Prenatal depression,which can affect pregnant women’s physical and psychological health and cause postpartum depression,is increasing ***,it is essential to detect prenatal depression early and conduct an attribution *** studies have used questionnaires to screen for prenatal depression,but the existing methods lack *** diagnose the early signs of prenatal depression and identify the key factors that may lead to prenatal depression from questionnaires,we present the semantically enhanced option embedding(SEOE)model to represent questionnaire *** can quantitatively determine the relationship and patterns between options and *** first quantifies options and resorts them,gathering options with little difference,since Word2Vec is highly dependent on *** resort task is transformed into an optimization problem involving the traveling salesman ***,all questionnaire samples are used to train the options’vector using ***,an LSTM and GRU fused model incorporating the cycle learning rate is constructed to detect whether a pregnant woman is suffering from *** verify the model,we compare it with other deep learning and traditional machine learning *** experiment results show that our proposed model can accurately identify pregnant women with depression and reach an F1 score of *** most relevant factors of depression found by SEOE are also verified in the *** addition,our model is of low computational complexity and strong generalization,which can be widely applied to other questionnaire analyses of psychiatric disorders.

VAE-KRnet and its Applications to Variational Bayes

In our study, we aimed to explore the psychiatric disorders, risk factors, and predictors of self-immolation among individuals admitted to Shahid Motahari Hospital in Tehran from 2019 to 2020. This cross-sectional study examines 64 hospitalized patients who received psychiatric counseling following self-immolation incidents. The rate of self-immolation varies significantly based on specific demographics. It is observed that in our population men had a higher rate of being unmarried (70.96 % vs 15.15 %), lower levels of education (70.96 % vs 63.63 % did not have a university degree), higher level of unemployment (54.83 % vs 30.30 %), younger age average with most men aging 15–24 (29.06 (SD = 9.33)) vs women 35–44 (35.27(SD = 10.27)) and higher prevalence of addiction (67.74 % vs 36.36 %) compared to women. On the other hand, women who attempted self-immolation mainly were married, involved in housekeeping, and tended to exhibit higher rates of depression (63.63 % vs 32.25 %) than men. Furthermore, these self-immolation incidents are often impulsive (64.1 %) and occur shortly (under an hour) after experiencing a stressor (39.1 %). Self-immolation accidents are frequently carried out using gasoline (50 %). Geographically, the majority of self-immolation cases of our study are concentrated in the central region of Iran (76.6 %), followed by the western region (15.6 %) this may be due to the proximity of these regions to our center while patients of other regions were hospitalized in their referral hospitals and were rarely transferred to the capital. To effectively address the issue of self-immolation and reduce its prevalence, it is essential to identify vulnerable populations and explore targeted preventive measures. Based on our findings, future pilot studies could investigate the feasibility of specific interventions, such as crisis hotlines to reduce impulsivity-related acts of self-immolation. This study presents an adaptive neural fuzzy network (ANFN) controller based on a modified differential evolution (MODE) for solving control problems. The proposed ANFN controller adopts a functional link neural network as the consequent part of the fuzzy rules. Thus, the consequent part of the ANFN controller is a nonlinear combination of input variables. The proposed MODE learning algorithm adopts an evolutionary learning method to optimize the controller parameters. For design optimization, a new criterion is introduced. A hardware-in-the loop control technique is developed and applied to the designed ANFN controller using the MODE learning algorithm. The proposed ANFN controller with the MODE learning algorithm (ANFN-MODE) is used in two practical applications-the planetary-train-type inverted pendulum system and the magnetic levitation system. The experiment is developed in a real-time visual simulation environment. Experimental results of this study have demonstrated the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed ANFN-MODE controller. © 2009 IEEE.

This paper investigates the nonlinear dynamics of network-based dynamical systems where network communication channels of finite data rates are inserted into the closed loops of the control systems. The authors analyze the bifurcation and chaotic behavior of the non-smooth dynamical systems. The authors first prove that for almost all system parameters there are no periodic orbits. This result distinguishes this type of non-smooth dynamical systems from many others exhibiting border-collision bifurcations. Next, the authors show analytically that the chaotic sets are separated from the region containing the line segment of all fixed points with a finite distance. Finally, the authors employ a simple model to highlight that both the number of clients sharing a common network channel and fluctuations in the available network bandwidth have significant influence on the performance of such dynamical systems.

Optimal Scheduling for Electric-Heat-Gas Systems: Harnessing Nonlinear Thermoelectricity of Hydrogen Fuel Cells

Hydrogen fuel cell, having features of high efficiency and zero carbon emission, has shown great application potential in integrated energy systems. To this end, a novel optimal scheduling strategy of electric-heat-gas (EHG) integrated energy system considering the heat and power coupling characters of hydrogen fuel cell is proposed in this paper. However, the intricate thermoelectric coupling characteristics of fuel cells need to be investigated to develop the refined scheduling modes. Based on the constructed mechanism model of hydrogen fuel cell, the thermoelectric coupling characteristics of hydrogen fuel cell cogeneration is analyzed among the feasible region, and further linearized as a series of constraints in the scheduling model. Considering the carbon trading cost, energy purchase cost and wind curtailment cost, the scheduling model of the EHG integrated energy system is developed. The results show that consideration of nonlinear thermoelectric coupling characteristics has improved the scheduling accuracy, which is more desirable in real projects. Using the established scheduling strategy, the available renewable resources can be fully absorbed. The carbon emissions and the total cost are significantly reduced, by 25.8% and 16%, respectively. Studies also indicate that the proposed optimal scheduling significantly enhances the operational flexibility and economic effect of the system.

In this paper, we present an approach, inspired by human behavior, in predicting the state of a high speed object based on the state of another object that causes such a high speed, e.g. predicting the state of a high speed puck which is hit by a lower speed paddle in the air hockey game. The proposed approach eliminates the need for high speed sensors, such as high speed cameras and grabbers, for capturing and processing high speed motions. This approach has been implemented and tested on an air hockey simulator and in real images taken by an off-the-shelf camera. The results show that the low speed of a paddle in the air hockey can be easily captured by an off-the-shelf camera and then the state of the puck, which is the speed and its pose, after being hit by the paddle can be calculated. © 2011 IEEE.
