Automated face mask classification has surfaced recently following the COVID-19 mask wearing regulations. The current State-of-The-Art of this problem uses CNN-based methods such as ResNet. However, attention-based models such as Transformers emerged as one of the alternatives to the status quo. We explored the Transformer-based model on the face mask classification task using three models: Vision Transformer (ViT), Swin Transformer, and MobileViT. Each model is evaluated with a top-1 accuracy score of 0.9996, 0.9983, and 0.9969, respectively. We concluded that the Transformer-based model has the potential to be explored further. We recommended that the research community and industry explore its integration implementation with CCTV. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

The launch of StuntingDB is believed to enliven the role of database management systems (DBMS) in Indonesia's stunting research. However, a novelty in stunting data management that enables parallel project activation in multiple observation areas is necessary. Several improved functionalities in StuntingDB must be designed to prevent the high demand for accessibility in the middle of stunting research. Connolly and Begg's principle of database design is adopted along with Software Development Life Cycle's Waterfall model for creating a continuous development of the system. This research produces a new database design in the form of Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Use Case Diagram to help system developers realizing a new version of StuntingDB for stunting research in several observation areas. © 2022 IEEE.

This study analyzed interactions between Twitter users in conversations regarding Indonesia's state-owned vaccine manufacturer 'Biofarma' in 2021. The primary objective of this study is to identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) due to the need of authentic and trustworthy persona in social media. A technique called network centrality was employed in this research alongside four centrality measurements, namely degree of centrality, eigenvector centrality, betweenness centrality, and closeness centrality. Focused on using a reply network interaction dataset, the research discovered several important usernames with different roles that enlivened the conversation and have a potential for social media marketing optimization. © 2022 IEEE.

In smart retail, the problem in grocery product image classification is fine-grained image representation. Product variants are characterized by differences in color, text, and size. However, while the process of image classification involves quite complex stages, there is still a misclassification of grocery products. This is because there are many areas of the image being calculated, which makes the models not optimally calculate the most important area. This paper aims to identify a number of patch image formations as an important area of the product by involving Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Keypoints (BRISK) as a feature descriptor, K-Means Clustering, and the elbow method. First, we experiment with the BRISK keypoint feature for grocery products with different categories of brands. Second, the keypoint features are clustered using K-Means clustering. Lastly, the number of clusters is analyzed using the elbow method to find the optimal number. The result shows that the number of clusters from 8 products has variations of 5, 5, and 6 clusters. Finally, each cluster represents an important area in forming patches to support fine-grained grocery product image classification.

An accurate predictive model of temperature and humidity plays a vital role in many industrial processes that utilize a closed space such as in agriculture and building management. With the exceptional performance of deep learning on time-series data, developing a predictive temperature and humidity model with deep learning is propitious. In this study, we demonstrated that deep learning models with multivariate time-series data produce remarkable performance for temperature and relative humidity prediction in a closed space. In detail, all deep learning models that we developed in this study achieve almost perfect performance with an R value over 0.99.

In recent times, there has been considerable attention directed towards Facial Expression Recognition (FER) due to its extensive utility across diverse domains. However, the universality of facial expressions has been challenged by studies suggesting that cultural backgrounds significantly influence the perception and recognition of emotions. This paper addresses the need for culturally specific datasets in FER tasks, particularly in underrepresented regions like Indonesia. The study introduces dynamic images as an alternative input representation for facial expression recognition tasks, aiming to assess their efficacy using the Indonesian Mixed Emotions Dataset (IMED). Through experimentation using EfficientNet model, the performance of dynamic images is compared with static image and video inputs. Results indicate that dynamic images exhibit promising performance, with an accuracy of 94.28%. These results outperform static image datasets and nearly match the performance of video-based models, which achieved an accuracy of 97.93 %, despite using fewer data. Nonetheless, challenges such as data imbalance and the quality of generated dynamic images persist, suggesting avenues for further research and model refinement. This study provides valuable insights into methodological advancements in FER, particularly in limited dataset conditions, laying the groundwork for future developments in dynamic image-based facial expression recognition algorithms.

Nowadays, many companies, industries, and organizations deal with digital disruption issues. They have to deal with it and take the initiative properly to keep their sustainability. Initiating a digital transformation by creating intelligent digital systems is one of many initiatives that could be considered to overcome these issues. Developing an intelligent digital system will maintain a company's performance, efficiency, and compliance. Numerous organizations are willing to create an intelligent digital system for their governance. However, they do not have sufficient knowledge on how to do it, including its enterprise architecture. Knowledge of enterprise architecture is an important part of properly developing an intelligent digital system. This research aimed to conduct a literature review to determine the perspective of the enterprise architecture model in intelligent digital system development. The second goal is to find recent trends and technology in intelligent digital enterprise architecture. Theoretically, it gives a contribution to providing a new perspective of more intelligent Enterprise Architecture with its trends and technologies compared to the old paradigm. Trees are one of the most important living things on the planet. Trees help by being one of the largest producers' oxygens on planet, by absorbing groundwater and by maintaining soil fertility. Trees can also be one of the keys to reducing existing air pollution. Therefore, the number of existing trees must be maintained. The first step in maintaining the number of existing trees is to count or map them. One of the easiest ways is to do this use an algorithm. This study uses a tree-counting algorithm called Deep Forest. Deep Forest is a Python package that can detect trees through RGB satellite imagery. This study used satellite imagery from Pleiades on an area in Kulon Progo district, Yogyakarta, Indonesia for the image-one of the four regencies within Yogyakarta Province in Indonesia. In addition to the Deep Forest algorithm, this research also used an application provided by Esri called ArcGIS Pro. With this application, data preprocessing such as labeling the data and creating the deep learning dataset for research is much easier, while ArcGIS Pro provides tools for labeling and exporting the data to jupyter notebook. The result obtained using the Deep Forest algorithm is the F1 score with an accuracy of 0.76 for the first experiment, 0.774 for the second experiment, and 0.779 for the final experiment.

Text mining is a data mining technique to find hidden things from a set of data in the form of text. One of the things that can be obtained with text mining is opinion or sentiment, whether it is positive or negative. Positive sentiment is used as a reference for a subject or object from a collection of texts to be recommended. Java Island is the city with the most population in Indonesia with a variety of culinary delights. This study aims to analyze sentiment recommendations on culinary data from food or cuisine in big cities on the island of Java. Four big cities were selected, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. The data source is a tweet of culinary arts of the four cities from Twitter in Indonesia. The Sastrawi Library is used as a text mining data processing tool in Indonesia. The results obtained are the majority of positive sentiments from all cities. The cumulative sentiment value of the four cities is 54%, meaning that the big cities on the island of Java have good culinary delights and deserve to be recommended to be enjoyed. © 2021 IEEE.

Finding parking slot inside packed parking area can be frustrating sometimes. Multiple cars chasing single parking space phenomenon often happens, and numbers of cars wasting vehicle distance without knowing where to go, and hopefully found empty parking slot, or a car that about to leave the occupied parking slot. This study will focus to increase IoT environment functionality on parking area with the help of A∗ path finding algorithm to accurately pinpoint driver to vacant parking slot, determined by nearest building entrance, and remotely reserved the parking slot prior when the vehicle got the parking ticket. In this study we also discuss about few possible scenarios, further discuss about the sensors, and the system architecture. © 2021 IEEE.
