The lack of highway shading panels poses a major hidden danger to driving safety. It is urgent to study a method that can automatically detect the disease of the anti-glare panel and provide help for the maintenance of traffic safety auxiliary facilities. In the method for identifying the absence of shading panels on highways based on deep convolutional image segmentation and correction, the Pointrend model based on deep convolutional networks (CNN) is first used to achieve the pixel-level fine segmentation of the shading plate area, and then the multiple images in the same image are segmented. A shading plate area, on the largest outer polygon estimated by the convex hull algorithm, the optimal outer quadrilateral is determined according to the distance between the vertices, and then the shading plate area correction is completed by affine transformation, and finally through the image one-dimensional projection mapping and adjacent shading The distance correlation between the boards realizes the identification and positioning of the missing light-shielding board. The highway shading plate missing recognition method based on deep convolution image segmentation and correction uses the vertex distance to quickly determine the external quadrilateral, which is suitable for estimating the shape of the area in a dynamic scene. After actual testing and verification, it can accurately and efficiently identify the disease of the anti-glare plate. Compared with traditional image segmentation methods, the method using the Pointrend target segmentation model has better segmentation quality for target details, and it is more robust when dealing with background interference. © 2022 IEEE.

during the progression from Hold By Production to infill drilling, operators usually encounter the frac hits and cause communication between parent and infill wells. Well communication is often detrimental to both parent and infill wells. However, the mechanisms of frac hits have not been thoroughly studied. Hence, to optimize parent-infill well development, we will study fracture propagation in infill wells and investigate frac hits between infill and parent wells. We have developed an efficient coupled fluid flow and geomechanics model to characterize stress change in reservoirs with complex fracture geometry. The reservoir geomechanics model will be used to characterize spatial and temporal evolution of stress state due to depletion of the parent well. Based on updated heterogeneous reservoir stress state, an in-house hydraulic fracture model is used to simulate dynamic fracture propagation in infill wells and investigate frac hits. The results indicate that an unfavorable fracture geometry is generated in infill wells. Pressure sink induced by depletion decreases the magnitude of reservoir principle stresses. Hence, fractures in the infill well tend to propagate toward the depleted region of the parent well and generate an unsymmetrical fracture geometry in the two sides of the infill well, resulting in fracture hits. Furthermore, pressure sink also changes the orientation of principle stresses, which induce fractures in the infill well changing propagation direction and hitting pre-existing fractures in the parent well. This paper will help understand mechanisms of parent well production loss and lower-than-expected production rate of infill wells. This work can also provide critical insights to mitigating frac hits for parent-infill well development and well spacing optimization. Copyright 2019 ArMA, American rock Mechanics Association.

The cushion gas is indispensable to maintain the reservoir pressure, prevent the water intrusion and ensure the stability of underground gas storage (UGS). Considering the good thermodynamic properties, economic benefit and carbon storage, CO2 is the ideal option for the cushion gas. However, it is inevitable that the cushion will mix with the working gas during the operation of gas storage, which reduces the thermal enthalpy and even changes the pressure dynamics of the reservoir. It is important to research how to control the injection of CO2 to operate the UGS *** paper demonstrates the feasibility of CO2 as the cushion gas and develops an operation strategy for aquifer UGS. The numerical simulation method with consideration of the effect of the dissolution of CO2 in water and the diffusion between the gases is adopted to model the injection and production process of UGS with CO2 as cushion gas. Firstly, the feasibility of CO2 is demonstrated through the analyses of physical properties and mixing characteristics of CO2 and CH4. Then, the dynamics of UGS is analyzed and the influential factors are discussed. Eventually, the optimum operation strategy is recommended. This work can provides a better understanding of the dynamics of UGS and a scientific basis for the efficient operation of gas storage and production. This paper demonstrates the feasibility of CO2 as the cushion gas, and develops an operation strategy for aquifer UGS, which provides a scientific basis for the efficient operation of gas storage. © 2019 Carbon Management technology Conference 2019, CMTC 2019. due to small hole roar, most of low-permeability gas reservoirs are water wetting, and the capillary effect is very prominent, resulting in water blocking damage in the process of exploitation for natural gas. A new kind of oligomer silicone surfactant (OSSF) was developed, and the physical and chemical properties of oligomer silicone surfactant were evaluated. The experimental results indicated that the critical micelle concentration of OSSF was 0.418×10-3 mol/L, and the critical surface tension of OSSF was 20.631 mN/m. OSSF could be adsorbed directionally at the water-rock pore interface, and the cores adsorbed with OSSF should reverse from water wetting to oil wetting or gas wetting. OSSF had good compatibility with sulphonated polymer mud. OSSF could play an important role in unlocking water blocking damage to increase production and efficiency.

In the process of oil and gas drilling engineering, measurement of downhole parameters while drilling is very important. Especially for the drilling of multi-branch wells and horizontal wells, the downhole condition is more complex, which leads to the increase of the incidence of drilling accidents. Accidents such as damage of drill tools and sticking often occur in the process of oil drilling. The occurrence of these accidents is closely related to the real-time engineering parameters of drilling. Therefore, real-time monitoring of downhole torque, drill-fluid pressure, rotation rate, annular pressure, vibration and other parameters are of great significance for well drilling and the prevent of accidents. Here we developed a kind of near-bit measurement system for dynamic parameters while drilling, which can measure the torque and weight on bit, pressure of drilling mud, rotational speed and triaxial vibration in real time while drilling. real-time analysis of the downhole data can be used to evaluate the performance of the downhole tools and prevent drilling accidents. It is intended to present dynamic model of the drilling system consists of drillstring and drilling fluid. The drillstring is a sequence of Euler-Bernoulli beam elements with some constraints and loads. Its dynamic model is established by using the absolute nodal coordinate formulas (ANCF). The drilling fluid is composed of three sequences of one-dimensional compressible fluid elements. The three sequences represent internal, annulus and under-bit fluid each. The drilling fluid is modeled by using the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) description, where the force of the drillstring acting on the drilling fluid is introduced through the drilling fluid transport motion, meanwhile, the reaction force acting on the drillstring is taken as an external load. The model also considers the boundary conditions in usual drilling engineering at the bit, at the top, at the connection and at the inner surface of the wellbore. Tight and extra-low permeability reservoir was usually explored by use of normal underbalanced drilling if the wellbore is stable and the formation pressure is clear. However, precise underbalanced MPd is the optimal technical solution in case the borehole is unstable and the formation pressure is unclear. Moreover, the precise underbalanced MPd would be effective for reservoir protection, enhancement of hydrocarbon discovery, improvement of rOP as well as reduction of well control risk. No oil and gas show were found by previous conventional drilling in a tight granitic basement of Indonesia. The first exploratory well was planned to explore the broken belt of the basement to discover the oil and gas zone, increase drilling efficiency, prevent lost circulation at crushed zone of the basement and minimize drilling troubles by utilization of precise underbalanced MPd in the potential target zone. Underbalanced MPd was achieved by use of low density water-in-oil drilling fluid, and the bottomhole underbalanced pressure fluctuation was accurately and effectively controlled. Underbalanced MPd operation was smoothly completed. drilling with ignition under balanced managed pressure, connecting triples under balanced managed pressure, and tripping under balanced managed pressure were implemented. Slight under balanced condition of the bottomhole pressure during MPd operation was realized. The backpressure of the wellhead was accurately controlled between 55-135psi during precise MPd operation. 57 times of total accumulate successful ignition lasted 240 hours, which accounts for 80% of the total drilling time. The rate of penetration in tight target granitic formation under balanced drilling was improved and reached 10.8ft/hr. Neither losses nor overflow were detected during underbalanced MPd. In view of the complicated flow mechanism of shale gas flow, multi-scale media and multiple pressure systems of organic matter/inorganic matrix pores/natural fractures and discrete hydraulic fractures are established to accurately describe the gas flow in shale reservoir. The mathematic model considers mechanisms of non-equilibrium desorption of the adsorbed gas, the viscous flow and Knudsen diffusion of the free gas, and the influence of inorganic matrix pores, natural fractures and hydraulic fractures pressure system on shale deformation. A fully coupled solid-fluid coupling model is established, and it is solved with finite element method. It is found from the results that the pressure drop in natural fractures and matrix pores is the main influence factor that causes stress sensitivity during production, and natural fractures play a more important role. With the increase of stimulated reservoir volume, the stress sensitivity is more significant, especially in the early production stage. The proposed fully coupled solid-fluid model of shale gas flow have the ability to study the influence of solid deformation on different pore pressure systems, which consider the non-linear flow mechanisms. The elastic two-phase method, as a way to calculate the geological reserves and technically recoverable reserves within the single-well control range of low-permeability gas reservoir by gas driving, plays an important role in estimating the controlled reserves of exploration wells in the natural gas exploration stage or verifying the reserves of gas reservoirs in the early stage of production. However, the applicable conditions of the commonly used simplified formulas are not defined, which causes deviations in the single-well controlled reserves of gas well. Based on the dimensionless analytical solution of a vertical well in a bounded gas reservoir during the pseudo-steady flow stage, this paper derives and presents in detail the dimensional calculation formulas in the forms of pressure method, pressure square method, pseudo-pressure method and normalized pseudo-pressure method of the elastic two-phase method for gas wells. In addition, the problems and their solutions in the process of formula simplification are analyzed. Finally, comprehensive verification is carried out based on simulation case and field case, respectively. The following results are obtained. First, when the pressure is lower than 20.1 MPa, the gas compressibility factor can be simplified to 1/pi, and the calculation formula of the elastic two-phase method can be simplified. Second, when the pressure is higher than 20.1 MPa, the original pressure should be directly used or the value of the gas compressibility factor under the condition of the maximum pressure should be adopted, or the combination of 1/pi and correction factor should be used. deep saline aquifer is deemed as an effective and promising site for carbon sequestration. A geological storage site must be operated safely;however, CO2 may leak through several pathways, such as fractures, faults and/or improperly plugged wells. This study presents a new analytical model predicting the pressure change in the monitoring well and the leakage rate, caused by an inclined fracture in the caprock, to detect and evaluate the leakage. distinct with previous analytical method, herein we propose a new case of the leakage through the inclined fracture in a closed aquifer system, which expands on earlier work to a wider *** solutions for the injection at a constant rate and the time-dependent leakage through an inclined fracture of caprock are derived with Laplace transform, Fourier cosine transform and duhamel's principle. Then, by meas of the superposition method, the pressure change and the leakage rate with both of the two processes are determined in succession. Based on the above solutions, we discuss the effect of the leakage path and the boundary of the aquifer on the system. At the early stage, the leakage rate increases more rapidly with the smaller radius of the aquifer. Moreover, in the smaller aquifer, the rapid pressure transient results in that the system quickly reach the stable stage. The effect of the inclined fracture on the sytem is embodied in its permeability, location and angle. With higher permeability the leakage rate increases more quickly at early stage and reaches the constant value more quickly at late-time stable stage. The fracture has slight impact on the leakage in the long term. Location of fracture does not affect the leakage rate at rapid increase stage. Leakage rate is larger and increases with smaller distance at transitional stage. With the increase of angle, leakage rate increases at all three stages.
