IT/OT convergence in the form of a Cyber-Physical System (CPS) presents an opportunity to apply recent Information Technology (IT) advancements to Operational Technology (OT). The IT/OT convergence introduces cyber security threats for OT. The OT communication protocols, for example, have limited or no security capabilities for securing data exchange beyond basic authentication. The RNG (Random Number Generator) function is crucial in PLC for producing the encryption keys or the initial seed for security algorithms. The software-based PRNG (Pseudo RNG) is the most common approach for RNG in OT, instead of hardware-based RNG. This study provides a systematic literature review of the most recent evidence in digital transformation to secure data exchange in smart factories, within OT, or across OT and IT settings. It does this by looking at the PRNG on PLC and identifying the most recent trends and best practices. The findings include up-to-date data on author countries' distribution, published journals, research trends, industries, and industry types. The findings also address whether data flow is encrypted or shared in plaintext to ensure secure data transfer between IT and legacy OT environments. This paper concludes that while there is known RNG implementation in the actual embedded system in ICS, there is no evidence in the literature for using RNG in ICS networks for PLC implementation to secure data transfer with encryption.

Algorithm development on skin diseases identification with high cardinality classification is still very challenging. In addition, the high similarity appearance among diseases makes the computer vision approach meet high difficulties on providing clear distinct feature representation. In general, some literature shows that the performance of single machine learning or single deep learning techniques can be further improved when merged by ensemble mechanism. This approach has been applied on binary skin's cancer diseases diagnosis prediction and successfully improve the prediction ability. This paper elaborates the potential of ensemble machine learning approaches using stacking techniques on conducting feature extraction and classification model for identifying more general skin diseases based on dermoscopy images and mobile phone images. The proposed model combines three different CNN architectures, ResNet50, Xception, and VGG16 to extract features from the image then stacked as input for the model trained using five different algorithms, which are logistic regression, support vector machines, multi-layer perceptron, k-nearest neighbors, random forests and the combination of these algorithm in stacking classifier as the base estimators and final estimator. The simulation results present the proposed ensemble - stacking model succeeds to improve the identification ability in all utilized datasets. In addition, the proposed ensemble - stacking models show better recall which indicates good sensitivity on handling false negative. It is beneficial for medical application. © 2024 IEEE.

In this digitalization era, insurance companies have to face many new challenges, namely a very competitive market that has resulted in decreased margins and revenues and increased expectations from customers for insurance company services. Insurance companies are required to be fast-paced in providing accurate services and pricing. In addition, insurance companies must carry out marketing strategies that make customers feel valued so that strong engagement will arise. The focus of this research is on the field of marine cargo insurance, which is an insurance product that guarantees the loss of transportation of goods by sea. The purpose of this research is to analyze the underwriting and marketing processes in marine cargo business loss insurance and identify insurance models that can be smart and comprehensive solutions. The research method is to conduct a literature review to obtain previous problems and solutions related to this research topic. Then the researchers conducted observations and interviews with experts at an international insurance company in Jakarta. From this method, the main problems in this research are the underwriting process, product information services, and system recommendations that are less effective and efficient. This study proposes a smart insurance model concept by combining technological features, namely expert systems, chatbot, and recommend systems. It is hoped that this research will contribute to increasing underwriting and marketing productivity, as well as customer satisfaction in getting fast and appropriate product services. © 2021 IEEE.

In recent times, there has been considerable attention directed towards Facial Expression Recognition (FER) due to its extensive utility across diverse domains. However, the universality of facial expressions has been challenged by studies suggesting that cultural backgrounds significantly influence the perception and recognition of emotions. This paper addresses the need for culturally specific datasets in FER tasks, particularly in underrepresented regions like Indonesia. The study introduces dynamic images as an alternative input representation for facial expression recognition tasks, aiming to assess their efficacy using the Indonesian Mixed Emotions Dataset (IMED). Through experimentation using EfficientNet model, the performance of dynamic images is compared with static image and video inputs. Results indicate that dynamic images exhibit promising performance, with an accuracy of 94.28%. These results outperform static image datasets and nearly match the performance of video-based models, which achieved an accuracy of 97.93 %, despite using fewer data. Nonetheless, challenges such as data imbalance and the quality of generated dynamic images persist, suggesting avenues for further research and model refinement. This study provides valuable insights into methodological advancements in FER, particularly in limited dataset conditions, laying the groundwork for future developments in dynamic image-based facial expression recognition algorithms.

The Stemming Process is used to get the base word by removing the word affixes. The purpose of this study is to improve the algorithm in previous research by incorporating the Stemming Process into a morphophonemic approach for language processing based on rules (Rule Based) which is named AM Sundanese Stemmer (AMS). The AM Sundanese stemmer algorithm will utilize morpheme information to perform stemming on Sundanese words and analyze the phonemes in a word to identify the morphemes therein contained. The experimental process was carried out with 11,885 existing data and a sample of 546 words were taken to be stemmed. The test was carried out by comparing the algorithms of Nazief and Adriani, UG 18 and AMS. The test results showed that the AMS Algorithm was better than the Nazief Andriani Algorithm and the UG18 Algorithm with a high F-1 score of 87.52% and the comparison of the execution time of the AMS Stemmer Algorithm was 0.041403 seconds faster than the Nazief Andriani and UG 18 Algorithms.

Autonomous car research is currently developing rapidly to find optimal and accurate steering angle and speed control. Various sensors such as cameras, LIDAR, and RADAR are used to recognize the surrounding environment to determine the correct steering angle prediction in avoiding obstacles. In addition to being expensive, LIDAR and RADAR have several drawbacks such as the level of accuracy that depends on the weather and the ability to detect adjacent objects. This paper will propose the prediction of steering angle and speed control in autonomous cars based on the detection of street view objects such as cars in front, traffic signs, pedestrians, and lane lines. The process of object detection and prediction of steering angle, as well as prediction of speed control using a convolutional neural network (CNN) through video captured using a single camera. In this method, other sensors such as LIDAR and RADAR are no longer needed so that the costs required are lower and the weaknesses found in LIDAR and RADAR can be eliminated. The results obtained are very good with 92% accuracy for steering angle prediction and 85% for speed control prediction. The autonomous car can run well in the simulator environment through the video taken on the real road. © 2021 IEEE.

Electrodermal activity (EDA) is a general term for all electrical phenomena occurring on the skin, both passive and active. EDA measurements are used by researchers to measure levels of stress, emotion, mental strain, and so on. Measuring human stress levels, emotions, and mental strain are generally associated with the skin conductance response. The function GSR sensor is not only used to read people's psychology but also can be used as a pain sensor used to read the degree of pain in the skin. This pilot study uses sample data from ***. The *** data is galvanic skin response sensor data. The output of this sensor is the conductivity value that occurs in the skin. The data obtained from *** will be extracted using the mean, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, RMS, skewness, and peak-to-peak characteristics. The extracted functions are selected using the forward selection method. The results of the feature selection are three features with an accuracy percentage greater than 50%, namely the mean feature, the RMS feature, and the skewness feature. The machine learning models used are bagged tree, SVM, and K-NN models. Of the three models used, the bagged tree model has the highest accuracy rate, at 98.05%, with an F1 score is 0.9807. The KNN model with k=10 has the lowest level of accuracy compared to other models, at 96.75%. © 2023 IEEE.

The outbreak of acute respiratory syndrome virus disease in China at the end of 2019 has caused a global epidemic as well as high mortality rates in affected countries. This research aimed at examining the extent of the spread of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Tangerang City. The data used included the data of confirmed Covid-19 patients. Such data was integrated with geospatial data found in 13 sub-districts in Tangerang City. The prediction of the spread of confirmed Covid-19 cases was made by using Linear Regression model. The results of the MAPE calculation with a value below 10% in 13 districts resulted in a very good predictive value. This prediction resulted in a graph and was connected to each other in a thematic map coordinate point system. The results of the Covid-19 spread prediction were divided into several districts and indicated with different color variations. Therefore, the darker the resulting color on the thematic map visualization, indicates an increase in Covid-19 cases that have occurred. © 2021 IEEE.

Communication is a form of translation that human learns naturally since early childhood. Translating a language to another language has become instrumental when peoples interact with other people who speak a different language. One example of high-impact language translation is translating health protocols from the World Health Organization to many national languages to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. However, the language translation is not an easy computation task when there is a language-resource gap. This paper presents empirical results on the performance of the Long Short-term Memory model as a machine translation involving Bahasa Indonesia and the Sundanese languages. Performance of the Sundanese language to Indonesian language translation is 0.93 average training and validation accuracy and 0.91 average testings BLEU score. Whilst, Indonesian language to Sundanese language translation is 0.92 average training and validation accuracy and 0.88 average testings BLEU score. Both models achieve 0.39 average training loss and 0.38 average validation loss. © 2023 IEEE.

The volatile behavior of Bitcoin's price, especially during its halving periods, poses considerable obstacles for forecasting and decision-making in cryptocurrency trading. This paper presents a novel method that combines application fuzzy logic with Bollinger Bands to improve trading decision-making in times of high market volatility. This study conducted an experiment utilizing three fuzzy logic controllers and Bollinger Bands (BB) to determine the strength of buy, hold, and sell signals. This dataset includes the initial and final prices that are used to calculate the BB. The raw and computed values serve as the precise input parameters for the Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). The membership functions were categorized into four levels: very low, low, high, and very high, based on the input default settings utilized by traders. Rulesets were created using fuzzy logic to produce signals that indicate the level of strength of a trading advice. This study evaluate the effectiveness of this hybrid method in comparison to the traditional utilization of the Bollinger Band only indicator and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator, which is widely favored by traders to identify possible market fluctuations. This methodology involves creating a trading simulation that is based on past Bitcoin halving events. The objective is to assess the efficacy of these strategies in managing heightened volatility. The application of fuzzy logic with the Bollinger Bands model yielded a success rate of 92.47% while analyzing 93 daily data points from the previous Bitcoin halving event on May 11, 2020.
