The silicon carbide (SiC) power module is one of the most popular semiconductor devices in industrial applications with the enhanced current rating. In this paper, a 1200-V/200-A SiC three-level (3L) module with neutral point clamped (NPC) topology is designed and validated. Compared with other existing works, the drain current of the designed module is accurately measured by a custom-made current transformer (CT) combined with a commercially off-the-shelf current probe (CP), which is critical for power loss evaluation. Based on the simulation and experiment results, it can be found that the maximum internal commutation loop stray inductance is no more than 40 nH, and the total switching loss can be reduced more than 30% compared with the hybrid 3L NPC module (Si IGBTs+SiC SBDs). Meanwhile, the power loss evaluation demonstrates that the designed 3L NPC module with all-SiC device is more suitable for high-voltage and high-frequency applications compared with its 2L counterpart, and the thermal simulation shows that the maximum junction temperature is less than 120 °C when the module operates as a buck converter with V_DC = 600 V, I_o = 150 A, and f_s = 100 kHz. In addition, compared with the 2L module, the 3L one presents enhanced spectrum amplitude in the high frequency (HF) range (≥ 10 MHz) for the high-voltage applications, which indicates higher electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise. Then, two types of snubber circuits are used to suppress the HF oscillation of the SiC 3L NPC module and alleviate the EMI noise as well according to the experiment results. © 1972-2012 IEEE.

可持续发展目标(SDGs)呼吁全世界共同采取行动,促进繁荣并保护地球.本研究面向SDGs构建了环境、粮食和经济等可持续发展情景,预测2020~2030年丝绸之路沿线国家的土地利用变化,并分析其对陆地碳库的影响。研究表明:未来土地利用变化及其对陆地碳库的影响在不同情景下存在显著差异。在可持续环境情景下,林地得到了有效保护,相较于2020年中国林地碳储量增加了约0.60%;在可持续粮食情景下,耕地流失得到了缓解,尤其在南亚及东南亚地区的耕地面积呈现上升趋势:在可持续经济情景下,城市扩张速度加快,引起的碳损失量最多这项研究有助于推进丝绸之路沿线甚至全球可持续发展进程,为探寻可持续发展路径提供了科学依据。

We propose a major upgrade to the existing PandaX-4T experiment at the China Jinping Underground *** new experiment,PandaX-xT,will be a multi-ten-tonne liquid xenon,ultra-low background,and general-purpose *** full-scaled PandaX-xT contains a 43-t liquid xenon active *** an experiment will significantly advance our fundamental understanding of particle physics and *** sensitivity of dark matter direct detection will be improved by nearly two orders of magnitude compared to the current best limits,approaching the so-called“neutrino floor”for a dark matter mass above 10 GeV/c^(2),providing a key test to the Weakly Interacting Massive Particle *** searching for the neutrinoless double beta decay of^(136)Xe isotope in the detector,the effective Majorana neutrino mass can be measured to a 10-41 meV/c^(2) sensitivity,providing a key test to the Dirac/Majorana nature of *** neutrinos and other ultra-rare interactions can also be measured and searched for with an unprecedented background level,opening up new windows of *** on the findings,PandaX-xT will seek the next stage upgrade utilizing isotopic separation of natural xenon.

Introduction:Understanding the trophic interactions between plants and herbivorous insects is essential for managing the ecosystem health and sustainability in the context of climate change and anthropogenic *** Tamarix chinensis is a foundation plant species of salt marshes in northern China,which provides a variety of ecological functions and services in coastal ecosystems such as withstanding storm tide,conserving biodiversity,and preventing shoreline ***:However,through long-term field observations,for the first time,we found that the health of this population has been suffering from the potential outbreak of a novel wood-borer insect(Zeuzera leuconotum Butler)under multiple stresses,contributing substantially to the degradation of the coastal salt *** and Conclusion:Therefore,there is urgent need and great significance to investigate the potential impact of this herbivorous wood-borer insects on health and sustainability of plant community in coastal ecosystems for in-depth understanding its degradation mechanisms.

Biofilm-developed microplastics (MPs) may serve as important vectors for contaminants in aquatic environments. Elucidating the interactions between biofilm-developed MPs and coexisting contaminants is crucial for understanding the vector capacities of MPs. However, little is known about how the adverse effects of contaminants on MP surface-colonized biofilms influence their vector capacity. In this study, we aimed to investigate the interaction mechanism of biofilms colonizing the surface of MPs with coexisting contaminants using microcosm experiments and biofilm characterization techniques. The results indicated that the biofilm biomass on polystyrene increased over time, providing an additional abundance of oxygen-containing functional groups and promoting Cd accumulation by biofilm-developed polystyrene. Moreover, as a coexisting contaminant, Cd exerted adverse effects such as additional mortality of microorganisms and senescence and MP-colonized biofilm shedding. Consequently, the contaminant vector capacity of biofilm-developed MPs could be mitigated. Thus, the adverse effects of coexisting contaminants on biofilms influenced the ability of MPs to act as vectors in aquatic environments. Neglecting the negative effects of contaminants on biofilms may lead to an overestimation of the contaminant vector capacity of biofilm-developed MPs. This study provides support for more accurate assessment of the interactions between biofilm-developed MPs as vectors and contaminants in aquatic environments. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd

Prussian blue analogs (PBAs) are promising catalysts in heterogeneous oxidation processes. The catalytic activity of PBAs relies on exposed crystal facets and accessible active sites on the PBA framework. Employing a heteroatom doping strategy using a rare earth element (La), we regulated the crystal structure and optimized the catalytic activity of CoFe PBA for peroxymonosulfate (PMS)-driven degradation of the antibiotic norfloxacin (NOR). The La atoms were mainly doped in the interstitial sites of the CoFe PBA cubic lattices, without affecting the electron distributions of Co and Fe metals or the face-centered cubic crystal phase of the coordination skeleton. La doping dominated the (111) and (100) as the main exposed facets of CoFeLa PBA, increasing the affinity of CoFeLa PBAs for PMS adsorption due to the higher surface energy of the two facets. Consequently, the activation energy considerably declined from 77.57 kJ/mol in CoFe PBA to 51.66 kJ/mol in CoFeLa PBA and the catalytic activity for PMS-driven NOR degradation was largely improved. 1O2 was proven as the main reactive specie responsible for NOR degradation in the PMS/CoFeLa system, and O2·− and SO4·− were verified as the important intermediates to generate 1O2. Thus, La doping can effectively enhance the catalytic performance of PBA-based catalysts for organic pollutant removal. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

We proposed a facile method of using polyelectrolyte additive to tune interfacial polymerization reaction and tailor polyamide NF membrane with better separation performance and lower bio-fouling potential for groundwater treatment. A moderate concentration of negatively charged poly(4-styrene sulfonate) (PSS) was introduced to the aqueous phase solution during the interfacial polymerization of piperazine (PIP) and trimesoyl chloride (TMC). The presence of PSS confined the diffusion of PIP, leading to the formation of polyamide layer with a looser structure, increased thickness, and additional negative charges on the membrane surface. The fabricated TFC-P6 membrane possessed enhanced water permeance (21.8 ± 0.7 L m–2 h–1 bar–1) and better selectivity of calcium chloride over sodium sulfate which can be beneficial to achieve higher water recovery compared to the control TFC membrane. In addition, the TFC-P6 membrane demonstrated enhanced rejection of perfluorooctane sulfonate (~95%) and the biofouling was inhibited by its additional negative charge and smoother surface. Our results introduced a robust and scalable strategy of polyelectrolyte assisted interfacial polymerization for designing high performance NF membranes in groundwater treatment. © 2022, The Authors. With the improvement of public security awareness, it is of great value to establish an intelligent crowd screening video early warning system for community security. The method is to use artificial intelligence and big data technology to analyze the facial features of past people through video data in video surveillance. In this paper, the authors analyze the design of intelligent community security system based on visual tracking and large data natural language processing technology. Through JMF technology and video acquisition card, the signal can be transmitted from the matrix machine to the server of the system. In the process of transmission, we also need to use multi-threading technology and double buffer technology to compress video, which can improve the compression efficiency and reduce the CPU usage time. The information module is mainly responsible for receiving and playing video. This module needs JAVA technology which can receive video. Once the client requests monitoring, the client can immediately send relevant operation instructions to the server, and the server will return the corresponding video stream in time. Mapping global lake aquatic vegetation dynamics using 10-m resolution satellite observations

Aquatic vegetation is crucial for improving water quality,supporting fisheries and preserving biodiversity in *** the spatiotemporal dynamics of aquatic vegetation is indispensable for the assessment and protection of lake ***,a comprehensive global assessment of lacustrine aquatic vegetation is *** study introduces an automatic identification algorithm(with a total accuracy of 94.4%)for Sentinel-2 MSI,enabling the first-ever global mapping of aquatic vegetation distribution in 1.4 million lakes using 14.8 million images from 2019 to *** show that aquatic vegetation occurred in 81,116 lakes across six continents over the past four years,covering a cumulative maximum aquatic vegetation area(MVA)of 16,111.8 km^(2).The global median aquatic vegetation occurrence(VO,in%)is 3.0%,with notable higher values observed in South America(7.4%)and Africa(4.1%)compared with Asia(2.7%)and North America(2.4%).High VO is also observed in lakes near major rivers such as the Yangtze,Ob,and Paraná*** historical data with our calculated MVA,the aquatic vegetation changes in 170 lakes worldwide were *** shows that 72.4%(123/170)of lakes experienced a decline in aquatic vegetation from the early 1980s to 2022,encompassing both submerged and overall aquatic *** most substantial decrease is observed in Asia and *** findings suggest that,beyond lake algal blooms and temperature,the physical characteristics of the lakes and their surrounding environments could also influence aquatic vegetation *** research provides valuable information for the conservation and restoration of lacustrine aquatic vegetation.
