In this paper, we introduce a new dataset for air conditioner refrigerant leak smoke detection, called ACRL-10K. The dataset is designed to develop algorithms for detecting refrigerant leak smoke faults during air conditioner recycling. It contains a total of 10, 724 images covering three common scenarios of air conditioner refrigerant leak: loading port, refrigerant extraction, and disassembly. All images are sourced from 656 video segments of real air conditioner recycling scenarios, captured by surveillance cameras deployed on an environmental company's recycling production line. The annotations for the refrigerant leak smoke in the images are performed by industry experts to ensure high accuracy and consistency. To the best of our knowledge, ACRL-10K is the first dataset specifically designed for refrigerant leak smoke detection. Based on the ACRL-10K dataset, we present the performance of mainstream object detectors, including the YOLO series, as a baseline to conduct the following work: 1) preliminarily summarize the challenges of using the dataset for refrigerant leak smoke detection;2) show the detection results of benchmark methods;and 3) make a comparison to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the baseline algorithms. In practice, the ACRL-10K dataset would hopefully advance research and applications in refrigerant leak early warning during air conditioner dismantling and recycling processes. © 2025 IEEE.

On convergence of covariance matrix of empirical Bayes hyper-parameter estimator

Regularized system identification has become the research frontier of system identification in the past *** related core subject is to study the convergence properties of various hyper-parameter estimators as the sample size goes to *** this paper,we consider one commonly used hyper-parameter estimator,the empirical Bayes(EB).Its convergence in distribution has been studied,and the explicit expression of the covariance matrix of its limiting distribution has been ***,what we are truly interested in are factors contained in the covariance matrix of the EB hyper-parameter estimator,and then,the convergence of its covariance matrix to that of its limiting distribution is *** general,the convergence in distribution of a sequence of random variables does not necessarily guarantee the convergence of its covariance ***,the derivation of such convergence is a necessary complement to our theoretical analysis about factors that influence the convergence properties of the EB hyper-parameter *** this paper,we consider the regularized finite impulse response(FIR)model estimation with deterministic inputs,and show that the covariance matrix of the EB hyper-parameter estimator converges to that of its limiting ***,we run numerical simulations to demonstrate the efficacy of ourtheoretical results.

Interfacial Microstructures and Mechanical Properties of TiC Reinforced GH 3230 Superalloy Manufactured by Laser Metal Deposition

GH 3230 superalloy is a solution strengthening nickel-based superalloy and it is commonly used for fabricating hot components with the service temperature of above 900℃.In order to further improve high-temperature performance,nickel-based alloy matrix composites(NMCs)were ***,it is known that laser additive manufacturing is an optional method for fabricating nickel-based ***,the research on ceramic-reinforced GH 3230 fabricated by laser metal deposition(LMD)are highly *** aim of this study is to develop TiC ceramic particle reinforced GH 3230 composites using laser metal deposition(LMD)method and study the effect of TiC content on their microstructure and tensile *** results showed that TiC particles not only changed the intensity and position of the X-ray diffraction peaks of the alloy matrix but also had a significant effect on the refinement of the cellular ***,it was found that an interfacial layer with sub-micrometer thickness was formed between the TiC ceramic particle and the superalloy matrix,which was identified to be(W,Ti)C_(1-x)phase by the *** terms of the as-built composites,the ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and yield strength(YS)gradually increased,but elongation(EL)decreased with the increase of TiC *** the as-LMDed 10 vol.%TiC/GH3230 composites,UTS and EL reached 1077.0 MPa and 12.4%,*** enhancement of the tensile strength for composites was attributed to the combined effect of grain refinement strengthening,Orowan strengthening,dislocation strengthening and loading-bearing strengthening.

Sharing the hardware platform between diverse information systems to establish full cooperation among different functionalities has attracted substantial ***,broadband multifunctional integrated systems with large operating frequency ranges are challenging due to the bandwidth and computing speed restrictions of electronic ***,we report an analog parallel processor(APP)based on the silicon photonic platform that directly discretizes and parallelizes the broadband signal in the analog *** APP first discretizes the signal with the optical frequency comb and then adopts optical dynamic phase interference to reassign the analog signal into 2N parallel *** photonic analog parallelism,data rate and data volume in each sequence are simultaneously compressed,which mitigates the requirement on each parallel computing ***,the fusion of the outputs from each computing core is equivalent to directly processing broadband *** the proof-of-concept experiment,two-channel analog parallel processing of broadband radar signals and high-speed communication signals is implemented on the single photonic integrated *** bandwidth of broadband radar signal is 6 GHz and the range resolution of 2.69 cm is *** wireless communication rate of 8 Gbit/s is also *** the bandwidth and speed limitations of the single-computing core along with further exploring the multichannel potential of this architecture,we anticipate that the proposed APP will accelerate the development of powerful optoelectronic processors as critical support for applications such as satellite networks and intelligent driving.

In recent years, researchers have witnessed rapid advancements in conducting paper surveys using generative AI, enhancing survey efficiency to some extent. However, today's generative AI lacks deep research training to analyze logical threads woven across multiple papers. A concise visualization method is also expected to present logical connections among various papers. These logical threads are often implicit in the issue ontology authors commonly employ when writing papers. Building on this issue ontology, our method utilizes Dynamic Programming with multiple agents to generate an insight path. The key feature of this approach is the collaboration of multiple agents to adapt to a complex environment and make optimized decisions on issue ontology selection. This path aims to succinctly express longitudinal logical connections among multiple papers, including commonality, difference, and inheritance. © 2024 IEEE.

Time-temperature-transformation(TTT)diagram plays a critical role in designing appropriate heat treatment process of steels by describing the relationship among holding time,temperature,and quantities of phase *** predictions for TTT diagrams of new steel rapidly and accurately is therefore of much practical importance,especially for costly and time-consuming experimental ***,TTT diagrams for carbon and low-alloy steels were predicted using machine learning *** commonly used machine learning(ML)algorithms,backpropagation artificial neural network(BP network),LibSVM,k-nearest neighbor,Bagging,and Random tree,were adopted to select appropriate models for the *** results illustrate that Bagging is the optimal model for the prediction of pearlite transformation and bainite transformation,and BP network is the optimal model for martensite ***,the ML framework composed of Bagging and BP network models was applied to predict the entire TTT ***,the ML models show superior performance on the prediction of testing samples than the commercial software JMatPro.

Rechargeable magnesium-metal batteries(RMMBs)are promising next-generation secondary batteries;however,their development is inhibited by the low capacity and short cycle lifespan of *** various strategies have been devised to enhance the Mg^(2+)migration kinetics and structural stability of cathodes,they fail to improve electronic conductivity,rendering the cathodes incompatible with magnesium-metal ***,we propose a dual-defect engineering strategy,namely,the incorporation of Mg^(2+)pre-intercalation defect(P-Mgd)and oxygen defect(Od),to simultaneously improve the Mg^(2+)migration kinetics,structural stability,and electronic conductivity of the cathodes of *** lamellar V_(2)O_(5)·nH_(2)O as a demo cathode material,we prepare a cathode comprising Mg_(0.07)V_(2)O_(5)·1.4H_(2)O nanobelts composited with reduced graphene oxide(MVOH/rGO)with P-Mgd and *** Od enlarges interlayer spacing,accelerates Mg^(2+)migration kinetics,and prevents structural collapse,while the P-Mgd stabilizes the lamellar structure and increases electronic ***,the MVOH/rGO cathode exhibits a high capacity of 197 mAh g^(−1),and the developed Mg foil//MVOH/rGO full cell demonstrates an incredible lifespan of 850 cycles at 0.1 A g^(−1),capable of powering a light-emitting *** proposed dual-defect engineering strategy provides new insights into developing high-durability,high-capacity cathodes,advancing the practical application of RMMBs,and other new secondary batteries.

Multi-objective optimization is critical for problem-solving in engineering,economics,and *** study introduces the Multi-Objective Chef-Based Optimization Algorithm(MOCBOA),an upgraded version of the Chef-Based Optimization Algorithm(CBOA)that addresses distinct *** approach is unique in systematically examining four dominance relations—Pareto,Epsilon,Cone-epsilon,and Strengthened dominance—to evaluate their influence on sustaining solution variety and driving convergence toward the Pareto *** comparison investigation,which was conducted on fifty test problems from the CEC 2021 benchmark and applied to areas such as chemical engineering,mechanical design,and power systems,reveals that the dominance approach used has a considerable impact on the key optimization measures such as the hypervolume *** paper provides a solid foundation for determining themost effective dominance approach and significant insights for both theoretical research and practical applications in multi-objective optimization.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has made it possible for health institutions to have remote diagnosis, reliable, preventive, and real-time decision-making. However, the anonymity and privacy of patients are not considered in IoT. Therefore, this article proposes a blockchain-based anonymous system, known as GarliMediChain, for providing anonymity and privacy during COVID-19 information sharing. In GarliMediChain, garlic routing and blockchain are integrated to provide low-latency communication, privacy, anonymity, trust, and security. Also, COVID-19 information is encrypted multiple times before transmitting to a series of nodes in the network. To ensure that COVID-19 information is successfully shared, a blockchain-based coalition system is proposed. The coalition system enables health institutions to share information while maximizing their payoffs. In addition, each institution uses the proposed fictitious play to study the strategies of others in order to update its belief by selecting the best responses from them. Furthermore, simulation results show that the proposed system is resistant to security-related attacks and is robust, efficient, and adaptive. From the results, the proposed proof-of-epidemiology-of-interest consensus protocol has 15.93% less computational cost than 26.30% of proof-of-work and 57.77% proof-of-authority consensus protocol, respectively. Nonetheless, the proposed GarliMediChain system promotes global collaborations by combining existing anonymity and trust solutions with the support of blockchain technology. © 2007-2012 IEEE.
