Digital tourism village potentially accelerates rural development hence improving a country's economy. The Indonesian government has developed hundreds of tourism villages in recent years but has yet to popularize the development of digital villages. Technology design and development are pivotal factors in tourism villages' digitalization. Therefore, the development digital tourism village must consider village readiness by measuring technology adoption readiness or technology acceptance of the corresponding stakeholders. This paper presents the technology acceptance analysis in the context of a digital tourism village. We use a quantitative analysis approach using the TAM-UTAUT model with data collected from a questionnaire of 101 villagers (n=101) in Pasanggrahan Village, West Java, Indonesia. This research uses machine learning with clustering procedures to analyze the level of technology adoption readiness by implementing K-means Clustering algorithm. In addition, to observe the significance of each influencing factor to the technology adoption readiness level, feature importance analysis approach using Extra tree classifier algorithm is employed. The research finds that attitude toward use, perceived ease of use, and facilitating condition-have a considerable impact on the degree of readiness for technology adoption. On the other hand, the perceived utility and social impact are found to have minimal bearing on the preparedness level for technology adoption. Perceived ease of use and facilitating conditions are the most important factors to afford the acceleration of technology adoption readiness. The research contributes to the development of a digital tourism village and the analysis of technology adoption readiness using machine learning. © 2024 IEEE.

Negation handling is often overlooked in Indonesian sentiment analysis, making it difficult to automatically and accurately determine the polarity of sentences containing negation words. Negation is a challenging issue in natural language processing, as it can drastically alter the meaning of a sentence. For example, common Indonesian negation words such as “tidak” (no/not), “belum” (not yet), or “jangan” (do not) can reverse the sentiment polarity in a text. Previous studies have proposed rule-based approaches, relying on linguistic rules or dependency parse trees to handle negation. However, negation is a complex problem that cannot be effectively addressed by simple rules alone, as they often lack flexibility in handling diverse sentence structures and negation complexities. Therefore, a more dynamic approach is needed, such as combining a dependency parser with an embedding layer, which can map syntactic relationships between words and learn vector representations of negation. This allows the model to flexibly determine the scope of negation words, enabling more accurate sentiment analysis even in complex sentences. This study evaluates the impact of negation handling on a transformer-based model, specifically XLNet, in Indonesian sentiment analysis. Using the proposed method, the model's F1 score increased by 2.13%, from 71.42% to 73.55%, compared to the baseline model. This demonstrates that the proposed negation handling strategy enhances sentiment prediction accuracy, making the model more effective at handling texts with negation.

In general, public or private organizations or companies have used information-based technology as a support to improve business performance to be more effective and efficient in order to achieve a company's business goals. Banking companies include companies that use information technology such as Mobile Banking in their services. Mobile banking is a banking facility or service using mobile communication tools such as mobile phones, with the provision of facilities for banking transactions through mobile applications. Even though they have used a good SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), there are still many obstacles that occur, especially system problems and human errors. This can result in a high risk if it occurs continuously and will be fatal to the company's business processes. Therefore, COBIT 5 can be used as a benchmark for the IT assessment process on local bank mobile banking services. The purpose of the study is to determine the level of capability and strategy for improving risk management. The method used in this study is to focus on IT risk management with the COBIT 5 framework in the Evaluate Direct Monitoring (EDM) 3 domain, Align Plain Organize (APO) 12. From the results of the analysis, the calculation of the capability level is at Level 1 Performed Process with a score of 82.04%, thus the status has evidence as well as a systematic approach and this achievement is obtained significantly through the assessment of process attributes. © 2022 IEEE.

The increasing number of articles available in the digital library will require quite a long time and accuracy in sorting articles according to needs. The use of artificial neural networks in finding the right articles as needed through topic segmentation applications will helps this process in terms of speed and accuracy. Several neural network models used in segmentation topic applications include Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The Transformer model since its introduction in 2017 for Natural Language Processing (NLP) has a better level of accuracy compared to the RNN, CNN and LSTM models. Transformer model research for segmentation topic applications, especially articles in Indonesian language, is still very limited. This paper will discuss the use of the Transformer model in segmentation topic applications for Indonesian-language articles. The experimental results found that the accuracy produced by the Transformer model was higher than previous LSTM model with the WindowDiff value generated by the model proposed using Transformer is 0.249 and the LSTM baseline model is 0.363, while the PP! value generated by the proposed model is 0.279 and the LSTM baseline model is 0.394. © 2023 The Authors. Several studies suggest that sleep quality is associated with physical activities. Moreover, deep sleep time can be used to determine the sleep quality of an individual. In this work, we aim to find the association between physical activities and deep sleep time by modeling the time series data such as heart rate and a number of steps captured from a commercial wearable device. Our previous study demonstrates that deep learning-based time series modeling is well suited for our problem since the temporal patterns in the two physical parameters need to be captured to obtain more accurate results. We first preprocess our series data to have a time-step size of 10 minutes. To improve our previous effort in this modeling, we compare four different variants of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)-based models, ranging from single input to dual input models. Our result shows that the simple stacked LSTM model performs better for our data because the remaining models suffer from overfitting due to a larger number of the trained parameters. © 2023 The Authors. The process of using ICT to provide services to the public is known as the Indonesian e-Government system, or Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE). The e-Government initiative in Jakarta Provincial Health Office involves enhancing collaboration among public health entities for efficient data exchange and streamlined processes, especially between the Provincial and District Health Offices, public hospitals, government clinics, and primary health care centers (Puskesmas). Achieving interoperability requires standardized protocols and a well-defined architectural model to integrate data seamlessly. This study presents a provincial-level architectural model focused on improving electronic health records interoperability, aiming to promote the adoption of the national Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) health information exchange platform and enhance the integrity of health data in Jakarta. The study methodology involves conducting literature reviews, observations, and discussions with representatives from healthcare facilities to develop the e-Government architecture model and prototype of the infrastructure layer aiming to facilitate the interoperability of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) across 93 healthcare facilities, all of which are part of the SPBE users. © 2024 IEEE.

Air pollution is a pressing issue in cities, and managing air quality poses a challenge for urban designers and decision-makers. This study proposes a Digital Twin (DT) Smart City integrated with Mixed Reality technology to enhance visualization and collaboration for addressing urban air pollution. The research adopts an applied research approach, with a focus on developing a DT framework. A use case of DT development for Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is presented. By integrating air quality data, meteorological information, traffic patterns, and urban infrastructure data, the DT provides a comprehensive understanding of air pollution dynamics. The visualization capabilities of the DT, utilizing Mixed Reality technology, facilitate effective decision-making and the identification of strategies for managing air quality. However, further research is needed to address data management challenges to build a DT for Smart City at scale. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Low resolution image-face recognition system is one of the challenging aspects of face recognition models' development. From machine learning, deep learning, and into ensemble learning are implemented to develop face recognition models. Including mpdCNN that published by Mishra in a journal article. This mpdCNN already achieved 88.6% accuracy score on SCFace dataset while published. Based on literature review, ensemble learning model can be improved by modifying parallel layers. The purpose of this research is to improve mpdCNN's performance by implementing some modifications include adding parallel layers, alternating the fusion layers, expanding the layers, and adding residual connections. Some modifications were successfully improved mpdCNN's accuracy score. By adding parallel layers and residual connections into mpdCNN's architecture, the modified mpdCNN that proposed in this research achieved 92.33% accuracy score, measured by Rank-k evaluation metric. © 2025 IEEE.

Emotion Recognition is one field that is taking the world by storm in this current age. Multimodal emotion recognition has shown promising results however, previous studies shows that recognition using speech is a field has not performed that greatly. Previous research used popular methods such as CNN, RNN, and other machine learning methods has been used to achieved good results with the help of other modality, where if speech were to be used alone the results won't be as good. A factor that contributes to the result of the speech modality not performing as well is the fact of the dataset and the way it was processed. Therefore, this research looks into what makes speech one of the lowest performing modalities by preprocessing the dataset using a different method than previous researches as well as using a CNN model paired with a Transformer model. Results achieved from this research showed an improvement when using IEMOCAP by 8.09% and MELD by 1.06%. A comparison results of using the pre-processed data with previous studies model was also done to compare the results. In conclusion, this research has explored a different preprocessing method and deep learning model that has achieved results better than previous works with the same dataset.

The Internet of Things (IoT) was evaluated as part of this study. The IoT system in this study is the air quality monitoring system. The system consists of three layers, three end devices with air quality monitoring sensors as the perception layer, the LoRaWAN network as the network layer, and the monitoring website as the presentation layer. Before being made available to the public, IoT hardware and software must undergo testing. For IoT systems, there are no established standards or quality criteria. This study's goal is to evaluate the methodology for an air quality monitoring system. Website speed is measured using Pingdom tools. The website received a performance grade of B. Pingdom offers advice for enhancing website performance. Sucuri is utilized as a security test tool to evaluate the website's security, and consequently, no malware was discovered. The latency and data dependability are monitored to assess the system's performance fully. The outcome demonstrates that all system components consistently and accurately receive data with a latency of less than 1 s. © 2023 IEEE.
