Containerization has become a popular approach in application development in applications development and deployment, many benefits we can get such as improved scalability, portability, and resource efficiency. Container-based applications, utilizing technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, have transformed the packaging, deployment, and management of software from the desktop environment to the cloud platform. In this context, software metrics approach plays a good role in evaluating the characteristics and performance of container-based applications, ensuring that developers and operators are on the same page. This article explores the importance of software metrics in optimizing the software lifecycle of container-based applications, addressing the unique challenges they present, and highlighting the potential benefits of leveraging metrics to improve performance and efficiency. Our finding Performance Metrics and Availability Metrics is the most metrics that the most measure by applications owner, relevant studies and industry practices, this study aims to provide insights and recommendations to effectively measure and optimize region-based software systems. © 2023 IEEE.

The process of using ICT to provide services to the public is known as the Indonesian e-Government system, or Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE). The e-Government initiative in Jakarta Provincial Health Office involves enhancing collaboration among public health entities for efficient data exchange and streamlined processes, especially between the Provincial and District Health Offices, public hospitals, government clinics, and primary health care centers (Puskesmas). Achieving interoperability requires standardized protocols and a well-defined architectural model to integrate data seamlessly. This study presents a provincial-level architectural model focused on improving electronic health records interoperability, aiming to promote the adoption of the national Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) health information exchange platform and enhance the integrity of health data in Jakarta. The study methodology involves conducting literature reviews, observations, and discussions with representatives from healthcare facilities to develop the e-Government architecture model and prototype of the infrastructure layer aiming to facilitate the interoperability of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) across 93 healthcare facilities, all of which are part of the SPBE users. © 2024 IEEE.

Electrical energy is one of the most important human needs. Almost all human work requires electrical energy. Lack of electricity may hinder human activities. Therefore, it is important to maintain the availability of the electrical energy. This paper explores a way to reduce waste of electricity use through the implementation of the Internet of things (IoT). We introduce an IoT system that expands the function of the internet that allows us to control household appliances properly and efficiently, enabling us to monitor the cost of usage every month. The proposed system is implemented at the Campus Academy computer Management and Informatics (AMKI) Ketapang to control and monitor lights in the computer Laboratory and Terrace Campus. This system utilizes Raspberry Pi 3, LDR sensors, Relays, and software like PHP and Raspbian Linux. The evaluation results have shown that the proposed IoT system has reduced the monthly cost of electricity. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

The concept of object-oriented (OO) serves is a fundamental approach in the development of models. The stages associated with this method contribute significantly to ensuring that the resulting model is both lucid and transparent. The primary objective of the study is to create a decision model for evaluating student performance. Floating fuzzy logic (FFL) is employed as a technique to handle fluctuating data within the model. Moreover, OO conception plays a central role in analyzing, designing, and constructing the model through the utilization of four distinct types of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams: object, activity, state-machine, and sequence diagrams. The model itself is crafted using the Python programming language and executed in the Google Colab platform. Additionally, this model has the capability to simulate changes in students' performance on a semester-by -semester basis, exhibiting a variance of 15 % when compared to the conventional fuzzy logic model. © 2023 IEEE.

The increasing number of articles available in the digital library will require quite a long time and accuracy in sorting articles according to needs. The use of artificial neural networks in finding the right articles as needed through topic segmentation applications will helps this process in terms of speed and accuracy. Several neural network models used in segmentation topic applications include Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The Transformer model since its introduction in 2017 for Natural Language Processing (NLP) has a better level of accuracy compared to the RNN, CNN and LSTM models. Transformer model research for segmentation topic applications, especially articles in Indonesian language, is still very limited. This paper will discuss the use of the Transformer model in segmentation topic applications for Indonesian-language articles. The experimental results found that the accuracy produced by the Transformer model was higher than previous LSTM model with the WindowDiff value generated by the model proposed using Transformer is 0.249 and the LSTM baseline model is 0.363, while the PP! value generated by the proposed model is 0.279 and the LSTM baseline model is 0.394. © 2023 The Authors. Automated language translation involving low-resource language has gained wide interest from many research communities in the past decade. One lesson learned from the past COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in Indonesia, is that many local Governments have to release regular public announcements to keep people following health protocol especially when they are in public areas. Many studies showed some evidence that rural people in Indonesia which covers a large proportion of Indonesia's population, feel more convenience receiving official announcements in their local language. However, translating official announcement from the national language to many local languages in Indonesia require many experienced bilingual translators and time. This paper presents exploration results in developing an automated language translator model to translate texts in Bahasa Indonesia to the Sundanese language. In particular, this study aims to explore the effect of ReLU, Sigmoid, and Tanh activation functions of the Vanilla Transformer Model on its translation performance. The experiment results showed that the activation function under study gives similar training accuracy (0.98). However, ReLU achieves better performance than Tanh in terms of validation accuracy, training loss, and validation loss. © 2023 IEEE.

This research investigates the novel application of Dynamic Game Balancing (DGB) techniques in the context of a hybrid chess-survival roguelike game, a unique combination of genres not widely explored in previous studies. The study addresses two primary research questions: the identification of suitable DGB techniques for these genres and the enhancement of user experience through DGB. A game prototype was developed using Unity, where players control a chess knight in a turn-based system, facing increasingly challenging enemy pieces. The DGB system dynamically adjusts the game's difficulty based on player performance, utilizing various inputs such as damage received or dealt, health points, powerup usage, and decision speed. Preliminary results from 14 beta-testers show overall positive feedback, with players reporting higher engagement and enjoyment due to the seamless difficulty adjustments, as reflected by the high mean scores from surveys like the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). This research fills a gap in the literature by demonstrating the feasibility and benefits of integrating DGB in a chess-survival roguelike setting. These findings highlight the potential for DGB to significantly improve player experience in hybrid game genres, suggesting that its application can create more adaptive and immersive gaming environments in various other genres as well.

This paper discusses comprehensively the advanced technologies used in the implementation of smart services, which are key elements of a smart city. Smart cities are becoming eco-friendly, livable, and sustainable to deliver essential services to their citizens by leveraging internet and communication technology advancements. Starting from a short literature review about smart cities and smart services, a recent trend in the technology used to implement smart services is collected. Smart service can be defined as a service conveyed using intelligent products that possess awareness and connectivity. All kinds of smart services can be connected in smart cities to offer citizens comprehensive solutions. Pre-emptive services, self-services, or highly interactive services, for example, have the potential to be implemented using current technology such as the internet of things, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, machine learning, machine-to-machine communications, and the digital twin. Therefore, there is scope for research and implementation of other technology for smart services in the future. © 2023 ACM.

Crop Yield Analysis and Prediction is a fast-expanding discipline that is critical for optimizing agricultural methods. A lack of trustworthy data is one of the challenges in estimating crop yields. We develop predictive models for 22 different fruits and vegetables data. The goals of this study are to create accurate and interpretable crop recommendation models. We used multiple machine learning (ML) models for multi-class crop production prediction to fulfill our research goal. We thoroughly examined the influence of climate and nutrient factors on crop yield, considering their complex interactions. To improve the dataset, augmented data techniques were applied. Configuring the parameters and fine-tuning the hyperparameters is our technique to increase the model performance. Furthermore, we employ explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) techniques and interpretability tools like Shapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) to improve the interpretability of our prediction model. Our findings reveal that the XGBoost model has the best performance model with 99.86% accuracy, followed by SVM Poly Kernel with 99.32% and Random Forest with 98.82%. Feature selection and analysis are emphasized, particularly in regional agricultural contexts. This study contributes to the creation of accurate and interpretable crop recommendation models while also addressing the issue of untrustworthy data, providing useful insights for optimizing agricultural practices. © 2023 IEEE.

Mental health is one of the states of well-being which enables people to cope with various things in everyday life. Despite that, mental health is often overlooked, driving the emergence of numerous mental disorders on people. Along the presence of technological advancements, there is serious game which is utilized to entertain and achieve non-game goals related to real-life issues. Due to that, serious game can be leveraged as a media put into health sectors, particularly in presenting fun therapy to people diagnosed with mental disorders. This research presents systematic literature review on publications discussing the utilization of serious game in providing fun therapy for people with mental disorders, focusing on matters like the mental disorders emphasized within, the game elements presented in each publication, and ways to evaluate the serious game. The result indicates overall well-received responses regarding the usage of serious game in serving the purpose, albeit with different ways on evaluation process based on the mental disorders each publication addressed for.
