The conventional lost circulation materials (LCMs) particles of seal in the formation are in linear contact. Therefore, there is no cohesive force interaction, which is susceptible to pressure fluctuations, resulting in lost circulation and control failure. In response to these problems, this paper tested the high-temperature adhesion properties of EVA in the viscous flow transition zone through high-temperature adhesion experiments;then a smart adhesive LCMs is prepared using thermoplastic EVA resin with conventional LCMs;finally, through the high-temperature and high-pressure plugging experiment, the system's performance for sealing fractures was tested. The experiment results show that the smart adhesive LCMs have good plugging performance and can bond LCMs in the fracture to form a high-strength sealing with a pressure-bearing capacity of up to 9.3MPa. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. Coupling Prediction Model and Influencing Factors Analysis of Injection and Production Gas Flow rate and Wellhead Pressure for Compressed Air Energy Storage in Salt Cavern

In order to accurately predict the injection and production gas flow rate and wellhead pressure for compressed air energy storage in salt cavern, a coupled prediction model of injection and production gas flow rate and wellhead pressure based on gas pipe flow theory was established in this paper. And, a high-precision and high-speed iterative solution algorithm was proposed to achieve accurate and rapid prediction of injection and production gas flow rate, wellhead pressure, and total pressure loss. Furthermore, the influences of factors such as cavity connectivity, number of cavities, cavity pressure, depth of injection and production wells, number of injection and production columns, size of injection and production columns, and injection and production medium on injection and production gas flow rate, wellhead pressure, and total pressure loss were discussed. The research results indicate that: ① There are good stability, fast convergence speed, and good consistency between the predicted results and on-site measured data for the model. ② Under the condition that cavity is connected, the total injection production flow rate will be evenly distributed to each injection production well, and the wellhead pressure and total pressure loss of each injection production well are consistent. Under the condition that cavity is not connected, injection production wells with higher cavity pressure have greater injection production gas flow rate and total pressure loss. ③ With the increase in the number of chambers, the decrease in chamber pressure, the increase in injection production well depth, the increase in the number of injection production columns, and the decrease in the size of injection production columns, the single tube injection production gas flow rate decreases. However, the changes in wellhead pressure and total pressure loss are not only influenced by various factors, but also closely related to operating conditions. ④ When other conditions remain unchanged,

With the rapid progression and increasing industrial relevance of cloud computing, the stability of cloud systems has become increasingly critical as they are handling a vast number of requests. To ensure this stability, the operational status of cloud servers, indicated by key performance indicators such as CPU load, network bandwidth, memory allocation, and disk 1/0 operations, must be continuously monitored. Any changes in these metrics could signify potential system malfunctions like network intrusion or hardware faults due to user activities. However, given the cyclical nature of the utilization metrics, which often exhibit, minute, hour, or daily patterns, merely setting thresholds may not effectively detect these anomalous behaviors. To address this, our research capitalizes on the advantages of the Transformer model, incorporating cyclical prior knowledge to extract these periodic patterns from the metrics, thereby enhancing the detection efficacy. Experimental results show that our proposed approach outperforms the Transformer model, improving the anomalous detection accuracy by 1.7 %, with the comprehensive evaluation metric (Fl score) surpassing 0.88.

This paper presents the design and analysis of a magnetic gear reducer with Halbach permanent magnet (PM) arrays developed for downhole electric drilling tools. 2d finite element simulation technology is used to investigate the performance benefits which can be obtained by the coaxial magnetic gears from applying the Halbach PM arrays. It is discovered that using the Halbach PM arrays can improve the radial magnetic field distribution of the air gap of the magnetic gears, increase the air gap flux density harmonics which is used to transfer torque and decrease air gap flux density harmonics undesired. After applying Halbach PM arrays, the output torque density increases by about 37.5%, the total losses of the magnetic gears are reduced by 34.2%, and the cogging torque is reduced by 45%, compared to the traditional design with radial magnetized PMs.

Petroleum and natural gas are pivotal in the energy sector, with drilling as the primary extraction method involving machine-driven drill bits for excavating underground and retrieving resources. Similar to various industrial processes, drilling efficiency is significantly affected by vibration-related issues, influencing petroleum extraction outcomes. To systematically identify vibrations during drilling, we developed a data collection system covering both surface and downhole components. The surface component primarily records parameters observed during drilling, while the downhole part integrates into the drilling tool, positioned near the drill bit to capture three-axis vibration signals. The amalgamation of data from both surface and downhole components facilitates the annotation of harmful vibrations. Using LSTM-FCN, we enhance vibration identification by processing surface and downhole data. Our SampleFusion (SF) algorithm further improves recognition by combining LSTM for surface and FCN for downhole data. This integrated approach enhances real-time monitoring and classification of drilling vibrations, contributing to industry efficiency and safety.

This paper presents a two-stage active-flux observer for sensorless control of permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs) in a case where the inverter output is filtered by a LC filter. First, a full-order active-flux observer is presented taking the LC filter into consideration. Stator voltages, stator currents and the active flux can be observed without additional measurements except the inverter output currents. Then, the feedback matrix of the observer is designed according to the stabilization algorithm, guaranteeing sufficient stability margin and a good performance in a wide-speed range. Based on the full-order observer, a two-stage observer is proposed to reduce the computation burden. Furthermore, an adaptive law is derived for rotor speed estimation. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed observer is verified by comprehensive simulation and experiments.

To prolong the service life and calculate the service time of flexible shaft of titanium alloy, the feasibility of using S-N curve to predict the material life was demonstrated through theoretical derivation. And the S-N curve of fatigue stress was obtained through the ultra-high cycle fatigue test. By using finite element and parameterized method, stress concentration factor under different rounded corners were calculated, stress distribution under different rounded values and bend angles were simulated. The optimal solution of rounded value was calculated. And the optimal solution under different bend angles of safety coefficient was calculated. Though those, the allowable maximum value of the bend angle was determined;And the minimum service time of the flexible shaft under the preferred value was deduced. The fracture mechanics simulation was conducted to calculate the changed law of stress extreme value under different crack depths. The maximum value of crack depth was also calculated. Based on the Paris formula and crack maximum calculation results, the limit cycle times and crack extension rate of the flexible shaft are derived, Consequently, the crack initiation law and service time of flexible shaft of titanium alloy were studied. Field tests and metallographic tests were carried out to verify the correctness of the calculation of crack initiation and propagation law. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

depleted-reservoirs underground gas storage are playing an increasingly important role in seasonal demanding of natural gas, ensuring stable gas supply and strategic reserves. However, due to the physical properties of the reservoir, the problem of sand production in the wellbore cannot be ignored. This research is based on the high-pressure sand production experiment simulation device system. Using the in-situ core, through experiments to simulate the sand production of the high-pressure gas storage reservoir, the sand production is systematically and quantitatively studied. The experimental results show that there are two key pressures for sand production caused by the destruction of the inner wall of the wellbore, namely, the equivalent initial sand production pressure (critical confining pressure) and the strength of the thick-walled barrel (collapse pressure). After the confining pressure exceeds the equivalent initial sand production pressure, the core begins to produce sand, and the sand has a relatively smaller particle size. The sand production is found to increases linearly with the equivalent confining pressure. After the confining pressure exceeds the strength of the thick-walled barrel, the core body is damaged and a large amount of sand is produced. The sand body has a relatively large particle size. The particle size distribution indicates the increase of sand particle size during the sand production of the gas storage well. This experiment provides guidance for the operation and completion of gas storage in depleted oil reservoirs, and also provides a quantitatively experimental method for the study of wellbore sand production. © 2022 ArMA, American rock Mechanics Association.

In-situ SEM can intuitively observe the changes in microstructure and microcrack initiation during the deformation process of the *** this paper,the microstructural evolution,mechanical properties,and damage nucleation modes of dP1180 laser welded joints were systematically discussed by the trans-mission electron microscope(TEM),focused ion beam(FIB),and in-situ tensile *** precipitation of carbides and disappearance of dislocations tangles deteriorated the mechanical properties of tempered martensite in the sub-critical heat affected zone(SCHAZ),which caused its microhardness slightly de-creased(∼27 HV)and also called the softened *** joints fractured in the SCHAZ during the tensile and Erichsen cupping tests and microcracks initiated from the tempered martensite,while the microc-rack initiation of base material(BM)occurred at the ferrite/martensite *** dominant damage nucleation mode of the joint was tempered martensite cracking,and that of BM was ferrite/martensite interface decohesion during tests.

The optimal selection of drilling rigs is crucial for the rational arrangement of drilling rigs in multi operation teams, the improvement of moving operation management level, and the enhancement of drilling operation quality and efficiency. At present, the optimal selection of drilling rigs only considers whether the drilling meets the needs of the drilling project and the moving distance, and cannot comprehensively and scientifically select drilling rigs, which is not conducive to the rational configuration evaluation of oilfield drilling rig operation. This article comprehensively considers key indicators such as drilling efficiency, time efficiency, moving cycle, moving cost, and moving distance, innovatively forms a pentagonal drilling rig optimization coordinate system, establishes drilling rig optimization rate, comprehensive standard deviation, drilling rig optimization comprehensive standard deviation and other indicators, and forms a drilling rig optimization model for drilling. Taking Block B as an example, the priority of Block B with three drilling rigs to be optimized calculated using the model is r1> r2> *** optimal selection rate of drilling r1 is the highest, the comprehensive standard deviation is smaller, and the comprehensive index of the best and more stable drilling performance is the highest, which is 0.0058. Therefore, r1 should be selected for drilling. The drilling rig optimization model proposed in this paper provides a process reference for drilling rig optimization, quantifies various indicators, and provides a theoretical basis for new well drilling rig optimization, project company drilling rig operation plan formulation, and improving project company drilling rig management level. © 2024 IEEE.
