Blockchain platform Ethereum has involved millions of accounts due to its strong potential for providing numerous services based on smart *** massive accounts can be divided into diverse categories,such as miners,tokens,and exchanges,which is termed as account diversity in this *** benefit of investigating diversity are multi-fold,including understanding the Ethereum ecosystem deeper and opening the possibility of tracking certain abnormal ***,the exploration of blockchain account diversity remains *** the most relevant studies,which focus on the deanonymization of the accounts on Bitcoin,can hardly be applied on Ethereum since their underlying protocols and user idioms are *** this end,we present the first attempt to demystify the account diversity on *** key observation is that different accounts exhibit diverse behavior patterns,leading us to propose the heuristics for classification as the *** then raise the coverage rate of classification by the statistical learning model Maximum Likelihood Estimation(MLE).We collect real-world data through extensive efforts to evaluate our proposed method and show its ***,we make an in-depth analysis of the dynamic evolution of the Ethereum ecosystem and uncover the abnormal arbitrage *** for the former,we validate two sweeping statements reliably:(1)standalone miners are gradually replaced by the mining pools and cooperative miners;(2)transactions related to the mining pool and exchanges take up a large share of the total *** latter analysis shows that there are a large number of arbitrage transactions transferring the coins from one exchange to another to make a price difference.

The surge in real-time IoT data introduces scalability and computational challenges, necessitating advanced architectural and technological solutions. Streamed data processing is increasingly adopted across industries to enhance operational efficiency by extracting insights from vast, unstructured datasets. However, complex analytical tasks, such as multi-join queries, often require stateful iterative calculations on high-volume, high-velocity data, which challenges conventional programming models like MapReduce. This paper introduces an architectural model enabling application developers to create intricate streaming computational logic within an IoT platform. Our architecture supports scalable applications across distributed edge-tier nodes, particularly for iterative analytical operations on streamed data. We discuss core concepts and a timestamp model (borrowed from the timely data-flow concept) attached to data items circulating between computational blocks, which can execute concurrently on different edge-tier nodes. Additionally, we detail a buffer management mechanism that dynamically adjusts memory size in each computational block on nodes with limited capacity. This mechanism considers application performance requirements and runtime conditions to optimize buffer sizes. Performance evaluation against cloud-tier alternatives confirms the effectiveness of our solution. Experimental results show a significant reduction in p-99 delay compared to cloud-tier deployment with a database engine for analytical applications involving multi-join operations.

Multi-tenant containerized environments offer numerous benefits to virtualized computing platforms, providing a lightweight and consistent environment for application development. However, the shared nature of resources among coresident containers introduces interference, potentially leading to performance degradation and violating service level agreements (SLA) set by end-users. Addressing the inherent interference in multi-tenant containerized environments is a challenging yet promising endeavor, as it can significantly impact performance and violate SLAs. This paper presents a lightweight system designed to diagnose and control interference in a multitenant containerized environment. We have implemented the proposed solution on top of the Linux container environment and conducted experiments with diverse CPU- and I/O-intensive workloads, including real-world applications like distributed data processing and event stream processing pipelines. The results highlight that our solution achieves an average prediction error below 24% in CPU-bound workloads, with none surpassing 38% across diverse workloads.

Instant delivery has become a fundamental service in people's daily lives. Different from the traditional express service, the instant delivery has a strict shipping time constraint after being ordered. However, the labor shortage makes it challenging to realize efficient instant delivery. To tackle the problem, researchers have studied to introduce vehicles (i.e., taxis) or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs or drones) into instant delivery tasks. Unfortunately, the delivery detour of taxis and the limited battery of UAVs make it hard to meet the rapidly increasing instant delivery demands. Under this circumstance, this paper proposes an air-ground cooperative instant delivery paradigm to maximize the delivery performance and meanwhile minimize the negative effects on the taxi passengers. Specifically, a data-driven delivery potential-demands-aware cooperative strategy is designed to improve the overall delivery performance of both UAVs and taxis as well as the taxi passengers' experience. The experimental results show that the proposed method improves the delivery number by 30.1% and 114.5% compared to the taxi-based and UAV-based instant delivery respectively, and shortens the delivery time by 35.7% compared to the taxi-based instant delivery. © 2024 IEEE.

The Sunway family supercomputers have achieved a series of remarkable achievements. However, the toolchains provided by them are not perfect, which has brought great challenges to the development of high-performance application software. In this paper, a profiling and optimizing tool is proposed to assist people to analyze and optimize the performance of their programs. SWPFOPLD is independent of the application program and gathers the runtime performance data through the PMUs, an automatically hot functions rearrange optimization based on the performance data is furtherly accomplished. The evaluation shows that SWPFOPLD can be easily and effectively used to analyze and optimize the performance of the application programs. © 2023 IEEE.

Early diagnosis of osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) can inhibit the progression and improve femoral head preservation. The radiograph difference between early ONFH and healthy ones is not apparent to the naked eye. It is also hard to produce a large dataset to train the classification model. In this paper, we propose Asymmetric-Sensitive Transformer (AsT) to capture the uneven development of the bilateral femoral head to enable robust ONFH detection. Our ONFH detection is realized using the self-attention mechanism to femoral head regions while conferring sensitivity to the uneven development by the attention-shared transformer. The real-world experiment studies show that AsT achieves the best performance of AUC 0.9313 in the early diagnosis of ONFH and can find out misdiagnosis cases firmly. Traditional unlearnable strategies have been proposed to prevent unauthorized users from training on the 2D image data. With more 3D point cloud data containing sensitivity information, unauthorized usage of this new type data has also become a serious concern. To address this, we propose the first integral unlearnable framework for 3D point clouds including two processes: (i) we propose an unlearnable data protection scheme, involving a class-wise setting established by a category-adaptive allocation strategy and multi-transformations assigned to samples;(ii) we propose a data restoration scheme that utilizes class-wise inverse matrix transformation, thus enabling authorized-only training for unlearnable data. This restoration process is a practical issue overlooked in most existing unlearnable literature, i.e., even authorized users struggle to gain knowledge from 3D unlearnable data. Both theoretical and empirical results (including 6 datasets, 16 models, and 2 tasks) demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed unlearnable framework. Disaggregated memory (DM) is a widely discussed datacenter architecture in academia and industry. It decouples computing and memory resources from monolithic servers into two network-connected resource pools. Range indexes are widely adopted by storage systems on DM to efficiently locate and query remote data. However, existing range indexes on DM suffer from either high computing-side cache consumption or high memory-side read amplifications. In this paper, we propose CHIME, a hybrid index combining B+ trees with hopscotch hashing, to achieve low cache consumption and low read amplifications simultaneously. There are three challenges in constructing CHIME on DM, i.e., the complicated optimistic synchronization, the extra metadata access, and the read amplifications introduced by hopscotch hashing. CHIME leverages 1) a three-level optimistic synchronization scheme to synchronize read and write operations with various granularities, 2) an access-aggregated metadata management technique to eliminate extra metadata accesses by piggybacking and replicating metadata, and 3) an effective hotness-aware speculative read mechanism to mitigate the read amplifications of hopscotch hashing. Experimental results show that CHIME outperforms the state-of-the-art range indexes on DM by up to 5.1× with the same cache size and achieves similar performance with up to 8.7× lower cache consumption. © 2024 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s). Cloud-based AI services offer numerous benefits but also introduce vulnerabilities, allowing for tampering with deployed DNN models, ranging from injecting malicious behaviors to reducing computing resources. Fingerprint samples are generated to query models to detect such tampering. In this paper, we present Intersecting-Boundary-Sensitive Fingerprinting (IBSF), a novel method for black-box integrity verification of DNN models using only top-1 labels. Recognizing that tampering with a model alters its decision boundary, IBSF crafts fingerprint samples from normal samples by maximizing the partial Shannon entropy of a selected subset of categories to position the fingerprint samples near decision boundaries where the categories in the subset intersect. These fingerprint samples are almost indistinguishable from their source samples. We theoretically establish and confirm experimentally that these fingerprint samples' expected sensitivity to tampering increases with the cardinality of the subset. Extensive evaluation demonstrates that IBSF surpasses existing state-of-the-art fingerprinting methods, particularly with larger subset cardinality, establishing its state-of-the-art performance in black-box tampering detection using only top-1 labels.
