In the digital era, the demand for quick access to goods (q-Commerce) has driven retail companies to develop online shopping applications, aiming to attract more consumers. To cater to the demands of q-Commerce, specialized mobile applications that prioritize fast delivery and user-friendly experiences are crucial. However, developing and maintaining these applications present challenges in terms of speed of development and security. This research focuses on a retail company, PT X, with a q-Commerce application serving 3.5 million active users monthly. The research aims to assess PT X's capability maturity level in application development governance using the COBIT 2019 Capability Maturity Model. Additionally, the study investigates the differences in assessment methods between COBIT 2019 and previous versions. The findings contribute to understanding in which level of capability maturity that companies can achieve in developing quick commerce applications with a large user base. Findings of this research provides an overview for PT X to initiate the necessary initial steps to comply with the good application development according to COBIT 2019 standard. This research also highlights to future researchers that COBIT 2019 is primarily a framework for enterprise-level assessment and need to be adjusted to be suitable for measurements below the enterprise level.

This research aims to build a mathematical model to formulate the problems of implementing knowledge management systems in companies that often face obstacles in achieving the desired objectives and goals. With increasing competition in the business sector, organizations or organizations realize the importance of utilizing the knowledge assets that reside in each individual and organization. If this knowledge can be managed optimally, it can become a competitive advantage for the company due to the emergence of innovative ideas by the concepts of knowledge management theory. By implementing optimal knowledge management (KM), companies can design innovative solutions to improve business operations and increase overall revenue. The factor analysis method will be used to find the determining factors for the success of the implementation of knowledge management systems (KMS) and the regression analysis method will also be used to form a mathematical model of several new factors which are formed as independent variables with the current level of community understanding of KMS as the dependent variable. The research results provide insight into strategies to improve success factors to successfully facilitate KMS implementation. This study contributes to existing knowledge management by providing insight into dynamics that go beyond the technical aspects of KMS, ultimately developing strategies for more effective and efficient utilization of knowledge and organizational growth and supporting competitive advantage for companies.

It is impossible to overestimate the critical significance that Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) play in enabling Human Resource Management (HRM) operations using information technology to manage human resources within a business. This study uses the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) methodology to evaluate the effectiveness of an HRIS in an Indonesian manufacturing organization. The IT Balanced Scorecard and HRM features are used in the research as essential tools. A survey was carried out with 185 employees who were using the HRIS program. The results identify four factors-poor information quality, information systems integration, application usability, and IT division support-that have a major impact on HRIS performance. Notably, the application system's usability turns out to be a significant factor influencing HRIS performance, yet the current HRIS application is widely criticized for its inadequate information quality. The results of this study contribute to the body of knowledge by indicating the possible efficacy of HRIS in industrial organizations under ideal circumstances. Moreover, the parameters that have been found can provide significant insights for enhancing HRIS effectiveness in future scenarios.

Automated face mask classification has surfaced recently following the COVID-19 mask wearing regulations. The current State-of-The-Art of this problem uses CNN-based methods such as ResNet. However, attention-based models such as Transformers emerged as one of the alternatives to the status quo. We explored the Transformer-based model on the face mask classification task using three models: Vision Transformer (ViT), Swin Transformer, and MobileViT. Each model is evaluated with a top-1 accuracy score of 0.9996, 0.9983, and 0.9969, respectively. We concluded that the Transformer-based model has the potential to be explored further. We recommended that the research community and industry explore its integration implementation with CCTV.

Convolutional Neural network is state of the art of image recognition or image classification. However to build the robust model using CNN needs many parameters adjusted, and choosing the good combination hyperparameter which impacts taking much computation time. Genetic algorithm is one method metaheuristic which is robust for choosing the combinatorial possible hyperparameter. This model also uses ResNet-50 which is a pretrained model of convolutional neural network that consists 50 layers. By using a pretrained like ResNet-50, it will increase the performance model. CNN-ResNet with efficient genetic algorithm (EGA) to optimize the hyperparameter. The EGA algorithm utilizes transfer learning techniques in its algorithm so that the optimization process on CNN can achieve unified accuracy values quickly. The best performance model optimized using EGA outperformed the ResNet-50 model and the model optimized using GA and VLGA in classifying organic and inorganic materials. The accuracy value obtained from EGA is 97.53% with a loss of 0.08.

Dadahup Swamp Irrigation Area (DIR) in Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan is developed for agricultural activities to provide food security after the pandemic. The water system consists of various channels, gates, and a flood embankment structure, which is also connected to three different rivers: Barito River, Mangkatif River, and Kapuas Mumpung River. To quantify flood risk assessments in the area, we perform a hydrodynamic analysis using the unsteady flow method via HEC-RAS software version 4.1.0. We use geometrical profiles from topography measurements and the outer boundary of the Dadahup DIR as input for the hydrologic model. Our results estimate the maximum surface water level from both cross and longitudinal sections in the channels and find that several points near the flood embankment area are prone to flood events. Our modeling approach provides a preliminary assessment for the local government to formulate a flood mitigation plan and policy in the area. © 2021 IEEE.

Mixed reality is becoming more popular, and a lot of technology companies trying to develop and enhance mixed reality technology and using it not just in manufactures or industries but lately the technology is used for teaching and learning, either in school or for training purposes. While traditional teaching and learning processes are not effective anymore and most of the time, the learning objectives are not reached. This paper has an objective to point out the benefits of using mixed reality for teaching and learning. 99 articles have been collected and reviewed carefully as a quality assessment process, there are 41 articles has been selected for further review and top 5 benefits will be discussed. This review informs educators and scholars that there are common benefits, and the most popular benefit is better learning engagement. © 2021 IEEE.

Opinion summarization and sentiment classification are key processes for understanding, analyzing, and leveraging information from customer opinions. The rapid and ceaseless increase in big data of reviews on e-commerce platforms, social media, or review portals becomes a stimulus for the automation of these processes. In recent years, deep transfer learning has opted to solve many challenging tasks in Natural Language Processing (NLP) relieving the hassles of exhaustive training and the requirement of extensive labelled datasets. In this work, we propose frameworks for Abstractive Summarization (ABS) and Sentiment Analysis (SA) of airline reviews using Pretrained Language Models (PLM). The abstractive summarization model goes through two finetuning stages, the first one, for domain adaptation and the second one, for final task learning. Several studies in the literature empirically demonstrate that review rating has a positive correlation with sentiment valence. For the sentiment classification framework, we used the rating value as a signal to determine the review sentiment, and the model is built on top of BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) architecture. We evaluated our models comprehensively with multiple metrics. Our results indicate competitive performance of the models in terms of most of the evaluation metrics. © 2024 The Author(s)

This paper reviews the latest trends and challenges in implementing digital twin technology. A digital twin is a tool used in various industries to improve efficiency, optimize processes, and enable advanced analysis. The review involved searching major research databases and search engines for articles published between 2018 and 2023. The findings reveal several important trends, including the development of different types of digital twin dimensions, each with its own advantages and limitations. The benefits of digital twin implementation include improved decision-making, increased productivity, and operational efficiency. However, there are challenges, such as data integration, security and privacy concerns, a lack of standardization, and the need for experts to effectively design and operate digital twins. The implications of these trends and challenges are discussed regarding their impact on the successful adoption and implementation of digital twin technology. The review also highlights the need to address these challenges and explore new approaches for maximizing the benefits of digital twin technology. Overall, this comprehensive review is a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and organizations seeking to understand the current landscape, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions when implementing digital twin technology.

Information engineering strategies play a significant and transformative role in shaping the landscape of digital agriculture. It drives innovation and efficiency in modern farming practices, with a specific focus on enhancing the value of agricultural commodities, such as sugarcane. The application of mobile technology plays a crucial part in achieving increased sugarcane productivity. Mobile applications, equipped with advanced developer features, offer rapid and user-friendly access to vital information. Traditional methods of estimating sugarcane production relied on manual data recording on paper, followed by data transfer to computer systems, typically managed by sugar factory junior plant officers. This conventional approach presents several inherent weaknesses, including time and effort intensiveness during data recording and entry. Additionally, the potential for errors in calculation and data input is a concern. The storage capacity for paper-based documents is finite, and farmers are often unable to autonomously assess their production potential. The objective of this research is to confront these obstacles by creating a sugarcane production application for Android. This application functions as an information engineering approach focused on forecasting sugarcane yields for plantation owners and their assistants. The development procedure adhered to the systematic waterfall method, following the principles of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. Data collection was carried out through observations, while interviews with junior plant officers provided valuable insights into sugarcane estimation techniques. Analysis involved the synthesis of observational and interview data to inform the design of the application’s interface and algorithmic system. The resulting application significantly simplifies the process of estimating production potential for farmers, enabling them to access sugarcane productivity data during harvest. Consequently, sugar
