Entity representation learning is both fundamental and crucial for link prediction in knowledge graph. Existing entity representation learning approaches mainly focus on learning from knowledge triples with single modal text data which could only describe the things or concepts in words. However, multimodal data commonly exists in the real worlds and may describe things or concepts from different aspects. Therefore, multimodal entities have emerged in knowledge graph in recent years, which greatly enrich the knowledge graph by different information. This paper focuses on how to learn more robust and comprehensive representations of multimodal entities for better link prediction. A new representation learning method for multimodal entities is proposed, called Graph Attention with Bi-pooling Representation Learning (GBRL), where multimodal fusion and knowledge embedding are combined for learning representations of an entity with consideration of its multimodal neighbors. Firstly, feature vectors are obtained by pre-trained models for each modality. Then, the bilinear pooling is utilized for combining feature vectors of multimodal entities into multimodal feature vectors. A two-layer graph attention module is followed to generate multimodal representations of an entity from its multimodal neighbors. Finally, the inception decoder uses multimodal knowledge embedding to calculate scores for link prediction. The experimental results have shown that the proposed method performs well on link prediction by consideration of multimodal entities comparing with traditional methods that using only single modal text data.

In this paper we propose a non-Markovian quantum channel approach to mitigating the degradation of the average fidelity in continuous-variable quantum teleportation. The non-Markovian quantum channel is modeled by an augmented system where ancillary systems are introduced to represent the internal modes of non-Markovian environments. With a proper non-Markovianity, enhanced effects of the channels on continuous-variable quantum teleportation are observed. Also, the logarithmic negativity of entangled states can be effectively maintained so that the decay of the average fidelity of quantum teleportation is mitigated. In addition, the analysis on different teleported quantum states shows that coherent states exhibit stronger robustness than those of squeezed states and cat states in quantum teleportation with a non-Markovian channel.

Aiming at the problem that automobile assembler need to squat for a long time, a wearable squatting assistance system with low cost, simple control and easy to squat and walk is designed. Based on ergonomics and finite element theory, UG was used to draw a three-dimensional solid model of the wearable squatting power system for automobile assemblers. With the help of ANSYS software, the statics analysis of key components is carried out to check their strength and stiffness. It is concluded that the wearable squatting power assist device for automotive fitters based on ergonomics has reached the design requirements in terms of function use and strength and stiffness. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper, a time-fractional heat conduction model is established to describe the heat transfer process of monocrystalline silicon in the Czochralski method. The numerical solution of the fractional-order model is obtained by using implicit difference scheme. In addition, an improved grey wolf algorithm is proposed to estimate the parameters of the fractional heat conduction model using the experimental temperature data. The numerical experiment results show that the time-fractional heat conduction model has a higher explanatory ability, compared with the classical heat conduction model. The Improved Grey Wolf algorithm proposed in this paper is effective in solving the parameter estimation problem of the time-fractional heat conduction equation.

Learning-based self-driving techniques and vehicle navigation approaches are the most hot topics in recent years. However, existing approaches typically assume the attack-free sensor data, the safety issue under large disturbance or external attack have not been well-solved. In this article, we build a simple FGSM-based attack method designed by minimizing the maximum value of the extracted visual features in order to greatly decrease the performance of the popular learning model for vehicle navigation and even make it totally fail. The proposed min-max operation based feature space attack method solves the problems of branch activation uncertainties and the lack of labels. Furthermore, we also provide a general adversarial training framework which can be used to overcome the proposed feature space attack. Simulational experiments in CARLA platform demonstrate the effectiveness and practical applicability of our attacking approach and defence strategy.

The present paper considers the model-based and data-driven control of unknown linear time-invariant discretetime systems under event-triggering and self-triggering transmission schemes. To this end, we begin by presenting a dynamic event-triggering scheme (ETS) based on periodic sampling, and a discrete-time looped-functional approach, through which a model-based stability condition is derived. Combining the model-based condition with a recent data-based system representation, a data-driven stability criterion in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is established, which also offers a way of co-designing the ETS matrix and the controller. To further alleviate the sampling burden of ETS due to its continuous/periodic detection, a self-triggering scheme (STS) is developed. Leveraging pre-collected input-state data, an algorithm for predicting the next transmission instant is given, while achieving system stability. Finally, numerical simulations showcase the efficacy of ETS and STS in reducing data transmissions as well as of the proposed co-design methods. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

According to the idea of "Emerging engineering Education"talent training model of Ministry of Education, students should be trained to have "metaphysical"concept, connection, imagination, macro thinking. Project-driven experiment teaching focuses on a project, and the goal is the completion of the project;the student is the center of teaching activities, which is supported by the inquiry process. This study analyzes the significance of the project-driven method in experimental teaching. This paper describes the implementation process of experimental teaching in the field of energy and power engineering in terms of project design, teaching system construction and so on under the project-driven method. By analyzing the results of a questionnaire survey distributed to students of energy and power in the College of Mechanical engineering at the Tianjin University of Technology, it is found that the students are satisfied with the effects of project-driven experimental teaching, and the use of experimental teaching has greatly aroused the students' enthusiasm for learning. The ability of the students to engage in autonomous learning, engineering practice and innovation has been greatly improved, and a good teaching effect has been achieved. © 2021 IEEE.

Based on experience of former teaching reformation and philosophy of "Emerging engineering Education", an experimental teaching reformation program that includes restructured knowledge system, modularization of experimental teaching process and diversified evaluation system is proposed. It is found that students have deeper and comprehensive understanding on knowledge and more enthusiasm in experimental process. Finally students have definite self-cognition about their division of labor in teamwork. Through gathering statistics, the effectiveness of reformation program is verified and this program can enrich practical experience of experimental teaching reformation. © 2020 ACM.

With the rapid development and widespread application of Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), IMU-based human localization has become critically important in environments lacking Global Navigation Satellite systems (GNSS) signals. Methods such as UWB/WIFI and other anchor-based localization have been employed to enhance the positioning accuracy. However, these methods are susceptible to the environmental interference and increased costs. In contrast, SINS-based localization methods eliminate reliance on the external data. However, this method can suffer from drift errors due to cumulative integration errors. Inertial navigation error correction techniques like Zero Detection Update Technology (ZUPT) provide potential solutions to address drift errors. This paper proposes an error correction method based on the multithreshold zero-velocity detection and Square Root Cubature Kalman Filter (SRCKF) updates. Compared to the single fixed threshold detection, the multi-threshold zero-velocity detection reduces the likelihood of missed zero velocity detection and false alarms, providing accurate time intervals for error correction. Experimental results demonstrate that the SRCKF-based algorithm reduces position deviation to approximately 0.3146 meters, corresponding to an error ratio of1.14%. The proposed method enables cost-effective and accurate pedestrian localization, driving advancements in the field.
