Background: In this article, the Mixed Mode Database Miner (MMDBM) algorithm is introduced for the classification of data. This algorithm depends on the decision tree classifier, which handles the numerical and categorical attributes. Aims: Understanding the fundamentals of every classification method and how to apply them to CUDA is the aim of this study. After reviewing the literature, the approach that is most suited is selected for implementing the suggested algorithm in the MMDM classifier along with the discrete wavelet decomposition. From this experimental analysis, we observed that the use of the wavelet technique in the MMDBM algorithm provides better and more accurate results for data classification. Objective: The main objective of the manuscript is to identify the early stage of heart attack that was caused either by smoking, smoking with tobacco, or non-smoking. Additionally, this study aims to check the validity of the MMDM classifier along with the discrete wavelet decomposition. Water vapor is an essential component of the Earth’s atmosphere, and accurate retrieval of precipitable water vapor (PWV) is critical to understanding the Earth’s climate and hydrological cycle. In this study, we use the global Fengyun-3G/Micro-Wave Radiation Imager-Rainfall Mission (FY-3G/MWRI-RM) L1 data from October 2023 to August 2024 to construct a high-precision PWV retrieval model. Three machine learning algorithms are used to construct our models:Random Forests (RF), Light Gradient Boosting Machine (Light GBM), and Gradient Boosting Regression (GBR), due to their ability to handle complex relationships between brightness temperature data and PWV retrieval with high precision. Then, the precision of retrieved PWV is evaluated using the fifth generation of European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts Atmospheric Reanalysis (ERA5) PWV and radiosonde PWV. Light GBM demonstrated the highest accuracy with root-mean-square error (RMSE) of 2.151 mm over the ocean compared to ERA5 PWV, outperforming GBR and RF. RF demonstrated the highest accuracy with RMSE of 2.323 mm over land compared to ERA5 PWV, outperforming Light GBM and GBR. In addition, this study compares the FY-3G/MWRI-RM PWV with advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR2) TPW and AMSR2 PWL. FY-3G/MWRI-RM retrieved PWV demonstrated higher precision compared to AMSR2 water vapor products when validated against ERA5 PWV.
