As technology continues to evolve rapidly, cybersecurity has become a critical global concern. The increasing sophistication of cyber threats poses significant risks to individuals, businesses, and governments. To combat these threats, cybersecurity tools play a crucial role in monitoring, detecting, and mitigating security risks in digital environments. These tools ensure data protection, prevent unauthorized access, and safeguard sensitive information. However, traditional cybersecurity approaches are struggling to keep pace with emerging cyber-attacks. In response, machine learning (ML) has emerged as a powerful solution for enhancing cybersecurity strategies. ML algorithms enable organizations to analyze large datasets, identify anomalies, and predict potential threats with greater accuracy. Cybersecurity tools, integrated with ML, act as the final line of defense against attacks such as data breaches, identity theft, and system intrusions. This research explores the application of ML in selecting and optimizing cybersecurity models for enterprise ICT systems. It also emphasizes the growing demand for skilled professionals who can develop and implement ML-based security solutions. The medical community has more concern on lung cancer *** experts’physical segmentation of lung cancers is time-consuming and needs to be *** research study’s objective is to diagnose lung tumors at an early stage to extend the life of humans using deep learning ***-Aided Diagnostic(CAD)system aids in the diagnosis and shortens the time necessary to detect the tumor *** application of Deep Neural Networks(DNN)has also been exhibited as an excellent and effective method in classification and segmentation *** research aims to separate lung cancers from images of Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)with threshold *** Honey hook process categorizes lung cancer based on characteristics retrieved using several *** this principle,the work presents a solution for image compression utilizing a Deep Wave Auto-Encoder(DWAE).The combination of the two approaches significantly reduces the overall size of the feature set required for any future classification process performed using *** proposed DWAE-DNN image classifier is applied to a lung imaging dataset with Radial Basis Function(RBF)*** study reported promising results with an accuracy of 97.34%,whereas using the Decision Tree(DT)classifier has an accuracy of 94.24%.The proposed approach(DWAE-DNN)is found to classify the images with an accuracy of 98.67%,either as malignant or normal *** contrast to the accuracy requirements,the work also uses the benchmark standards like specificity,sensitivity,and precision to evaluate the efficiency of the *** is found from an investigation that the DT classifier provides the maximum performance in the DWAE-DNN depending on the network’s performance on image testing,as shown by the data acquired by the categorizers themselves.

In digital security, Reversible Adversarial Examples (RAE) blend adversarial attacks with Reversible Data Hiding (RDH) within images to thwart unauthorized access. Traditional RAE methods, however, compromise attack efficiency for the sake of perturbation concealment, diminishing the protective capacity of valuable perturbations and limiting applications to white-box scenarios. This paper proposes a novel Dual-Phase merging Reversible Adversarial Example (DP-RAE) generation framework, combining a heuristic black-box attack and RDH with Grayscale Invariance (RDH-GI) technology. This dual strategy not only evaluates and harnesses the adversarial potential of past perturbations more effectively but also guarantees flawless embedding of perturbation information and complete recovery of the original image. Experimental validation reveals our method's superiority, secured an impressive 96.9% success rate and 100% recovery rate in compromising black-box models. In particular, it achieved a 90% misdirection rate against commercial models under a constrained number of queries. This marks the first successful attempt at targeted black-box reversible adversarial attacks for commercial recognition models. This achievement highlights our framework's capability to enhance security measures without sacrificing attack performance. Moreover, our attack framework is flexible, allowing the interchangeable use of different attack and RDH modules to meet advanced technological requirements. © 2024 ACM.

This paper discusses the use of node2vec graph embeddings to improve the performance of wide and deep recommenders by substituting the embedding layer with graph embeddings to leverage its representational power without major investments in migrating from current recommender systems. First, recommender systems importance in modern day platforms is discussed. Then, the magnitude of investment needed to deploy a recommender system into a production environment is discussed and finally, wide and deep recommenders and their importance in industry is outlined along with our experiments and results in improving its performance using graph embeddings, © 2023 IEEE.

The intuitive fuzzy set has found important application in decision-making and machine *** enrich and utilize the intuitive fuzzy set,this study designed and developed a deep neural network-based glaucoma eye detection using fuzzy difference equations in the domain where the retinal images *** image detections are categorized as normal eye recognition,suspected glaucomatous eye recognition,and glaucomatous eye *** degrees associated with weighted values are calculated to determine the level of concentration between the fuzzy partition and the retinal *** proposed model was used to diagnose glaucoma using retinal images and involved utilizing the Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)and deep learning to identify the fuzzy weighted regularization between *** methodology was used to clarify the input images and make them adequate for the process of glaucoma *** objective of this study was to propose a novel approach to the early diagnosis of glaucoma using the Fuzzy Expert System(FES)and Fuzzy differential equation(FDE).The intensities of the different regions in the images and their respective peak levels were *** the peak regions were identified,the recurrence relationships among those peaks were then *** partitioning was done due to varying degrees of similar and dissimilar concentrations in the *** and dissimilar concentration levels and spatial frequency generated a threshold image from the combined fuzzy matrix and *** distinguished between a normal and abnormal eye condition,thus detecting patients with glaucomatous eyes.

OpenStack is a cloud platform that offers infrastructure services, providing access to computing, storage, and network resources. However, due to its open-source nature, the cloud environment can be vulnerable to security threats. OpenStack security measures are generally applied to specific services, rather than being integrated comprehensively across the entire cloud environment. Despite offering flexibility and scalability, the widespread use of OpenStack calls for robust security solutions. Current intrusion detection systems often struggle to adapt to constantly evolving traffic patterns and attack vectors in the OpenStack environment. This study introduces a two-stage deep learning framework to create a robust Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for OpenStack-based private clouds. The proposed framework efficiently analyzes network traffic data in these clouds by implementing dimensionality reduction and anomaly detection techniques. It utilizes a network-based IDS, trained on two publicly available datasets, which enables a broader detection range of known attack patterns. The results indicate that the OpenStack IDS significantly enhances OpenStack's security, addressing the limitations of generic IDS solutions. © 2024 IEEE.

The balance between real-time and precision is a very important consideration in object detection. Based on this objective, we present YOLO-SE, a universal real-time multi-scale object detection framework that significantly improves detection accuracy and maintains real-time performance by integrating the Standardized Enhanced Layer Aggregation Network (SE-LAN) and Frontend and Backend Feature Enhancement Blocks (FBFEB). SELAN focuses more on internal feature modules to obtain more effective multilevel features. The Frontend and Backend Feature Enhancement Blocks fully consider the enhancements that can be made to the multilevel features before and after the neck, making full use of them. The experimental results on MS COCO 2017, trained from scratch, indicate that YOLO-SE outperforms existing mainstream real-time object detection models, including the YOLO series, under the premise of similar parameters and computational complexity. YOLO-SE achieves a 4.5% and 1.5% AP increase over YOLOv8-n and YOLOv8-MS-n, respectively, and a 0.8% AP increase over RTMDet-tiny. We have provided detailed performance comparisons in the article and visualized the Grad-CAM results to provide the most intuitive results. Additionally, our SELAN and FBFEB modules can be freely replaced based on the scene, serving as plug-and-play modules for other YOLO models.
