Liquidity Commonality Effect in Stock Market and Risk Correlation from the Perspective of Complex Network

This paper uses a complex network method to study the liquidity changes and liquidity commonality effects of the Chinese stock market in the two crises of 2015 and 2020. Liquidity indicator and liquidity commonality indicator-the average weighted degree are calculated to revel the risk characteristic of the two crisis. By comparing the two crisis, main conclusions are obtained: Highly leveraged transactions and excess macro-liquidity may lead to the good liquidity condition and the stronger commonality effect in 2015; Besides, the average weighted degree better reflects the systemic risks in a way of revealing the liquidity risk faced by the system.

ER: Equivariance Regularizer for knowledge Graph Completion

Tensor factorization and distanced based models play important roles in knowledge graph completion (KGC). However, the relational matrices in KGC methods often induce a high model complexity, bearing a high risk of overfitting. As a remedy, researchers propose a variety of different regularizers such as the tensor nuclear norm regularizer. Our motivation is based on the observation that the previous work only focuses on the "size" of the parametric space, while leaving the implicit semantic information widely untouched. To address this issue, we propose a new regularizer, namely, Equivariance Regularizer (ER), which can suppress overfitting by leveraging the implicit semantic information. Specifically, ER can enhance the generalization ability of the model by employing the semantic equivariance between the head and tail entities. Moreover, it is a generic solution for both distance based models and tensor factorization based models. The experimental results indicate a clear and substantial improvement over the state-of-the-art relation prediction methods. © 2022, CC BY.

knowledge graph (KG) embeddings have shown great power in learning representations of entities and relations for link prediction tasks. Previous work usually embeds KGs into a single geometric space such as Euclidean space (zero curved), hyperbolic space (negatively curved) or hyperspherical space (positively curved) to maintain their specific geometric structures (e.g., chain, hierarchy and ring structures). However, the topological structure of KGs appears to be complicated, since it may contain multiple types of geometric structures simultaneously. Therefore, embedding KGs in a single space, no matter the Euclidean space, hyperbolic space or hyperspheric space, cannot capture the complex structures of KGs accurately. To overcome this challenge, we propose Geometry Interaction knowledge graph Embeddings (GIE), which learns spatial structures interactively between the Euclidean, hyperbolic and hyperspherical spaces. Theoretically, our proposed GIE can capture a richer set of relational information, model key inference patterns, and enable expressive semantic matching across entities. Experimental results on three well-established knowledge graph completion benchmarks show that our GIE achieves the state-of-the-art performance with fewer parameters. © 2022, CC BY.

Credit and guarantee insurance: A consistent pricing approach in supply chain finance

Credit insurance is a new loan guarantee contract which can effectively stimulate domestic demand and promote consumption. According to different modes of payment, individual credit loan guarantees mainly include credit insurance and guarantee insurance. In this paper, we apply the Complete Information Game to analyze the strategies of the insured subject and the risk subject under different scenarios of personal loan guarantee, and obtain the influencing factors of each decision-making subject in supply chain finance. The conclusion shows that the credit status of individual loan applicants greatly affects the decision-making of supply chain financial entities such as banks. Based on this, this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions for the credit insurance business management.

China’s grain science and technology policies have played an important role in the development of China’s food *** paper aims to examine the effects of China’s grain science and technology policies on food *** quantitatively assesses China’s food security by analyzing the main contents and development trends of China’s food science technology policies through the text metrology method,and then investigates the effects of grain science and technology policies on food security by employing a provincial dynamic panel *** results show that food security in China is all-round developed,and that the release frequency and cumulative effect of grain science and technology policies play a significant role in promoting food *** grain science and technology policies can effectively guarantee China’s food security.

Sparse and Semi-Attention Guided Faults Diagnosis Approach for Distributed Online Services

The booming popularity and indispensability of online service in daily life claims a higher requirement to its reliability and stability. Therefore, key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of these systems, e.g., CPU utilization, network traffic, and average response time, are then recorded chronologically as multivariate time series for anomaly detection and diagnosis. Due to the complex patterns and unusual faults embedded in KPIs, a collection of unsupervised reconstruction approaches have been designed to learn representations from normal samples and pinpoint anomalous behavior in real- time sequences. However, under such a challenging setting, advanced reconstruction networks may fall into identity shortcut, where anomalous samples also can be well recovered, and hence escape from anomaly detection. To tackle this obstacle, in this paper, we propose a lightweight end-to-end fault diagnosis framework based on sequences reconstruction, called Sparse Semi-Attention (SS- Attention) model, which could quickly and accurately reconstruct the normal KPIs while spot the anomalous ones. Extensive empirical studies on three public online service datasets demonstrate the SS-Attention model can outperform state-of-the-art benchmark methods in fault detection and localization, achieving an average 95.91% F1-Score with an approx. 34.48% economy of training time. Based on the authors’ previous work on the research on the evaluation of artificial intelligence (AI) intelligence quotient and the Standard Intelligent Model, this paper proposes three laws of intelligence for interpreting the concepts of intelligence, wisdom, consciousness, life and non-life. The first law is called "M Law of Intelligence" where any Agent can be regarded as a system that has the abilities to input, output, storage (master) and creative (innovate) knowledge. The second law is called "Ω Law of Intelligence" in which any Agent is affected by new "forces" FΩ and Fα derived in this paper, which evolve to Ωpoint whose knowledge processing ability is infinite, or converge to αpoint whose knowledge processing ability is zero. The third law is called "Α Law of Intelligence", that is, when an Agent changes surrounding αpoint, the entire Universe relative to the Agent will also change between infinity and zero. The Three Laws need to be validated by a biochemical experiment method, an AI system intelligence evaluation experiment method or the computer program simulation experiment method. © 2020, Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

Multi-attribute decision-making problem (MADM) is a kind of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM), which is often used to solve decision-making problems where the decision variables are discrete and the number of decision-making schemes is limited. This paper reviews the basic definition of multi-attribute decision making (MADM) through the performance evaluation of science and technology funds in a city, and then deduces the TODIM decision making method and TOPSIS decision making method in detail. Finally, the clue case is decided by combining these two decision making methods. This paper specifically shows the usage scenarios and limitations of the TODIM decision method and the TOPSIS decision method through the clue case, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods through the comparison of the two methods, and puts forward suggestions for the clue case based on the results of the two schemes.

Review of monopoly models and implications for antitrust

In February 2021, the Ministry of Commerce Anti-monopoly Bureau of the People’s Republic of China released the Antitrust Guidelines for the Platform Economy Industry. This announcement signaled more governmental supervision and governance with Internet-related business. In practice, tech giants have been suffering administrative penalties one after another. This study presents a review and analysis of the research literature on the monopoly quantitative models, outlining the components and concluding the implications for anti-monopoly. This paper delineates three main research topics relating to the monopoly models within the literature: the oligopoly, monopolistic competition, and Internet platform monopoly. The Cournot model, Bertrand model, Stackelberg model, and Innovational model represent the oligopoly studies when a small group of large sellers dominates the market. We then discuss the monopolistic competition models as the Krugman model, D-S Model, and Lancaster Model. We pay particular attention to the platform economy to reflect the new era of monopoly with Marshall’s Dilemma. After the summary and comparison of the literature research trajectory, our analysis culminates in implications for antitrust: why Internet corporations and government meet this monopoly predicament, who are involved by monopoly policy, how consumers and market got impacted, and what countermeasures could be taken to improve the antitrust. This study contributes to overview the development of monopoly models and critically analyze based on the current antitrust situation and trend of platform economy integration. We should scrutinize the feasibility to adopt engrain view of monopoly mechanisms as benefit loss on the information technology economy. Therefore, this research raises the novel question and synergistic effects of monopoly.
