People acknowledge innovation as a critical and central factor in increasing economic output and productivity. The phrase disruptive innovation was first familiarized in 1995 and has evolved into a new phenomenon. It exemplifies how a new entrant in a field can eventually compete with the incumbent. Furthermore, many of them may replace them. The study strives to identify the critical factors underlying disruptive innovations. This study employs a systematic literature review strategy and PRISMA meta-analysis. It refers to various reputable data sources from 2013 to 2022. The study included 5,305 articles, analyzed 183 articles that encountered the criteria, and employed 45 appropriate articles. As a result, it encounters six critical factors to disruptive innovation: demand, technology readiness, regulation, labor, external technology, and capital. The proposed formula encapsulates a Success Score for assessing disruptive innovations, integrating various essential factors contributing to success.

Sentiment analysis from code-mixed texts has been gaining wide attention in the past decade from researchers and practicians from various communities motivated, among others, by the increasing popularity of social media resulted in a huge volume of code-mixed texts. Sentiment analysis is an interesting problem in Natural Language Processing with wide potential applications, among others, to understand public concerns or aspirations toward some issues. This paper presents experimentation results aim to compare performance of lexicon-based and Sentence-BERT as sentiment analysis models from code-mixed of low-resources texts as input. In this study, some code-mixed texts of Bahasa Indonesia and Javanese language are used as sample of low-resource code-mixed languages. The input dataset are first translated to English using Google Machine Translation. The Sentiwordnet and VADER are two English lexicon label datasets used in this study as basis for predicting sentiment category using lexicon-based sentiment analysis method. In addition, a pretrained Sentence-BERT model is used as classification model from the translated input text to English. In this study, the dataset is categorized into positives and negative categories. The model performance was measured using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. The experimentation found that the combined Google machine translator and Sentence-BERT model achieved 83 % average accuracy, 90 % average precision, 76 % average recall, and 83 % average F1 Score. © 2021 IEEE.

The Utilization of Fuzzy Logic and Bollinger Bands to Enhance Trading Decision-Making During the Bitcoin Halving Phase

The volatile behavior of Bitcoin's price, especially during its halving periods, poses considerable obstacles for forecasting and decision-making in cryptocurrency trading. This paper presents a novel method that combines application fuzzy logic with Bollinger Bands to improve trading decision-making in times of high market volatility. This study conducted an experiment utilizing three fuzzy logic controllers and Bollinger Bands (BB) to determine the strength of buy, hold, and sell signals. This dataset includes the initial and final prices that are used to calculate the BB. The raw and computed values serve as the precise input parameters for the Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). The membership functions were categorized into four levels: very low, low, high, and very high, based on the input default settings utilized by traders. Rulesets were created using fuzzy logic to produce signals that indicate the level of strength of a trading advice. This study evaluate the effectiveness of this hybrid method in comparison to the traditional utilization of the Bollinger Band only indicator and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator, which is widely favored by traders to identify possible market fluctuations. This methodology involves creating a trading simulation that is based on past Bitcoin halving events. The objective is to assess the efficacy of these strategies in managing heightened volatility. The application of fuzzy logic with the Bollinger Bands model yielded a success rate of 92.47% while analyzing 93 daily data points from the previous Bitcoin halving event on May 11, 2020.

Autonomous car research is currently developing rapidly to find optimal and accurate steering angle and speed control. Various sensors such as cameras, LIDAR, and RADAR are used to recognize the surrounding environment to determine the correct steering angle prediction in avoiding obstacles. In addition to being expensive, LIDAR and RADAR have several drawbacks such as the level of accuracy that depends on the weather and the ability to detect adjacent objects. This paper will propose the prediction of steering angle and speed control in autonomous cars based on the detection of street view objects such as cars in front, traffic signs, pedestrians, and lane lines. The process of object detection and prediction of steering angle, as well as prediction of speed control using a convolutional neural network (CNN) through video captured using a single camera. In this method, other sensors such as LIDAR and RADAR are no longer needed so that the costs required are lower and the weaknesses found in LIDAR and RADAR can be eliminated. The results obtained are very good with 92% accuracy for steering angle prediction and 85% for speed control prediction. The autonomous car can run well in the simulator environment through the video taken on the real road. © 2021 IEEE.

The outbreak of acute respiratory syndrome virus disease in China at the end of 2019 has caused a global epidemic as well as high mortality rates in affected countries. This research aimed at examining the extent of the spread of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Tangerang City. The data used included the data of confirmed Covid-19 patients. Such data was integrated with geospatial data found in 13 sub-districts in Tangerang City. The prediction of the spread of confirmed Covid-19 cases was made by using Linear Regression model. The results of the MAPE calculation with a value below 10% in 13 districts resulted in a very good predictive value. This prediction resulted in a graph and was connected to each other in a thematic map coordinate point system. The results of the Covid-19 spread prediction were divided into several districts and indicated with different color variations. Therefore, the darker the resulting color on the thematic map visualization, indicates an increase in Covid-19 cases that have occurred. © 2021 IEEE.

YOLOS-MCI: Automating Microservices Coupling Index Calculation using Vision Transformers

Microservice Architectures (MSA) provide flexibility and scalability in software development. However, accurately measuring the level of interdependence among Microservices continues to be a difficult task. Precisely evaluating this connection is essential for efficient MSA design, maintenance, and future development. Conventional techniques for assessing Microservice coupling are frequently done by hand, require a significant amount of time, and are susceptible to mistakes. This impedes the capacity to make well-informed judgments regarding the integration and adjustment of services. This study introduces a new method for automating the computation of the Microservice Coupling Index (MCI) by utilizing the You Only Look at One Sequence (YOLOS) object identification technique in combination with Vision Transformer (ViTs) technology. YOLOS is utilized for identifying constituents within Unified Modeling Language (UML) Component Diagrams, facilitating precise classification and effective assessment of coupling. The model exhibits varying performance over multiple Intersection over Union (IoU) thresholds and object sizes, with an average precision (AP) of 0.406 over IoU values ranging from 0.50 to 0.95. The maximum precision is achieved at an IoU of 0.50, with an AP of 0.709. The model demonstrates good performance in identifying smaller components, especially when evaluated at a 0.75 IoU threshold. However, it faces challenges in detecting small items, suggesting potential areas for improvement in future iterations. Initial results indicate that this automation greatly decreases the need for manual, labor-intensive tasks and enhances the precision of measuring coupling in MSA, hence facilitating effective decision-making in service integration and modification. Automating the computation of the coupling index has the potential to significantly influence the design and management of durable and readily controllable microservice architectures.

This research is ongoing research into the student learning process which aims to develop artificial intelligence-based technology to calculate essay exam scores automatically, based on the textual proximity of students' answers to the answer key. This research uses an approach based on natural language processing (NLP) and text analysis. Feature extraction was carried out using the BERT model and similarity comparison using the Cosine distance method. Model evaluation was carried out using sensitivity and specificity tests. The model evaluation results show a sensitivity of 98.21%, which means this assessment model is able to detect positive cases well. © 2023 IEEE.

Capital market transactions provide an opportunity for investors to acquire ownership of company shares and capital gains, as well as dividends. However, alongside the benefits, there are risks of capital loss and liquidation, leading to stress and depression due to profit targets and decision-making errors. To mitigate the risk of decision-making errors in investment, data analysis is needed, including sentiment analysis, which influences stock prices. This study aims to develop a new deep learning model to classify Indonesian public opinion on JCI stocks, especially the Energy sector, obtained from the Twitter social media platform. The model will perform sentiment analysis and categorize opinions as negative, neutral, or positive. We created a dataset that was trained using Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) to summarize the analysis of public sentiment above so that it can assist investors in studying public sentiment as a reference for investing with a yield precision of 76%, Recall of 77%, and F1-score on 76%. © 2023 IEEE.

The increasing number of articles available in the digital library will require quite a long time and accuracy in sorting articles according to needs. The use of artificial neural networks in finding the right articles as needed through topic segmentation applications will helps this process in terms of speed and accuracy. Several neural network models used in segmentation topic applications include Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The Transformer model since its introduction in 2017 for Natural Language Processing (NLP) has a better level of accuracy compared to the RNN, CNN and LSTM models. Transformer model research for segmentation topic applications, especially articles in Indonesian language, is still very limited. This paper will discuss the use of the Transformer model in segmentation topic applications for Indonesian-language articles. The experimental results found that the accuracy produced by the Transformer model was higher than previous LSTM model with the WindowDiff value generated by the model proposed using Transformer is 0.249 and the LSTM baseline model is 0.363, while the while the Pk value generated by the proposed model is 0.279 and the LSTM baseline model is 0.394.

The proliferation of data has become an inevitable consequence of the digital age as individuals across all domains increasingly rely on data for various purposes. Both companies and governments have a significant need for data. However, the sheer volume and complexity of this data, along with the potential risks associated with mishandling it, necessitate the establishment of a framework known as data governance. The primary objective of this research paper is to examine the factors that contribute to the effective implementation and utilization of Data governance. This study employs qualitative methods and adopts a systematic literature review approach to address the research inquiry: “What are the important factors that determine the utilization of data governance technology?” Through the systematic literature review, a total of 41 key factors were identified from 20 research literatures that have been found to significantly impact the effective implementation of data governance. There are thirteen primary technological factors that hold significance in the realm of data governance. These factors encompass technology, application and use, storage of data, sharing, archiving, and preservation, big data algorithmic systems, data flow, deletion, diversity of data, mechanisms, size of data, control, and data integrity.
