I have studied how artificial intelligence (ai) or machine learning (ML) is applied in a sustainable system called "Eugenie"for my work, project, and thesis. In this project, I get to discuss Eugenie's role in ensuring the sustainability of large environmental business organizations. I also get to discuss how it aids operation managers in making predictions about when their machines will break down days, weeks, and months in advance, allowing them to schedule maintenance cycles more effectively. In other words, Eugenie provides plant operators with data so they can prioritize repairs. Eugenie executes this process by utilizing real-time data from numerous sensors attached to large machinery and equipment in the process industry, metals and mining, oil and gas, and smart cities industries. Two products make up this program;the first is named RAY-FINN and the second is called PAPILLON. Eugenie assists businesses in a variety of ways, including:•aids in the attainment of operational excellence by process organizations•Always raise overall profitability.•Contributes to a greener and safer future. © 2023 IEEE.

The basic goal of the IoT is to permit the online connection and communication of everyday physical objects like appliances, vehicles, and other gadgets. This paves the way for effortless and automated data collection and exchange, as well as interaction between the objects themselves and with humans. The Internet of Everything (IoE) is an expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT) that aims to maximize and improve human life by connecting and making the most of all available resources (humans, information, and technology). The transportation, healthcare, agricultural, energy, and manufacturing sectors are all examples. The IoIT aims to incorporate ai and ML within the IoT's interconnected network of physical items. These objects can then independently behave in response to the information they have gathered and the instructions they have been given. This has the potential to lead to smarter, more efficient systems that can react to new information and human input in real time. The Internet of Things, the Internet of Everything, and the Industrial Internet of Things all have the same overarching goal: to pave the way for the development of more efficient and intelligent systems and processes that can enhance a wide range of human endeavors. However, in order to make sure that these technologies are used in a responsible and ethical way, it will be necessary to carefully analyze their consequences and the issues they provide. © 2023 IEEE.

Wireless sensor networks and green networking have been major research areas in the field of communication technology for the past few decades. In particular, the development of 6G communication systems has brought renewed focus on these areas, as the demands for higher data rates, more diverse applications, and lower energy consumption continue to increase. The use of wireless sensor networks in 6G communication systems has been widely explored in the literature, and has shown great potential for a wide range of applications, including environmental monitoring, industrial process control, and healthcare. However, a key challenge in the deployment of these networks is ensuring their energy efficiency, as the demands on the network will be much higher than in previous generations. To address this challenge, researchers have proposed various green networking techniques, such as energy harvesting and low-power communication protocols, which have been shown to significantly reduce the energy consumption of the sensors. In addition to improving the energy efficiency of wireless sensor networks, researchers have also studied their reliability, scalability, and adaptability. These properties are important in 6G communication systems, as the demands on the network are expected to be much higher than in previous generations. Researchers have proposed various methods to improve the reliability, scalability, and adaptability of wireless sensor networks, including the use of error-correction codes, redundant communication channels, and machine learning algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

Electric power has recently been optimized and witnessed a significant transformation in many aspects to providing sustainable clean, distributed energy for the fast-paced, growing world. Modern technologies such as the internet of things (IoT) technology is at the forefront of this digital revolution. Besides, heterogeneous IoT has enabled and offered a variety of applications in power systems since it has enhanced power efficiency, distribution of energy, especially in rural areas. Furthermore, it has accelerated transmitting and receiving the signals from the main electric power grid to the emergency backup system via a smart WI-FI feedback signal to sustain critical loads such as hospitals, schools, plants, banks, etc., working without interruptible. Also, IoT contributes to increasing the volume of the energy shared. Large Language Models (LLMs) are becoming crucial across various fields, emphasizing the urgency for high-quality models in underrepresented languages. This study explores the unique challenges faced by low-resource languages, such as data scarcity, model selection, evaluation, and computational limitations, with a special focus on Turkish. We conduct an in-depth analysis to evaluate the impact of training strategies, model choices, and data availability on the performance of LLMs designed for underrepresented languages. Our approach includes two methodologies: (i) adapting existing LLMs originally pretrained in English to understand Turkish, and (ii) developing a model from the ground up using Turkish pretraining data, both supplemented with supervised fine-tuning on a novel Turkish instruction-tuning dataset aimed at enhancing reasoning capabilities. The relative performance of these methods is evaluated through the creation of a new leaderboard for Turkish LLMs, featuring benchmarks that assess different reasoning and knowledge skills. Furthermore, we conducted experiments on data and model scaling, both during pretraining and fine-tuning, simultaneously emphasizing the capacity for knowledge transfer across languages and addressing the challenges of catastrophic forgetting encountered during fine-tuning on a different language. Our goal is to offer a detailed guide for advancing the LLM framework in low-resource linguistic contexts, thereby making natural language processing (NLP) benefits more globally accessible. ©2024 Association for Computational Linguistics.

The growth of the internet and technology has had a significant effect on social *** information has become an important research topic due to the massive amount of misinformed content on social *** is very easy for any user to spread misinformation through the ***,misinformation is a problem for professionals,organizers,and ***,it is essential to observe the credibility and validity of the News articles being shared on social *** core challenge is to distinguish the difference between accurate and false *** studies focus on News article content,such as News titles and descriptions,which has limited their ***,there are two ordinarily agreed-upon features of misinformation:first,the title and text of an article,and second,the user *** the case of the News context,we extracted different user engagements with articles,for example,tweets,i.e.,read-only,user retweets,likes,and *** calculate user credibility and combine it with article content with the user’s *** combining both features,we used three Natural language processing(NLP)feature extraction techniques,i.e.,Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency(TF-IDF),Count-Vectorizer(CV),and Hashing-Vectorizer(HV).Then,we applied different machine learning classifiers to classify misinformation as real or ***,we used a Support Vector Machine(SVM),Naive Byes(NB),Random Forest(RF),Decision Tree(DT),Gradient Boosting(GB),and K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN).The proposed method has been tested on a real-world dataset,i.e.,“fakenewsnet”.We refine the fakenewsnet dataset repository according to our required *** dataset contains 23000+articles with millions of user *** highest accuracy score is 93.4%.The proposed model achieves its highest accuracy using count vector features and a random forest *** discoveries confirmed that the proposed classifier would effectively classify misinformat

In a nutshell, the IoT refers to the idea of integrating high-tech technology in the form of "smart"gadgets and sensors into a single setting to gather data. There are still numerous areas in which machines cannot compete favorably with people, but data collection and analysis are undeniably two of their strongest points. The Internet of Things makes it possible to fully or partially automation data, it involves related activities, which is obviously very important for the healthcare industry. What exactly is the Internet connected medical things, and how exactly might it make a significant impact on the sector? By having to apply the concept of the internet of things (IoT) to the field of medicine, several significant advancements have become possible, including the ability to automatically control the thermostat of containers while transmitting inoculations and antibiotics, the accurate tracking of the ailments of a lot of illnesses without a need for additional meetings with a general practitioner, the correct and most useful use of meds, and a great deal more. All of this is realizable because of the capability of MedTech gadgets to carry out continuous monitoring system. The potential applications of internet of things technology in healthcare are very interesting. Let's review the ways in which this technology. © 2023 IEEE.

Drawings are powerful means of pictorial abstraction and communication. Understanding diverse forms of drawings, including digital arts, cartoons, and comics, has been a major problem of interest for the computer vision and computer graphics communities. Although there are large amounts of digitized drawings from comic books and cartoons, they contain vast stylistic variations, which necessitate expensive manual labeling for training domain-specific recognizers. In this work, we show how self-supervised learning, based on a teacher-student network with a modified student network update design, can be used to build face and body detectors. Our setup allows exploiting large amounts of unlabeled data from the target domain when labels are provided for only a small subset of it. We further demonstrate that style transfer can be incorporated into our learning pipeline to bootstrap detectors using a vast amount of out-of-domain labeled images from natural images (i.e., images from the real world). Our combined architecture yields detectors with state-of-the-art (SOTA) and near-SOTA performance using minimal annotation effort. The Covid-19 pandemic, which shook the entire world and altered the dynamics of humanity, resulted in drastic alterations in our life. With the pandemic, human history has understood that the digital world is more important than ever. Existing efforts to digitize pre-pandemic surveys have not entirely replaced face-to-face research. The fundamental issue with online survey platforms can be divided into two categories. It is mostly due to the fact that the particular question types used in practically all research cannot be customized and adjusted using a simple internet program, and certain limited alterations cannot be matched to the research patterns. Second, in addition to the inadequacies of these applications, the online services provided are mainly fee-based programs or applications. The application that is proposed to be established and developed in this context aims to overcome the bottleneck experienced by the end user and to supply the users with high-quality tools that they may use in the global world. © 2023 IEEE.
