Education stands out as one of the most impactful applications of the metaverse, holding immense potential for the future. Within the realm of satellite communication system science education, the integration of immersive learning through the metaverse adds a layer of interest and interactivity to the teaching and learning process. Numerous design and evaluation techniques have been employed in a growing body of research, aiming to understand how immersive learning via the metaverse can effectively contribute to specific educational objectives. Hence, this research is dedicated to delving into the development of an immersive learning metaverse model for the science of satellite communication systems. The research contributes a model that advocates for a holistic learning approach by integrating metaverse technology, VR, the 6E Instructional Process Model, and the MSLQ evaluation instrument. The objective of this model is to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and interactivity of learning within the field of satellite communication systems science. © 2024 IEEE.

In organizational knowledge management, Large Language Model (LLM) caches act as a semantic repository gathered from previous LLM responses. Due to intensive calls from multiple users, LLM may suffer from high inference latency. While there are many prior available approaches to solve this problem, most of them are inherently complex. This paper introduced a Knowledge Graph-enhanced Semantic Cache mechanism as an alternative, lightweight technique to boost retrieval for similar prompts. The latest state-of-the-art open-source LLM, named Google's Gemma-2B-it, was used to generate sample prompts and responses as a draft, while a knowledge graph (KG) was built from Wikipedia sentences. To create embeddings of prompts and KG, all-MiniLM-L6-v2 from SentenceTransformer was used. This new cache system resulted in up to 28% improvement over a standard model. In particular, reinforcement with KG cache embeddings yielded more than 85% semantic cache accuracy. To map the next trajectory of this pilot study, an overview of the extended framework for LLM knowledge management was also presented in this paper. The framework includes the new KG- enhanced cache system equipped with scalable security and fallback mechanisms that can promote green technology through substantial improvements in latency, throughput, and overall LLM costs. © 2024 IEEE.

Today's society is different from the past, where the speed of the internet is getting more sophisticated, and the existing gadget technology is getting faster, and of course, this is also changing the lifestyle of today's people, which of course almost half of their daily life is spent in front of gadgets. On the one hand, this is undoubtedly very good and supports humans in carrying out their daily life activities, but on the other hand, this raises new problems where humans start to lack time to communicate and socialize with each other and often making them stressed and anxious because they are already tired and do not know how to socialize anymore. This paper begins with a model and implementation of a very simple mobile application that behaves as a social media inspired by *** as a social media for academics. The design of this mobile application is done by using use case diagrams to describe existing processes and class diagrams to describe class relationships. © 2023 IEEE.

Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is a brain disorder that causes dementia and affects the memory, cognitive, and behavioral function. Early detection for AD can help to reduce the symptoms and slow down AD progression. Deep learning, particularly Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), a component of artificial intelligence, has demonstrated efficacy in resolving image-related issues and has gained widespread use in the analysis of medical images. CNN works well on large datasets, however, in imbalanced datasets, it can perform poorly by misclassifying minority classes. In this study, the random over-sampling technique is used to address the imbalance in the dataset, while Albumentations is used for image augmentation to prevent overfitting. The results demonstrate that the combination of these techniques leads to improved classification performance compared to traditional approaches. The proposed method has the potential to improve the accuracy of AD diagnosis and contribute to the development of effective treatments for this debilitating condition. © 2023 IEEE.

Artificial neural network (ANN)-based computer vision techniques are becoming increasingly popular for palm oil disease detection and classification. Deep learning models' capacity to automatically learn and extract relevant image features has enabled accurate and efficient detection and classification of palm oil diseases. In this research, research was conducted to test the deep learning method to predict the condition of oil palm plantations based on the visible atmospherically resistant index on the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Image. Some diseases that can attack oil palm trees are root disease or oil palm root rot (blast disease), basal stem rot (ganoderma), bud rot (spear rot), yellow line disease (patch yellow). This study aims to predict the condition of oil palm trees based on the VARI so that the process of detecting the spread of disease in oil palm trees can be accelerated. In this study, the prediction model for the condition of oil palm trees using the ANN algorithm succeeded in predicting the condition of oil palm trees and provided satisfactory prediction results, namely an accuracy rate of 94.7% and a loss of 21.58%. © 2023 IEEE.

As cybersecurity threats evolve alarmingly, conventional defense strategies are becoming increasingly ineffective. In response to this urgent challenge, our study presents a transformative approach to red-teaming exercises by integrating the MITRE ATT&CK framework. This innovative integration leverages real-world attacker tactics and behaviors to create highly realistic scenarios that rigorously test defenses and uncover previously unidentified vulnerabilities. Our comprehensive evaluation demonstrates a significant enhancement in the realism and effectiveness of red-teaming, leading to improved vulnerability identification and the generation of actionable insights for proactive remediation. This study uniquely contributes by providing a structured, data-driven methodology that aligns current defenses with emerging threat tactics and promotes continuous improvement in cybersecurity resilience. Such advancements are essential for organizations seeking to stay ahead of attackers and maintain robust cyber defenses in dynamic threat environments. The significance of this study lies in offering a structured approach to strengthen cybersecurity resilience against evolving threats and providing a model for continual defense enhancement. Future research should investigate the impact of this integration on long-term cybersecurity strategies. © 2024 The Authors

The volatile behavior of Bitcoin's price, especially during its halving periods, poses considerable obstacles for forecasting and decision-making in cryptocurrency trading. This paper presents a novel method that combines application fuzzy logic with Bollinger Bands to improve trading decision-making in times of high market volatility. This study conducted an experiment utilizing three fuzzy logic controllers and Bollinger Bands (BB) to determine the strength of buy, hold, and sell signals. This dataset includes the initial and final prices that are used to calculate the BB. The raw and computed values serve as the precise input parameters for the Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). The membership functions were categorized into four levels: very low, low, high, and very high, based on the input default settings utilized by traders. Rulesets were created using fuzzy logic to produce signals that indicate the level of strength of a trading advice. This study evaluate the effectiveness of this hybrid method in comparison to the traditional utilization of the Bollinger Band only indicator and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator, which is widely favored by traders to identify possible market fluctuations. This methodology involves creating a trading simulation that is based on past Bitcoin halving events. The objective is to assess the efficacy of these strategies in managing heightened volatility. The application of fuzzy logic with the Bollinger Bands model yielded a success rate of 92.47% while analyzing 93 daily data points from the previous Bitcoin halving event on May 11, 2020. © 2024 The Authors.

The city of Jakarta is getting more and more congested and crowded by the number and types of vehicles. Lack of public awareness to use public transportation causes this congestion to worsen, especially during rush hours in the morning before going to work or school and in the afternoon when returning home. This is also caused by the lack of the government of the capital city of Jakarta in providing cheap, safe, and comfortable public transportation. It is not surprising that the Indonesian government has plans to move the capital city of the Indonesian government from Jakarta on the island of Java to East Kalimantan on the island of Kalimantan. Therefore, seeing this severe traffic jam, it is essential to propose an application that can reduce congestion so that drivers who bring their vehicles can share with people around them to travel to work as a routine activity during weekdays. The model of this vehicle sharing application was designed using use case diagrams, and the database design was designed using class diagrams. In addition, security issues are also significant considering that people meet in this vehicle sharing application, and some bad people may take advantage of it. Therefore user registration and moderation are essential. It is hoped that this vehicle sharing application will reduce congestion in the capital city of Jakarta and become an example in other cities. © 2022 IEEE.

Malaria is a severe disease caused by parasites of the genus Plasmodium, which are transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito. Symptoms of malaria begin to appear at least within 10 to 15 days. If malaria is not treated immediately, it is feared that it will cause respiratory problems, shortness of breath, and death. To avoid the occurrence of these events, the idea arose to create an AI (Artificial Intelligence) project that can recognize the presence of malaria parasites in blood cells. Thus, the main objective of this project is to find out how to create a Machine Learning model that can efficiently identify malaria parasites in the human body. The AI project uses CNN (Convolutional Neural network) as an algorithm to recognize the presence or absence of parasites in blood cell images that will be inputted by the user. Process of implementing CNN, using VGG19 which is an advanced CNN that has pre-trained layers and a good understanding of describing an image, both the shape, color, and structure of the image. After implementing the Transfer Learning algorithm on the dataset, the result is a Transfer Learning algorithm that can detect the presence of Malaria parasites in blood cells with an accuracy rate of 92 percent a specificity of 95 percent, and a sensitivity of 89 percent. The accuracy can still increase depending on the diversity of the data provided. The more often we train and input test data as train data, the accuracy of AI will also increase. © 2023 IEEE.

In this research, the author addresses the prevalent issues faced by users of cloud services, especially those using Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology, such as connection losses, security concerns, and poor video quality. The study does not delve into the complex problems at the data center level but instead proposes a novel Design science Research approach. This new method, tested with five clients in varied locations, utilizes port forwarding to establish a direct server-client connection, bypassing traditional P2P frameworks. The results show that this approach significantly improves quality over the P2P system. Feedback from clients before and after the experiment indicates a positive response to this new method. This research offers insights into overcoming P2P-related issues in cloud services and contributes to the development of cloud-based server science, presenting a cost-effective, independent alternative to data center-dependent P2P services, with plans for ongoing research in this area. © 2023 IEEE.
