With the development of web service, more and more attention has been drawn to web service in recent years. However, the damage caused by service security problems is becoming more and more serious nowadays. This paper develops a web service security analysis tool, WSSecTool, which is based on program slicing. This tool includes three modules namely slicing module, safety publishing module and testing module. Slicing module analyzes source codes of web service to generate method dependence graph (MDG). After MDG is generated, the tool slices MDG to detect the unsafe methods and the spread of them. Safety publishing module helps to hide unsafe methods to make them invisible to outer users after publishing. Testing module can test the services published by this tool to validate the correctness and feasibility of our analysis method. The experiments show that our tool is effective and practical. © 2012 IEEE.

In this paper, we propose a robust object tracking algorithm based on SURF. First, we adopt a two-stage matching method to improve the accuracy of SURF matching points. Then a template update method is used to deal with the problem of object appearance change. Next we use matching points between new template and candidate region to locate the initial position of object. As template update and object occlusion will cause the accumulation of tracking errors, therefore, at last fixed template is used to correct object's position. For those frames which have little matching points, we use Meanshift instead of SURF to track object. The experiments demonstrate that our work is robust and can track object accurately in complex environments.

With the previous method based on the signal strength of the three-beam interference source [1], after studying and deriving the antenna gain pointing model, this paper proposes a single-star interference source localization method based on the signal strength of the four-beam interference source. As for solving the nonlinear directional equations, this paper proposes an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm to obtain its numerical solution, which is compared with the previous ordinary particle swarm optimization algorithm [2]. Then, using the least square method, the multi-group data is used to determine the interference source with the smallest error. First orientation and then positioning. After the simulation test of the proposed positioning method, the feasibility of the algorithm for positioning is proved. The method proposed in this paper is compared with the previous positioning method to prove the robustness of the algorithm. © 2021, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

The main study of traditional probability coverage problem in wireless sensor networks(WSNs) is aiming at twodimensional space, however, most practical applications of wireless sensor network is placed in a three-dimensional sensor networks. Therefore, probability model is introduced for three-dimensional WSNs. This paper presents a method that using Voronoi divide to control the Scheduling of the probability model nodes in the target area. Also, a coverage control algorithm based on probability model(PMCCA) is proposed. We verify the effectiveness and the practice of PMCCA algorithm by comparing PMCCA algorithm to another algorithm in simulation experiment.

This paper studies the system performance of a multiuser dual-hop satellite relaying network where the threshold-based decode-and-forward (DF) is adopted at the relay. Specifically, we can first get the maximum signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) formula of the satellite relaying network. Then, by supposing that both of the uplink and downlink channels are submitted to Shadowed-Rician (SR) fading, the exact expression for the system outage probability (SOP) of the satellite relaying network is derived. Moreover, we also obtain the asymptotic SOP with a high-SNR to provide more insight into the performance in terms of coding gain and diversity order. Finally, numerical examples not only demonstrate the correctness of the performance analysis, but show the impacts of the system parameters on the SOP of the satellite relaying network. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Association rule analysis, as one of the significant means of data mining, plays an important role in discovering the implicit knowledge in massive transaction data. Aiming at the inherent defects of the classic Apriori algorithm, this paper proposes IAPS (Improved Apriori with Prejudging and Screening) algorithm. IAPS algorithm adds a prejudging and screening procedure on the basis of the self-join and pruning progress in Apriori algorithm which can reduce and optimize the k-frequent item sets using prior probability. IAPS algorithm simplifies the operation process of mining frequent item sets. Experimental results show that the improved algorithm can effectively reduce the number of scanning databases and reduce the running time of the algorithm. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2017.

Proxy re-signature is proposed by Blaze, Blemmer and Strauss (BBS), in which a semi-trusted proxy acts as a translator converts a signature from Alice into a signature from Bob on the same message. Proxy re-signature is a very useful tool for the interoperable DRM architecture and the proof of passed path in cloud computing. However, cloud users usually are mobile devices which are constrained with processing and power limitations. When a mobile user obtain the converted signature from the proxy (cloud server), it still can not verify it due to the heavy computation cost. We propose a new definition of server-aided verification proxy re-signature which consist of a proxy re-signature scheme and a server-aided verification protocol. With the server-aided verification protocol, some computational tasks for a proxy re-signature verification are carried out by the proxy (cloud server), which is generally untrusted, therefore, it is very useful for mobile devices. We present, on the basis of Ateniese and Hohenberger's unidirectional proxy re-signature scheme, two novel existential unforgeability server-aided verification proxy re-signature schemes.

Influence of oceanic turbulence on propagation of Airy vortex beam carrying orbital angular momentum

With Rytov approximation theory, we derive the analytic expression of de- tection probability of Airy vortex beam carrying orbital angular momentum (OAM) through an anisotropic weak oceanic turbulence. We investigate the influences of turbulence parameters and beam parameters on the propagation properties of Airy-OAM beam. The numerical simulation results show that the anisotropic oceanic turbulence with a lower dissipation rate of temperature vari- ance, smaller ratio of temperature and salinity contributions to the refractive index spectrum, higher dissipation rate of kinetic energy per unit mass of fluid, bigger inner scale factor, larger anisotropic coefficient causes the larger detection probability of Airy-OAM beam. Moreover, the Airy-OAM beam with a smaller topological charge, larger main ring radius and longer wavelength, has strong resistance to oceanic turbulent interference. Additionally, the detection proba- bility decreases with the increase of receiving aperture size. In comparison with Laguerre-Gaussian-OAM beam, Airy-OAM beam has more anti-interference to turbulence when its topological charge is larger than 5 due to its non-diffraction and self-healing characteristics. Deep Learning Empowered Real-Time Haptic communications for IoT

The advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) has enabled a variety of innovative consumer electronics applications. In particular, multi-modal applications integrating audio, video, and haptic interactions have emerged, offering users more immersive experiences and enhanced remote interaction capabilities. However, the distributed and fragmented nature of IoT network resources presents significant challenges for ensuring haptic communications under strict constraints. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a joint coding and network resource scheduling solution for haptic communications in IoT environments. First, we design a scalable and flexible haptic coding scheme that supports efficient and seamless haptic streaming across heterogeneous IoT networks. Second, we introduce a deep learning-based imperceptible Quality of Experience (QoE) recognition method, which uses emotional immersion as an evaluation metric to achieve unobtrusive QoE monitoring. Finally, based on user QoE feedback, we develop an on-demand cooperative network resource scheduling strategy to ensure high QoE, reduce network resource wastage, and optimize the utilization of fragmented IoT resources. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture and strategies. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

With the rise of the Internet of Everything, machine-type wireless video applications like intelligent surveillance are increasingly becoming mainstream network services. However, the massive transmission of video streams heavily burdens wireless networks. Existing methods typically establish a correlation between the transmitted content and the quality of experience or service, making it challenging to balance trade-offs among decision quality, bandwidth utilization, and latency requirements. To address this issue fundamentally, this paper proposes a novel perspective by designing wireless video transmission strategies from the angle of decision quality, where only the content that impacts the decision outcomes is transmitted. The highlight of this paper is designing a lightweight yet efficient binary classifier that predicts whether the current content will change decision outcomes based on content discrepancies, measured only through pixel-level differences and macroblock-level similarity. Furthermore, these discrepancies can be used to distinguish the background, thereby further saving bandwidth by reusing the background information. Additionally, a fine-tuning module is incorporated to flexibly update the classifier model, ensuring adaptability across various scenarios. Extensive results demonstrate that the proposed strategy achieves over 81% redundant bandwidth savings while maintaining decision quality and catering to strict latency requirements on computation-constrained devices. © 2024 IEEE.
