THE INCLUSION-EXCLUSION PRINCIPLE AND RECURRENCES FOR PARTITION NUMBERS

The inclusion-exclusion principle together with Legendre type theorems for number of distinct restricted partitions weighted by the parity of their length are used to give several recurrence relations for restricted partition numbers as well as for overpartition numbers. In the case of overpartitions, POD partitions and 3-color partitions, we give combinatorial proofs for the Legendre type theorems and arrive to combinatorial proofs for the recurrence relations. © 2025, Politechnica University of Bucharest. Impact of uneven distribution of grain characteristics on yield strength and martensitic transformation of as-hot-rolled medium-entropy alloys

As-hot-rolled medium-entropy alloys(MEAs)with unevenly distributed grain sizes of face-centered cubic grains exhibit better yield strength without uniform elongation loss compared to cold-rolled and an-nealed *** operation of dynamic recrystallization(DRX)during several hot rolling passes leads to a wide range of grain sizes from submicrons to tens of micrometers due to the grain growth after nucleation:early recrystallized grains are coarser than recently recrystallized *** only the grain size but internal dislocation density of the recently recrystallized grain is *** the tensile deformation of the hot-rolled MEAs at-196 ℃,dislocation pile-ups in the relatively soft and fine DRX grains enhance yield stress and hetero-deformation-induced strain *** to the enhanced yield stress of the as-hot-rolled MEAs,stress-induced martensitic transformation easily ***,partially DRXed MEAs hot-rolled at 800 ℃ have lower yield stress than fully DRXed ones,hot-rolled at 900 and 1000 ℃.This is attributed to the softening effect of the stress-induced body-centered cubic martensitic transformation in unrecrystallized coarse grains prior to the yielding,which lowers the yield stress of the partially DRXed *** yielding,the martensitic transformation facilitates strain hard-ening and early necking is *** study presents a fresh outlook on the uneven distribution of grain sizes by hot rolling beneficial to mechanical responses of uniform elongation of~45%despite the as-rolled states with an advantage of simplified thermo-mechanical processes.

Photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes under sunlight using a mononuclear Zn complex-embedded-functionalized porous material

In this study, mesoporous materials (MCM-41 and MCM-48) were synthesized and functionalized with an acid group through a post-synthetic modification method. A mononuclear Zn complex [Zn(dmp)Cl2] (dmp = neocuprine) was also prepared and incorporated into a functionalized mesoporous material. Extensive characterization of the material married was carried out using techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) to evaluate the characteristics of modified materials. The characterization results revealed that the post-synthetic modification did not alter the phase purity, crystallinity, or morphology of the mesoporous materials while confirming the successful grafting of the desired sulphonic acid functionality and Zn complex. The Zn complex-grafted-functionalized mesoporous materials were then assessed for their photo-degradation using methylene blue (MB) and rhodamine B (RB). The results demonstrated exceptional photo-degradation efficiency of the modified materials under sunlight. Within 15 min, 10 mg/ml of dye concentration, and adsorbent dosage 0.15 mg/ml and 0.1 mg/ml, degradation efficiencies of 99% and 92%, were achieved for MB using M-48-S-Zn1 and M-41-S-Zn1, respectively. Similarly, 91% and 78% degradation rates were achieved within 30 min for RB using the same materials. The modified mesoporous materials exhibited a remarkable degradation performance even in challenging environments, including highly acidic, basic, and salt-concentrated conditions. The design of a new adaptive version of the multiple dependent state(AMDS)sampling plan is presented based on the time truncated life test under the Weibull *** achieved the proposed sampling plan by applying the concept of the double sampling plan and existing multiple dependent state sampling plans.A warning sign for acceptance number was proposed to increase the probability of current lot *** optimal plan parameters were determined simultaneously with nonlinear optimization problems under the producer’s risk and consumer’s risk.A simulation study was presented to support the proposed sampling plan.A comparison between the proposed and existing sampling plans,namely multiple dependent state(MDS)sampling plans and a modified multiple dependent state(MMDS)sampling plan,was considered under the average sampling number and operating characteristic curve *** addition,the use of two real datasets demonstrated the practicality and usefulness of the proposed sampling *** results indicated that the proposed plan is more flexible and efficient in terms of the average sample number compared to the existing MDS and MMDS sampling plans.

A plastic optical fiber amplifier coated with CsPbBr3 nanocrystals and pumped by an 800-nm Ti:Sapphire laser exhibited two-photon-excited amplified spontaneous emission with a 7.4-mJ/cm2 threshold and >10-dB optical gain in the green spectral range (520-540 nm) when incorporating a continuous-wave broadband signal. © 2024 IEEE.

The intuitive fuzzy set has found important application in decision-making and machine *** enrich and utilize the intuitive fuzzy set,this study designed and developed a deep neural network-based glaucoma eye detection using fuzzy difference equations in the domain where the retinal images *** image detections are categorized as normal eye recognition,suspected glaucomatous eye recognition,and glaucomatous eye *** degrees associated with weighted values are calculated to determine the level of concentration between the fuzzy partition and the retinal *** proposed model was used to diagnose glaucoma using retinal images and involved utilizing the Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)and deep learning to identify the fuzzy weighted regularization between *** methodology was used to clarify the input images and make them adequate for the process of glaucoma *** objective of this study was to propose a novel approach to the early diagnosis of glaucoma using the Fuzzy Expert System(FES)and Fuzzy differential equation(FDE).The intensities of the different regions in the images and their respective peak levels were *** the peak regions were identified,the recurrence relationships among those peaks were then *** partitioning was done due to varying degrees of similar and dissimilar concentrations in the *** and dissimilar concentration levels and spatial frequency generated a threshold image from the combined fuzzy matrix and *** distinguished between a normal and abnormal eye condition,thus detecting patients with glaucomatous eyes.

A secure remote health monitoring model for early disease diagnosis in cloud-based IoT environment

Internet of Things (IoT) and smart medical devices have improved the healthcare systems by enabling remote monitoring and screening of the patients’ health conditions anywhere and anytime. Due to an unexpected and huge increasing in number of patients during coronavirus (novel COVID-19) pandemic, it is considerably indispensable to monitor patients’ health condition continuously before any serious disorder or infection occur. According to transferring the huge volume of produced sensitive health data of patients who do not want their private medical information to be revealed, dealing with security issues of IoT data as a major concern and a challenging problem has remained yet. Encountering this challenge, in this paper, a remote health monitoring model that applies a lightweight block encryption method for provisioning security for health and medical data in cloud-based IoT environment is presented. In this model, the patients’ health statuses are determined via predicting critical situations through data mining methods for analyzing their biological data sensed by smart medical IoT devices in which a lightweight secure block encryption technique is used to ensure the patients’ sensitive data become protected. Lightweight block encryption methods have a crucial effective influence on this sort of systems due to the restricted resources in IoT platforms. Experimental outcomes show that K-star classification method achieves the best results among RF, MLP, SVM, and J48 classifiers, with accuracy of 95%, precision of 94.5%, recall of 93.5%, and f-score of 93.99%. Therefore, regarding the attained outcomes, the suggested model is successful in achieving an effective remote health monitoring model assisted by secure IoT data in cloud-based IoT platforms. © 2020, Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature.

Achieving historically anticipated improvement in the performance of integrated circuits is challenging,due to the increasing cost and complexity of the required technologies with each new *** overcome this limitation,the exploration and development of novel interconnect materials and processes are highly desirable in the microelectronics ***(Mo)is attracting attention as an advanced interconnect material due to its small resistivity size effect and high cohesive energy;however,effective processing methods for such materials have not been widely ***,we investigate the electrochemical behavior of ions in the confined nanopores that affect the electrical properties and microstructures of nanoscale Mo and Mo-Co alloys prepared via template-assisted *** in an electrolyte allow the deposition of extremely pure metal materials,due to their interac-tion with metal ions and *** this study,boric acid and tetrabutylammonium bisulfate(TBA)were added to an acetate bath to inhibit the hydrogen evolution *** accelerated the reduction of Mo at the surface by inducing surface conduction on the *** Mo nanowires with a 130 nm diameter synthesized through high-aspect-ratio nanopore engineering exhibited a resistivity of(63.0±17.9)μΩ*** also evaluated the resistivities of Mo-Co alloy nanowires at various compo-sitions toward replacing irreducible conventional barrier/liner *** intermetallic compound formed at a Mo composition of 28.6 at%,the resistivity of the Mo-Co nanowire was(58.0±10.6)μΩcm,indicat-ing its superior electrical and adhesive properties in comparison with those of conventional barriers such as TaN and ***,density functional theory and non-equilibrium Green's function calcula-tions confirmed that the vertical resistance of the via structure constructed from Mo-based materials was 21%lower than that of a conventional Cu/Ta/TaN structure.
