A covariance adaptive sampling offspring generation strategy (CASS) based on fuzzy clustering is proposed, and a multi-objective distribution estimation algorithm (MEDCA) based on this strategy is introduced. The GK-FCM clustering partitioning strategy is designed to build a Gaussian model for each individual, collectively approximating the manifold of the Pareto solution set and generating offspring through sampling. The introduction of an individual's survival generation adapts the individual's preference for exploration and exploitation. This is achieved by incorporating it as a scaling factor of the covariance matrix in the sampling model, in order to satisfy the individual's preferences for development and exploration in different evolutionary stages. This method significantly improves the performance of MEDCA in solving complex multi-objective optimization problems through covariance matrix adaptation sampling strategy and scaling factor adaptation strategy. The experimental results demonstrate the advantages of MEDCA in the application of offspring generation strategies during model sampling. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper studies the control of chained nonholonomic systems by using smooth time-varying ***,by using a time-varying state transformation,the chained nonholonomic system is transformed into a linear time-varying ***,with the aid of some properties of a class of parametric Lyapunov equations and time-varying systems theory,smooth time-varying state feedback controller is developed to ensure the exponential convergence of both the system states and *** from existing results,the design parameters in the proposed control strategy are independent of the initial conditions of the ***,as an application of the proposed smooth time-varying feedback,the attitude control problem for underactuated axisymmetric spacecraft is ***,a numerical simulation is presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In many real-world applications, decision makers tend to approach a good approximation to the Pareto optimal set (PS) for facilitating their decision making. This is still a challenge for most existing algorithms, particularly when solving multi-objective optimization problems with complicated PS (MOP-CPSs). To address this issue, a dual-clustering search strategy-based evolutionary algorithm has been tailored for handling MOP-CPSs. Two clustering-based operators are proposed to take full advantage of the inherent advantages of clustering techniques in mining the population data structure. Firstly, the local neighborhood relationship of the population is learned in the objective space to enhance the diversity maintenance. Then, these neighborhood relationships are used to construct a mating pool in the decision space to generate offspring, with the purpose of focusing on enhancing the exploitation ability of individuals. The proposed strategy can effectively promote the overall performance in both the decision space and objective space with population iteration. The experimental results on various MOP-CPSs demonstrate that our developed algorithm outperforms several state-of-The-Art multi-objective evolutionary algorithms both competitively and effectively, and shows remark-Able advantages in visualization. © 2023 IEEE.

Fully actuated system approach to attitude control of flexible spacecraft with nonlinear time-varying inertia

A high-order fully actuated(HOFA) system approach is proposed for the attitude control problem of a flexible spacecraft with nonlinear and time-varying inertia. Different from most existing results,the proposed method guarantees a linear time-invariant closed-loop system with arbitrarily assignable eigenvalues. Firstly, the HOFA model for the attitude system is derived from the original dynamic equations of the system by using state transformation and variable elimination. Then, by using the full-actuation characteristics of the obtained HOFA system, the nonlinearity in the system is completely canceled and a linear time-invariant system with arbitrarily assignable eigenvalues is derived. Finally, the control laws are designed for both problems of attitude stabilization and attitude maneuvering, and simulations are carried out based on practical engineering parameters, which demonstrate the effects of the proposed method.

This study is concerned with the output tracking of networked high-order fully actuated(NHOFA) systems subject to input saturation and prescribed performance.A predictive control based constrained control approach is presented to cope with this *** this approach,an incremental HOFA prediction model is constructed via a Diophantine Equation,and then a cost function,considering input saturation and prescribed performance,is optimized by multi-step output prediction,so that an optimal constrained tracking controller is established to satisfy the tracking requirement and given *** analysis presents a simple condition of bounded stability and tracking performance of closed-loop NHOFA systems,which offers a reliable foundation for constrained coordinated control of NHOFA multiagent systems.A numerical simulation of flying-around for air-bearing simulator is shown to prove the feasibility of the proposed approach.

In this paper, a fully-actuated system prescribed performance controller is proposed to achieve attitude tracking control of the combined spacecraft. In order to make the combined spacecraft satisfy the required steady-state and transient performance in the attitude tracking control process, a fully actuated system controller with prescribed performance is proposed. The attitude dynamics model of the combined spacecraft is transformed into a tracking error function. Furthermore, the controller of the fully actuated system is designed according to the error function to realize the attitude tracking control of the combined spacecraft. Lyapunov function is introduced to prove the stability of the system. With the presented way of designing fully actuated system prescribed performance controller, the numerical simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 Technical Committee on control theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

When handling large-scale multi-objective optimization problems, a good diversity maintenance can effectively avoid the population trapping into premature convergence and enhance the utilization of the decision space. However, the recombination operator in the existing multi-objective optimization algorithm is difficult to find the local optimal solution and the global optimal solution in the huge decision space due to the low search efficiency. To get the best trade-off between exploration and exploitation during the evolutionary search process, this paper proposes an elite-guided evolutionary algorithm for large-scale multi-objective optimization. The proposed algorithm adopts a recombination operator with a novel search strategy that explicitly utilizes local similarity neighborhood property between the population in the decision space and the objective space to guide the individuals to generate a diversity approximation of the Pareto front, which can highly promote the search efficiency. The experimental results on a variety of general large-scale benchmark problems demonstrate the competitiveness and effectiveness of the developed algorithm over several state-of-the-art multi-objective evolutionary algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper addresses the problem of tracking control of the generic hypersonic vehicle. In order to facilitate the design of the controller,the input-output linearization of the longitudinal model is established,so as to construct an auxiliary secondorder model based on the tracking error of altitude and velocity. Then,based on the finite-time control method,a fast finite-time sliding mode controller is designed with a development sliding manifold,and the stability of the designed controller is proved by the Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore,to deal with the external disturbance,a finite-time extended state observer(ESO)is proposed. Finally,the numerical simulation is carried out. The simulations show that the proposed control scheme achieves high-precision tracking performance in the presence of disturbances.

This paper studies sequential fusion filters for nonlinear multi-sensor systems with stochastic parameters perturbations, fading measurement and correlated noise. Stochastic parameter perturbations occur in the state model and are represented by Gaussian multiplicative noise. The fading measurement phenomenon of each sensor is represented by independent random variables with known statistical characteristics. Moreover, the measurement noises of different sensors are correlated with each other and are correlated with the system noise at the same time. Firstly, we convert multiplicative noise into additive noise and establish a more compact model equivalent to the original system. Secondly, based on the sequential fusion estimation of system noise, measurement noise and innovation analysis methods, a state sequential fusion filter state estimator is derived to deal with the problems studied in this paper, where the decorrelation of correlated noises is avoided. Then, according to the third-degree spherical-radial cubature rule, the numerical implementation steps of the sequential fusion filter are given. Finally, simulation experiment verify the effectiveness of the sequential fusion filter algorithm proposed in this paper.
