Inventory management in the health sector, specifically in the pharmaceutical service, represents a high percentage of logistics costs, putting pressure on health institutions to optimize inventory management to guarantee the availability of supplies. On the other hand, different regulations worldwide establish the adoption of mechanisms and policies for adequate inventory management, a situation that in low- and middle-income countries is restricted by resource limitations and the low implementation of robust techniques and methodologies. Different applications of models for inventory management have been identified in the literature, such as optimization models, Lean tools, and multicriteria decision-making methods. However, integrated approaches to optimize demand management, ordering, and controlling pharmaceutical services supplies are still under development. Therefore, the present study proposes a three-phase hybrid approach based on MCDM techniques and data analytics to improve inventory management of the pharmaceutical service in a health research center. The first stage consisted of characterizing the process to identify aspects for improvement. In the second stage, a multicriteria ABC classification model based on F-AHP and TOPSIS was applied to classify laboratory supplies for three selected clinical studies. Furthermore, the appropriate forecasting method was chosen for each clinical study, and a combined model (P model and FEFO model) was applied to establish the reorder point. Then, strategies, mechanisms, and policies were proposed to improve inventory management and redesign the process flow. As the main results, a multicriteria ABC method was obtained to classify laboratory supplies, taking into account Rotation (GW = 0.512), Criticality (GW = 0.286), and Availability (GW = 0.203). On the other hand, through data analysis and regression models, the exponential smoothing model with α = 0.10 was identified as the most convenient forecasting model, as

Governments seek to implement digital transformation initiatives to improve the effectiveness of their public services. To achieve this, governments need to assess their IT environment and evaluate their digital maturity. The conventional digital maturity assessment frameworks, mainly constructed by consulting firms, often fail when applied to the public sector due to the differences between the business and government sectors in terms of their operational missions and activities. Therefore, a maturity assessment framework that accommodates the unique requirements of governments and their operating environments is necessary. The novelty of this research lies in its contribution to digital transformation in the public sector by presenting a framework specifically designed to assess the digital transformation maturity of government organizations. This research is based on analyzing the factors of maturity assessment models developed by industry leaders from three leading global consulting firms. Insights from the academic literature on these factors were extracted, and a comprehensive survey was conducted with 88 IT experts from government institutes across six countries to ensure their relevance and applicability in real-world government settings. In this research, we tested our hypothesis on whether there is a significant relationship between the importance of digital transformation factors and their implementation. The analysis indicated that there is no strong statistical relationship between the importance of digital transformation maturity factors and their implementation. The framework helps assess digital maturity and supports the formulation of effective strategies to drive successful digital transformation initiatives in government. © 2013 IEEE.

The industry is rapidly transitioning from the 4.0 era to the 5.0 era, prompting renewed interest among scholars in scheduling problems. They allow operations to process and assemble various components simultaneously. This bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of the diverse research perspectives on the potential challenges of integrated scheduling within the framework. We identified 357 Scopus articles and analysed co-occurrence keyword (CNK) by VOSViewer tools and Global Citation Score (GCS) by Scopus tools. The research data obtained from 1993 to 2023 mainly in the subject areas of Engineering, computer Science, Maths, and others. CNK identified six cluster keywords, and nine most cited articles based on normalised GCS. These results contribute to our understanding of the development of scheduling algorithms, shifting from an emphasis on manufacturing transfers to contemporary demand-centric research directions. Furthermore, this research provides a valuable perspective for policymakers, plant personnel, and manufacturing managers to make informed decisions. © 2025 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

The present study explores into the relationships between authentic leadership, employee well-being, and AI experience among white-collar workers in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. The study employs a cross-sectional survey and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to reveal that authentic leadership significantly enhances employee well-being, subsequently leading to positive interactions between employees and AI systems. The relationship between authentic leadership and AI experience is partially mediated by employee well-being, demonstrating the significance of leadership qualities like transparency, integrity, and self-awareness in creating a supportive organizational culture. The findings highlight the importance of initiatives focused on employees, such as mental health support and work-life balance, in facilitating AI adoption. However, the study also highlights certain limitations, including geographic and methodological constraints. Future investigations should broaden their scope to encompass various contexts, utilize longitudinal methodologies, and integrate supplementary elements such as technological infrastructure and user perspectives to enhance comprehension. These insights contribute to the growing discourse on leadership, well-being, and technology integration in modern workplaces.

This study addresses the Testing Facility Location with Constrained Queue Time Problem. This optimization problem focuses on determining the best places to deploy testing sites and their available testers for infectious diseases, while constraining the maximum time in the queue with a given probability. An integer programming model is introduced and applied to the three biggest counties, in terms of population, of Florida, United States. Moreover, the Monte Carlo method is used to evaluate the model's output, aiming to check if the queueing time constraint is being satisfied. Through the experiments, a testing facility deployment plan can be determined for each county and further validated by the simulation. The results show that the solutions returned by the model behaved successfully when submitted to the Monte Carlo method, not exceeding the time in the queue in more than the predefined probability.

This paper makes four scientific contributions to the area of misinformation detection and analysis on digital platforms, with a specific focus on investigating how conspiracy theories, fake remedies, and false reports emerge, propagate, and shape public perceptions in the context of COVID-19. A dataset of 5,614 posts on the internet that contained misinformation about COVID-19 was used for this study. These posts were published in 2020 on 427 online sources (such as social media platforms, news channels, and online blogs) from 193 countries and in 49 languages. First, this paper presents a structured, three-tier analytical framework that investigates how multiple motives - including fear, politics, and profit - can lead to a misleading claim. Second, it emphasizes the importance of narrative structures, systematically identifying and quantifying the thematic elements that drive conspiracy theories, fake remedies, and false reports. Third, it presents a comprehensive analysis of different sources of misinformation, highlighting the varied roles played by individuals, state-based organizations, media outlets, and other sources. Finally, it discusses multiple potential implications of these findings for public policy and health communication, illustrating how insights gained from motive, narrative, and source analyses can guide more targeted interventions in the context of misinformation detection on digital platforms. © 2025, CC BY.

This study aims to evaluate the performance of implementation results of the accounting information system application named 'Aplikasi POS Kuliner UKM' which has been specially built for restaurant SMEs in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (JABODETABEK) over two years of development and implementation. From 179 restaurants in JABODETABEK surveyed at system requirements analysis stage, 15 restaurant SMEs selected for the implementation phase, but has yet to be evaluated. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the utilization of 'Aplikasi POS Kuliner UKM' by selected restaurant SMEs to understand the shortcomings and conformity with the user requirements. This evaluation is measured using descriptive statistics, paired sample t-test, and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. Results from paired sample t-test shows that already fit between the expectations and reality. Evaluation results using IPA known indicators that must be corrected, maintained, and ignored, it is also known that the performance of AIS already exceed consumer expectations on average. Additional survey results shows that the AIS has good facilities and satisfactory application performance. © 2017 IEEE.

Monetary authorities globally have studied central bank digital currency (CBDC) for wholesale and retail applications since the 1990s. Besides countering private cryptocurrencies' influence, central banks have also explored other benefits of CBDC, such as improving their financial oversight, enhancing digital payment systems, and reducing transaction fees and friction. For several years, the Bank of Thailand has also invested in research and development of CBDC, including retail use cases. However, an optimized design for an official launch of a retail CBDC in Thailand has yet to be determined, resembling fragmented progress observed among other central banks. This research has leveraged disruptive innovation theory to provide a fresh perspective on retail CBDC as potentially disruptive financial innovations. Additionally, it has proposed an open innovation-based methodology to determine industry preferences concerning twelve design considerations for retail CBDC and their impact on nine indicators of disruptive innovation. Data has been collected and analyzed from 98 respondents outside the Bank of Thailand, all possessing relevant expertise or experience in electronic payments. Crosstab and logistic regression analyses have indicated that retail CBDC in Thailand could embark on a disruptive innovation trajectory by adhering to defined design choices. Significantly, entering a new detached market has been identified as the most promising entry point, accompanied by explicit recommendations on nine out of twelve design considerations. © 2025 The Authors

This study expects to systemically review the current investigations on the relationship of people analytics adoption to support higher education's competitive advantage. Through a systematic literature review, with the help of Publish or Perish v8 Software, the assessment chose 19 papers, then played out a descriptive analysis of the writing to address the accompanying exploration questions: 1) what people analytics implies and its significance, and 2) what can People Analytics give to higher education competitive advantage? Researchers did a far-reaching writing audit investigation to accomplish the referenced targets of the paper. Given the examination, the adoption of people analytics to support higher education competitive advantage centers around instructing and learning investigation. The level of analytics is used primarily in the descriptive and diagnostics area. The predictive and prescriptive analytics were not much discussed. The empirical papers of this people analytics range from subject matters to data storage in the library business unit. The competitive advantages were mainly discussed regarding students' specific academic prescription to career paths in higher education. © 2022 IEEE.
