Rate control is one of the key factors influencing the multi-view video ***,there is not a rate control algorithm in the existing Joint Multi-view Video Coding *** this paper,an efficient rate control algorithm and a bit allocation strategy for multi-view video coding are *** order to obtain the consistent view quality,a bit allocation model based on the Lagrange optimum algorithm is firstly ***,considering the encoding statistical characteristics of different view types,a view weighting factor is introduced,and it will help improve the precision of bit allocation among *** with the fixed QP control strategy,experiment results show that the proposed algorithm can efficiently control the bit rate and obtain more consistent views,with video visual quality improved.

A Simple Method on Generating any Bi-Photon Superposition State with Linear Optics

We present a simple method on the generation of any bi-photon superposition state using only linear *** this scheme, the input states, a two-mode squeezed state and a bi-photon state, meet on a beam-splitter and the output states are post-selected with two threshold single-photon detectors. We carry out corresponding numerical simulations by accounting for practical experimental conditions, calculating both the Wigner function and the state fidelity of those generated bi-photon superposition states. Our simulation results demonstrate that not only distinct nonclassical characteristics but also very high state fidelities can be achieved even under imperfect experimental conditions.

wireless sensor networks (WSN) are mainly characterized by a potentially large number of distributed sensor nodes which collectively transmit information about sensed events to the sink. In this paper, we present a centralized generating algorithm running at the sink to obtain the distributed wavelet basis in WSN. And on this basis, Wavelet Transform-based Distributed Compressed Sensing (WTDCS) algorithm is proposed to compress and reconstruct sensor observations with spatial correlations. Finally, the analysis of relationship between reconstruction error and energy consumption in WTDCS is carried out by simulation. The results show that WTDCS can achieve high performance in terms of energy and reconstruction accuracy, as compared to conventional distributed wavelet transform algorithm. © 2011 IEEE.

We present an efficient entanglement purification protocol （EPP） with controlled-not （CNOT） gates and linear optics. With the CNOT gates, our EPP can reach a higher fidelity than the conventional one. Moreover, it does not require the fidelity of the initial mixed state to satisfy 1 2. If the initial state is not entangled, it still can be purified. With the linear optics, this protocol can get pure maximally entangled pairs with some probabilities. Meanwhile, it can be used to purify the entanglement between the atomic ensembles in distant locations. This protocol may be useful in long-distance quantum communication.

The proposed trusted network is respond to the increasingly prominent internal network security threats. At present, research on trusted networks focuses on two aspects: pre-network access check and dynamic evaluation after access. The pre-access check considers the integrity of the terminal and uses encryption and authentication methods to achieve it. It is known that there exist two kinds of methods for direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation in the literature: the subspace-based method and the sparsity-based method. However, pervious works reveal that the former method cannot address the case in which the number of signals is larger than that of sensors, whereas the latter one always suffers from the influence of basis mismatch. In this paper, to overcome these two shortcomings, we propose a new method called covariance matrix reconstruction approach (CMRA) for both uniform linear array and sparse linear array. In particular, by exploiting the Toeplitz structure of the covariance matrix of the array output, we formulate a low-rank matrix reconstruction (LRMR) problem for covariance matrix recovery. The nonconvex LRMR problem is then relaxed by replacing the rank norm with the nuclear norm and solved using the optimization toolbox. Next, we retrieve the DOAs from the recovered covariance matrix by using the subspace-based methods and obtain an estimated number of signals as a byproduct. We also provide two algorithm implementations for the LRMR problem based on duality and alternating direction method of multipliers, respectively. It is shown that CMRA can be regarded as an atomic norm minimization model or a gridless version of the sparsity-based methods and can recover more signals than sensors with a well-designed array. Numerical experiments are provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, in comparison with some of the existing methods. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

wireless multimedia sensor networks consist of unattended multimedia nodes with limited storage, energy and computation and communication capabilities. And energy is the most crucial resource for nodes. Clustering technique has been proven to be an effective approach for datagathering in wireless multimedia sensor networks. Therefore, this paper presents a novel clustering mechanism based on image-oriented correlation coefficient to reduce redundancy transmission so as to conserve network energy. And the aim is achieved through taking advantage of the correlation coefficient of captured images and RSSI value of nodes to avoid excessive computation and transmission. Moreover, a new cluster header election method is also presented to make the network's load balance on energy. The simulation results show that the correlation coefficient threshold greatly affects the number and average size of clusters. And compared with another clustering algorithm based on overlapping FoVs, our clustering mechanism is more effective in prolonging network lifetime. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2012.

Opportunistic networks are sparse wireless networks which have no complete path from the source to the destination most of the time. Many applications require the support of delay constrained routing mechanism which can provide acceptable and resilient services in the challenged environments. We proposed Adaptive Seed Spray (ASS) to achieve the delay constraint with low cost in dynamic opportunistic networks. ASS will estimate the routing cost in source node, and use a small number of seed nodes to spray message copies in order to reduce redundant copies. Furthermore, ASS will make spray decisions in relay nodes which have the latest information of the networking conditions. Simulation results have shown that ASS has prominent superiority in routing cost and adaptability, and it is an efficient delay-bounded multi-copy routing protocol for opportunistic networks especially for dynamic conditions. © 2012 Binary Information Press.

Cooperative communications (CC) based on network coding (NC) can significantly increase the capacity of wireless networks. In this paper, we investigate how to apply NC in multi-hop wireless networks with multiple relay nodes and multiple sessions to achieve more practical and general CC based on NC. Based on NC, we consider to jointly optimize relay node selecting, scheduling and flow routing in CC in a multi-hop wireless network. We not only construct a mathematical model but also formulate a maximum-minimum (Max-Min) optimization problem for it. Then we reformulate and solve it with CPLEX. Through simulation, we validate that the achieved rate gain by NC can be greatly improved than the one by CC. © 2020 IEEE.

Analyzing the influence on traffic flow at intersection according to the driving characteristics of modern tram with different lane layout types. Proposing a method of dynamic priority algorithm (DPA) based on the idea of multiple attribute decision making (MADM) to analyze intersection delay. The VAP module based on MATlab in Vissim is used to simulate the induction control of the modern tram through the concrete intersection, mainly analyzing delay of the intersection with different lane layout types of modern trams. Taking the intersection of Middle Jiangdong Road and Hexi Avenue in Nanjing as an example, the traffic delay caused by different lane layout of modern tram is analyzed by using absolute priority and dynamic priority algorithm (DPA) respectively. © 2017 IEEE.
