This work introduces a Nano/Pico smart grid energy market model where a market operator (MO) manages price determination for local peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading among distributed energy resource (DER) sellers and buyers. The MO determines trading prices based on reserved pricing models, factoring in the minimum and maximum price ranges proposed by sellers and buyers. In this framework, the MO calculates the supply-to-demand ratio (SDR) to classify the market into buyers’, sellers’, or equilibrium modes. The objective is to minimize buyers’ bills or maximize sellers’ revenues depending on the market mode. The model’s effectiveness is evaluated using a dataset from a small community with five buyers and five sellers. Comparative analysis with existing methods demonstrates that the proposed model significantly enhances sellers’ profitability and provides substantial savings for buyers. Through the simulation results it is worth noting that the proposed model increases the revenues of the sellers from 17% to 7% compared with the other state-of-the-art methods. Whereas, energy bills for the buyers can also be reduced from 24% to 12%. This percentage increase in revenues and reduction in energy bills validates the proposed model’s efficiency and effectiveness compared to the other state-of-the-art methods. ©2024 IEEE.

To reduce the adverse influence of friction disturbance on electromechanical actuator(EA) servo system,in this paper,an adaptive friction compensation method is proposed to estimate and compensate LuGre model-based friction disturbance in EA servo *** proposed adaptive friction compensation controller consists of four modules:a PD module,a feedforward module,a speed feedback module and an adaptive friction torque estimation *** stability of the closed-loop system under the proposed adaptive friction compensation method is guaranteed through Lyapunov stability *** simulation and experiment,it can be seen that the proposed method can effectively enhance dynamic performance of EA servo system.

Conversion of labile Pb species into chloropyromorphite(CPY)using phosphorus-bearing amendments was considered to be an ideal strategy in soil passivation ***,the fate and transport of CPY in the soil are poorly *** study aims to fill the knowledge gap by evaluating the fate and transport of CPY under environmentally relevant conditions of humic acid(HA),pH,electrolyte concentration,and species through the saturated sandy *** showed that bare CPY colloids are basically immobile in sandy porous media while the co-existence of HA made the transport of CPY improved by30%-93.5%.Facilitated transport of CPY was attributed to the increased stability of CPY and the repulsive interaction between CPY particles and sands due to HA *** mobility of CPY was also increased with increasing pH from 5.0 to *** the pH was 9 with a10 mmol/L NaCl background solution,the stronger energy barrier between CPY and sand led to enhanced transport *** divalent Ca^(2+)had a more dramatic effect than monovalent Na^(+)on the aggregation and sedimentation of CPY colloids due to its effectivescreening of the surface charge of CPY and bridging interaction with CPY ***-LandauVerwey-Overbeek theory and attachment efficiency calculation indicated that high energy barriers were responsible for the high mobility of CPY colloids,while the retention of CPY in sands was mainly caused by secondary energy minimum and physically *** findings of this work can help to evaluate the fate of soil passivation remediation products in natural water and soil.

Solitons are self-reinforcing localized wave packets that manifest in the major areas of nonlinear science,from optics to biology and Bose-Einstein ***,optically driven dissipative solitons have attracted great attention for the implementation of the chip-scale frequency combs that are decisive for communications,spectroscopy,neural computing,and quantum information *** the current understanding,the generation of temporal solitons involves the chromatic dispersion as a key enabling physical effect,acting either globally or locally on the cavity dynamics in a decisive ***,we report on a novel class of solitons,both theoretically and experimentally,which builds up in spectrally confined optical cavities when dispersion is practically absent,both globally and ***,the interplay between the Kerr nonlinearity and spectral filtering results in an infiinite hierarchy of eigenfunctions which,combined with optical gain,allow for the generation of stable dispersion-less dissipative solitons in a previously unexplored *** the filter order tends to infinity,we find an unexpected link between dissipative and conservative solitons,in the form of Nyquist-pulse-like solitons endowed with an ultra-flat *** contrast to the conventional dispersion-enabled nonlinear Schr?dinger solitons,these dispersion-less Nyquist solitons build on a fully confined spectrum and their energy scaling is not constrained by the pulse ***-less soliton molecules and their deterministic transitioning to single solitons are also *** findings broaden the fundamental scope of the dissipative soliton paradigm and open new avenues for generating soliton pulses and frequency combs endowed with unprecedented temporal and spectral features.

This paper proposes a Fault-tolerant control method for a standard three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) under a single-phase open-circuit fault condition. The method for driving a three-phase PMSM from a standstill using a three-leg, two-level inverter configuration is proposed. Experimental results show that 65% of the motor's rated speed and 50% of its rated torque maintains. © 2025 IEEE.

Detecting While Accessing:A Semi-Supervised Learning-Based Approach for Malicious Traffic Detection in Internet of Things

In the upcoming large-scale Internet of Things(Io T),it is increasingly challenging to defend against malicious traffic,due to the heterogeneity of Io T devices and the diversity of Io T communication *** this paper,we propose a semi-supervised learning-based approach to detect malicious traffic at the access *** overcomes the resource-bottleneck problem of traditional malicious traffic defenders which are deployed at the victim side,and also is free of labeled traffic data in model ***,we design a coarse-grained behavior model of Io T devices by self-supervised learning with unlabeled traffic ***,we fine-tune this model to improve its accuracy in malicious traffic detection by adopting a transfer learning method using a small amount of labeled *** results show that our method can achieve the accuracy of 99.52%and the F1-score of 99.52%with only 1%of the labeled training data based on the CICDDoS2019 ***,our method outperforms the stateof-the-art supervised learning-based methods in terms of accuracy,precision,recall and F1-score with 1%of the training data.

High sensitivity artificial synapses using printed high-transmittance ITO fibers for neuromorphic computing

Artificial synapses are essential building blocks for neuromorphic ***,solid polymer electrolyte-gated artificial synapses(EGASs)were fabricated using ITO fibers as channels,which possess an ultra-high sensitivity of 5 m V and a long-term memory time exceeding 3 ***,digitally printed ITO-fiber arrays exhibit an ultra-high transmittance of approximately 99.67%.Biological synaptic plasticity,such as excitatory postsynaptic current,paired-pulse facilitation,spike frequency-dependent plasticity,and synaptic potentiation and depression,were successfully mimicked using the *** on the synaptic properties of the EGASs,an artificial neural network was constructed to perform supervised learning using the Fashion-MNIST dataset,achieving high pattern recognition rate(82.39%)due to the linear and symmetric synaptic *** work provides insights into high-sensitivity artificial synapses for future neuromorphic computing.

Rivers provide key ecosystem services that are inherently engineered and optimized to meet the strategic and economic needs of countries around the ***,limited water quality records of a full river continuum hindered the understanding of how river systems response to the multiple stressors acting on *** study highlights the use of Sentinel-2 Multi-Spectral Imager(MSI)data to monitor changes in water color in two optically complex river systems:the Yangtze and Danube using the Forel-Ule Index(FUI).FUI divides water color into 21 classes from dark blue to yellowish brown stemming from the historical Forel-Ule water color scale and has been promoted as a useful indicator showing water turbidity variations in water *** results revealed contrasting water color patterns in the two rivers on both spatial and seasonal ***,the FUI of the Yangtze River gradually increased from the upper reaches to the lower reaches,while the FUI of the Danube River declined in the lower reaches,which is possibly due to the sediment sink effect of the Iron Gate *** regional FUI peaks and valleys observed in the two river systems have also been shown to be related to the dams and hydropower stations along ***,the variations of FUI in both systems can be attributed to climate seasonality,especially precipitation in the basin and the water ***,land cover within the river basin was possibly a significant determinant of water color,as higher levels of vegetation in the Danube basin were associated with lower FUI values,whereas higher FUI values and lower levels of vegetation were observed in the Yangtze *** study furthers our knowledge of using Sentinel-2 MSI to monitor and understand the spatial-temporal variations of river systems and highlights the capabilities of the FUI in an optically complex environment.

Highly anisotropic Dirac fermion and spin transport properties in Cu-graphane

Inspired by the successful synthesis of h Hv-graphane[Nano Lett.15903(2015)],a new two-dimensional(2D)Janus material Cu-graphane is proposed based on the first-principles *** the spin-orbit coupling(SOC)effect,Cu-graphane is a Dirac semimetal with a highly anisotropic Dirac cone,whose Fermi velocity ranges from 0.12×10^(5)m/s to2.9×10^(5)m/*** Dirac cone near the Fermi level can be well described with an extended 2D Dirac model *** the presence of the SOC effect,band splitting is observed around the Fermi level,and a large intrinsic spin Hall conductivity(ISHC)with a maximum value of 346(h/e)S/cm is ***,the spin Hall transport can be regulated by slightly adjusting the Fermi energy,e.g.,grid voltage or chemical *** work not only proposes a new 2D Janus material with a highly anisotropic Dirac cone and a large ISHC,but also reveals that a large ISHC may exist in some Dirac systems.
