Prediction of software defects is an important aspect of software quality assurance, aiming to identify defective modules to improve reliability and reduce costs in the maintenance process. A systematic literature review (SLR) on software defect prediction is presented in this study, focusing on identifying commonly used datasets, methods, and frameworks in this domain between 2014 and 2023. The review follows established SLR guidelines to synthesize data from primary studies, providing insight into research trends as well as methodological advances. The results show a significant reliance on public datasets such as the NASA Metrics Data program (MDP) and the PROMISE repository. Various machine-learning techniques have been used, with Neural networks, support vector machines, and random forests becoming the most popular techniques. This review aims to guide future research by highlighting key trends and gaps in the existing literature.

ITS is a method of teaching that uses technology to give lessons without the need for an instructor to be there. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted in this research to identify the components of an intelligent tutoring system, and the results are presented. The method used in this literature review is the prism method. The steps in the prism method are slr protocol, search for literature, select literature, summarize evidence and disseminate results. The slr protocol stage, it consists of determining a research question, searching for scientific reference sources with the keyword intelligent tutoring system, then sorting out the appropriate articles and making final conclusions. This article gives a detailed look at how the intelligent tutoring system changed over time during the pandemic epoch. Our contribution is complete information on the components of ITS in times of epidemic at universities, with the goal of improving their learning and practical use of the technology. © 2024 IEEE.

Nowadays, social media serves as a platform for sharing and receiving information. One indicator of the importance of information is its virality. Virality is an interesting topic in the world of Natural Language Processing (NLP), including the prediction of virality and identifying features that influence it. Research in this area has utilized Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) models and yielded promising results. Previous studies aimed to predict virality based on specific features. This research aims to predict virality by combining the abilities of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and BERT models. The BERT model transforms textual data into numerical and adds new features, while the CNN model excels in numerical classification. Data for this study is sourced from Twitter and in Indonesian language. The proposed model demonstrates improvements compared to the model from previous research. Specifically, it shows a 7.1% increase in precision, a 9.9% increase in recall, a 3.8% increase in accuracy, and an 8.1% increase in F1-Score compared to the previous model. These findings contribute to future research on similar topics, particularly in leveraging multiple models for prediction tasks. Overall, the study provides insights into effectively utilizing the strengths of various models and combining them in prediction tasks.

The background of this research is the condition of the covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on online ticket sales. Meanwhile, when future of covid-19 pandemic is starting to become clearer, we are going to have a lot more infections but hopefully a lot fewer hospitalizations, people began to travel long distances that had been delayed by implementing health protocols. Airfare competition can influence the decision to buy airline tickets. Various things have been done to attract the attention of buyers. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. Population in this research was people who have purchased plane tickets online during the covid-19 pandemic, and the sample were 113 respondents age between 15 and 64. Sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used in this study using multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, multiple linear, T-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination test. It was concluded that price, promotion, and lifestyle variables can influence online purchasing decisions. © 2023 IEEE.

A standard of evaluating digital marketing practices is a challenging study to do. Many studies to do to find such a standard. Here, the study aims to develop a decision model as a standard to measure the performance of digital marketing activity conducted by several Indonesian companies. The fuzzy logic is the main method to develop the model via five selected parameters. Based on the expert's evaluation, the constructed model can simulate indicating that the practices of Indonesia's media company in digital marketing reach a performance value of 58.55 with a similarity value of 52.35% if compared with the manual calculation. © 2024 IEEE.

Since the emergence of Pokémon Go in 2016, the world has been introduced to Augmented Reality (AR) games. Many IT companies have begun developing augmented reality (AR) games due to the great commercial potential in this industry. Certain products may have managed to remain viable in the market, while others were forced to close due to one or two factors. Since the emergence of Pokémon Go, no other game has managed to surpass its unprecedented success. The company responsible for developing Pokémon Go has decided to shut down one of their games due to a lack of consumer interest. The technology of augmented reality (AR) is consistently associated with the concept of immersion. Immersion is a key aspect of the game that allows users to deeply engage and feel fully involved in the experience. This study will employ a quantitative methodology, utilising a questionnaire that will be distributed to and completed by those who have engaged in augmented reality (AR) games. The data will be analysed using Smart PLS to examine the impact of user experience on immersion, which in turn influences intention. After gathering over 200 participants by spreading google form questionnaires and doing data analysis, the findings indicate that only a few aspects of user experience, namely Brand Experience and User Need Experience, have an impact on reasons. Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, was unable to replicate their success with a similar augmented reality game called Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The initial release occurred on June 21, 2019, and the shutdown took place on December 21, 2021. In the beginning, they shown a profound enthusiasm for the game but were unable to sustain it, much as Pokémon Go. According to Niantic CEO John Hanke, the primary reason for the game's shutdown was its immersion. A subscription movie streaming service from the United States, Netflix, has been present in Indonesia since 2016 and provides a wide variety of films without showing any single advertisements that can be viewed from anywhere, as long as there is access to the internet. Despite these advantages, many users have complained through the Google Play Store's comments column. Some of the common complaints include frequent buffering and connectivity issues, dissatisfaction with the limited selection of Indonesian movies, lack of subtitles for specific languages, or pricing concerns have also been raised. In this study developed two combined scenario methods using the InSet and SentiStrength-id dictionary to obtain better performance and compare them against independent InSet and SentiStrength-id. This study collected users' comments for the Netflix app in the Google Play Store as a dataset using web scraping techniques through the Google Collaboration tool. The dataset contains 3250 rows spanning the period from January 22, 2024, through June 6, 2024. To ensure proper processing of the text, data cleaning, lowercasing, normalization, tokenization, stemming, and stopwords removal are conducted. The results show that most user opinions are negative. The InSet dictionary has an accuracy of 92%, SentiStrength-id 78%, Combined scenario 1 is 87%, and scenario 2 reaches the highest among others which is 92.52%. © 2024 IEEE.

Operating a smart city is intricate and requires comprehensive management. Implementing a decision model is one effective and efficient method to address this complexity. This study seeks to systematically review articles to see the trends in the utilization of fuzzy logic methods and their combinations, particularly in a decision model that supports smart city operations. Through four stages, the study not only presents the bibliometric-based review findings to address specific inquiries but also produces an object-oriented model for review purposes. Based on 131 articles, the research trend indicates a linear growth in studies focusing on smart cities and decision models, with a particular emphasis on incorporating fuzzy logic models. Additionally, according to 9 deep-reviewed articles, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) emerges as a popular method often combined with the fuzzy logic method. As well, the object-oriented model for review purposes is developed with 19 interrelated objects. It is the main contribution of the study.

The challenges in the education sector are extensive, encompassing issues such as human resource selection, technology choice, and business procedure assessment. To address these challenges both academically and practically, decision models can be effectively utilized. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric review to examine the trends in the use of fuzzy logic and identify popular methods combined with fuzzy logic in the development and implementation of decision models in educational contexts. The review results were then used to design a generic education decision model using an object-oriented approach. Based on the analysis of 165 selected articles from the past decade and an in-depth review of 10 articles, the study found that the use of fuzzy logic is growing rapidly, following a tight exponential trend. Additionally, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is frequently united with fuzzy logic in developing decision models. Consequently, an object-oriented decision model was designed, featuring 2 decision model blocks (i.e. selection and evaluation), 7 main objects, 9 use cases, and 5 human actors.

Classification of Indonesian crops is a critical task in developing farming and getting more understanding of agriculture. However, there is no clear task in classifying types of crops in Indonesia. Transfer learning has been used successfully in a variety of image classification applications. Thus, in this paper, we collected images of Indonesian crops from the internet randomly and proposed a classification by using transfer learning of deep learning with four pre-trained models: EffficientNetB0, ResNet18, VGG19, and AlexNet. In the experiment, augmentation techniques such as random horizontal flip, random vertical flip, and random affine were utilized to prevent the network from overfitting. The result found that EfficientNet-B0 outperformed other models with an accuracy of 82.55. Then, the model struggled to distinguish between crops in the same family. According to the results, although transfer learning can work well to classify images of Indonesian agricultural crops, some improvements are still required to address existing issues. © 2023 The Authors.
