Among the plethora of IoT(Internet of Things)applications,the smart home is one of the ***,the rapid development of the smart home has also made smart home systems a target for ***,researchers have made many efforts to investigate and enhance the security of smart home *** a more secure smart home ecosystem,we present a detailed literature review on the security of smart home ***,we categorize smart home systems’security issues into the platform,device,and communication *** exploring the research and specific issues in each of these security areas,we summarize the root causes of the security flaws in today's smart home systems,which include the heterogeneity of internal components of the systems,vendors'customization,the lack of clear responsibility boundaries and the absence of standard security ***,to better understand the security of smart home systems and potentially provide better protection for smart home systems,we propose research directions,including automated vulnerability mining,vigorous security checking,and data-driven security analysis.

Insect fine-grained image classification is an application scenario in fine-grained image classification. It not only has the characteristics of small inter-class differences and large intra-class differences, but also has the difficulty that some categories have multiple life-stage forms, which makes the general fine-grained image classification model difficult to play a role in insect scenes. To this end, based on the Vision Transformer, we design a fine-grained classification network for insect images based on abnormal clustering and cross slicing, called ACCS-Trans. In the first stage of the model, we use segmentation and clustering operations to distinguish the special morphology of insects in those few-shot life stages. The model can avoid the interference of few-sample abnormal morphology on the class feature extraction of the current class during training. The second stage is the cross slicing module, which uses the anchor box of the image sample segmentation region in the first stage to cut the original sample image to form the main target image, which is used as the information supplement area of the original image. Finally, the image is divided into doubling patch groups by two vertical patch operations. In the third stage, we concatenate the multiplication patch group and input it into the Vision Transformer network for class feature extraction. We fully experiment with ACCS-Trans on two insect image datasets. Compared with the current mainstream fine-grained image classification models, ACCS- Trans achieves state-of-the-art effects on both datasets, and we do ablation experiments for each module. The effect of each module on our ACCS- Trans is analyzed. The excellent performance of our ACCS- Trans in insect scenes is verified in these experiments, these provide new ideas for the task of fine-grained classification of insect images.

A range filter is a data structure to answer range membership queries. Range queries are common in modern applications, and range filters have gained rising attention for improving the performance of range queries by ruling out empty range queries. However, state-of-the-art range filters, such as SuRF and Rosetta, suffer either high false positive rate or low throughput. In this paper, we propose a novel range filter, called REncoder. It organizes all prefixes of keys into a segment tree, and locally encodes the segment tree into a Bloom filter to accelerate queries. REncoder supports diverse workloads by adaptively choosing how many levels of the segment tree to store. We theoretically prove that the error of REncoder is bounded and derive the asymptotic space complexity under the bounded error. We conduct extensive experiments on both synthetic datasets and real datasets. The experimental results show that REncoder outperforms all state-of-the-art range filters. © 2023 IEEE.

China's distinctive resource endowment, characterized by abundant coal, limited oil, and scarce gas, shapes the long-term development focus on coal power. However, the requirement for stable combustion imposes limitations on the deep peak-shaving flexibility of coal power. While previous studies have explored the technical feasibility of deep peak shaving for coal power, there is a scarcity of research addressing the delicate balance between the costs of flexibility retrofitting and the benefits of promoting renewable energy integration in power system. To this end, in this paper, we develop an optimal planning technology for the flexibility retrofitting of coal plants. The proposed technology employs a capacity expansion and dispatch model which formulate a flexibility retrofitting plan for coal-fired power plants and a configuration scheme for battery energy storage. Incorporating the proposed model and real-world data from power grid in Yunnan, China, we assess the decarbonization potential of coal fleet flexibility. The experimental results demonstrate that coal fleet flexibility effectively reduces renewable energy curtailment by 3.0% and decreases carbon emissions by more than 6 megatons compared to the coal fleet without retrofitting. Furthermore, the flexibility retrofitting of coal-fired power plants is projected to yield a 12.5% total cost reduction and a 11.1% decrease in coal power generation. © 2024 IEEE.

Anomaly detection aims to find outliers data that do not conform to expected behaviors in a specific scenario, which is indispensable and critical in current safety environments related studies. However, when performing outlier detection on a large-scale multidimensional dataset, most of the traditional methods make no distinctions between classes of outliers and lack the reasoning ability and the explainability of the analysis results, which leads to the low accuracy of global outlier detection and the inability to effectively identify local outliers. In this paper, we propose a fine-grained anomaly detection method which well utilizes isolation forest and knowledge graph reasoning tactics. First, a better extracting data feature method and a more reasonable weighted strategy are used to find global outliers based on the traditional isolation forest algorithm, and then we construct a custom rule base according to the in-depth research and analysis of global abnormal data, and at last the ontology knowledge is reasoned based on such rule base to achieve the detection of local outliers. Through analysis of extensive experiment results, our method could effectively discover more abnormal data without big loss of time costs, has strong generalization, and correspondingly improves the performance for abnormal detection. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Battery aging is a major hindrance to the advancement of batteries, particularly in their use for deep peaking and auxiliary services in the electricity market. Although existing literature recognizes battery aging in dispatch scenarios, the analysis of aging mechanisms often depends on statistical methods such as the rainflow algorithm, which may result in empirical formulas that do not fully consider the complex coupling mechanisms involved in battery aging. In this paper, we innovatively propose a lithium-ion battery(LIB) storage dispatch model with embedded cycle aging mechanism: Firstly, the essay delves into three primary side reactions responsible for battery degradation: solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) film formation and thickening, lithium precipitation, and active particle cracking. Following this exploration, this paper delineates the impacts of these three side-reaction rates on the electrochemical model parameters. Thirdly, a pioneering model is introduced, which integrates side-reaction rates and furnishes analytical expressions for the non-uniform distributions of primary and side-reaction rates. In conclusion, the battery aging model was employed in simulations to engage in power market arbitrage, enabling a comprehensive study of the battery’s aging pattern over the course of a year.

Background: There is a shortage of rehabilitation doctors and treatment equipment for patients with lumbar spondylosis. Therefore, a waist massage instrument (WMI) is designed to help patients alle-viate lumbar pain. Objective: The objective of this study is to design a new WMI with the advantages of simple structure, lightweight, and function of effective force control, and to verify its function of palmar push, palmar press, and palmar vibration based on the on-off control, PID control, and fuzzy-PID control. Methods: Firstly, the movement characteristics of the Chinese massage manipulation are analyzed to clarify the design principle of the massage instrument. Then, a new WMI composed of massage head, vibration exciter, and actuator is designed to simulate the three massage manipulations. Next, the electric control system and control methods of on-off, PID, and fuzzy-PID controllers are introduced to realize the force control of WMI. Finally, the force control experiments of WMI are carried out to verify the function of the palmar press, palmar push, and palmar vibration based on the on-off control, PID control, and fuzzy-PID control, respectively. Results: The experimental results indicate that the proposed WMI can implement the massage manipulations of palmar push, palmar press, and palmar vibration well, and has good force control ability after using fuzzy-PID control. Conclusion: The newly designed WMI is effective in providing palmar push, palmar press, and palmar vibration massage manipulations for patients with lumbar spondylosis, and the fuzzy-PID controller im-proves the force control ability of the instrument. The WMI has the potential to be used as an effective treatment for lumbar pain. © 2023 Bentham science Publishers.

Digital identity is one of the key elements to build a trust system in the digital economy era. Digital identity has empowered social governance and public services in the new era in many fields, and promoted the rapid development of digital economy. In this paper, a trusted digital identity based on identification code and trusted account blockchain fusion is proposed. Through the unified standard, unified coding identifier, combined with identity-based cryptographic algorithm and blockchain, identification code and trusted account blockchain fusion is realized, and a real, effective, safe and credible digital identity technology system is constructed. Trusted digital identity is a bridge connecting the virtual world and the physical world. It plays a strong supporting role in realizing the identity fusion and 'digital twin' of the physical world offline and the virtual world. Video Character Social Relationship Recognition (VCSRR) requires a comprehensive consideration about spatio-temporal and multi-modal clues in videos. Most existing methods mainly focus on integrating multi-modal clues and modeling interactions among characters. However, they fail to discover key clues in the complex video data or fully understand the clues related to social relationships. In this article, we propose a novel Large Language Model Enhanced Key Clues Selection (LEKCS) framework to address the aforementioned issues. The core of LE-KCS is to mine multi-scale key clues from the perspectives of time, space and multi-modality, then transfer the knowledge about social relationships of the Large Language Model to VCSRR for understanding the selected clues. We evaluated LEKCS on the MovieGraphs dataset and the experimental results indicate that our proposed LE-KCS achieves state-of-the-art performance. © 2025 IEEE.
