Energy is essential to practically all exercises and is imperative for the development of personal ***,valuable energy has been in great demand for many years,especially for using smart homes and structures,as individuals quickly improve their way of life depending on current ***,there is a shortage of energy,as the energy required is higher than that *** new plans are being designed to meet the consumer’s energy *** many regions,energy utilization in the housing area is 30%–40%.The growth of smart homes has raised the requirement for intelligence in applications such as asset management,energy-efficient automation,security,and healthcare monitoring to learn about residents’actions and forecast their future *** overcome the challenges of energy consumption optimization,in this study,we apply an energy management *** fusion has recently attracted much energy efficiency in buildings,where numerous types of information are *** proposed research developed a data fusion model to predict energy consumption for accuracy and miss *** results of the proposed approach are compared with those of the previously published techniques and found that the prediction accuracy of the proposed method is 92%,which is higher than the previously published approaches.

The Sunway family supercomputers have achieved a series of remarkable achievements. However, the toolchains provided by them are not perfect, which has brought great challenges to the development of high-performance application software. In this paper, a profiling and optimizing tool is proposed to assist people to analyze and optimize the performance of their programs. SWPFOPLD is independent of the application program and gathers the runtime performance data through the PMUs, an automatically hot functions rearrange optimization based on the performance data is furtherly accomplished. The evaluation shows that SWPFOPLD can be easily and effectively used to analyze and optimize the performance of the application programs.

In case of sharp road illumination changes, bad weather such as rain, snow or fog, wear or missing of the lane marking, the reflective water stain on the road surface, the shadow obstruction of the tree, and mixed lane markings and other signs, missing detection or wrong detection will occur for the traditional lane marking detection algorithm. In this manuscript, a lane marking detection algorithm based on high-precision map and multisensor fusion is proposed. The basic principle of the algorithm is to use the centimeter-level high-precision positioning combined with high-precision map data to complete the detection of lane markings. In the process of generating high-precision maps or in the uncovered areas of high-precision maps, LIDAR (LIght Detection And Ranging) is used to estimate the curvature of the road to assist in lane marking detection. The experimental results show that the algorithm has lower false detection rate in case of bad road conditions, and the algorithm is robust. © 2020 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

In this paper a microscopic hybrid automaton for Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) exhibiting psycho-physical human characteristics is introduced. The objective is to let the ACC mimic the human behavior to improve passenger experience, while assuring classical ACC properties. The human-inspired automaton is combined with a predictive control strategy in order to meet physical and safety constraints, as well as fuel minimization. An optimization problem is then formulated according to efficiency and constraints satisfaction. A receding horizon approach is implemented to solve the problem. Simulations are performed in order to validate the control law and to show the efficacy of the proposed approach. © 2020 EUCA.

Large Language Models (LLMs) have extensive ability to produce promising output. Nowadays, people are increasingly relying on them due to easy accessibility, rapid and outstanding outcomes. However, the use of these results without appropriate scrutiny poses serious security risks, particularly when they are integrated with other software, APIs, or plugins. This is because the LLM outputs are highly dependent on the prompts they receive. Therefore, it is essential to carefully clean these outputs before using them in additional software environments. This paper is designed to teach students about the potential dangers of contaminated LLM output within the context of web development through prelab, hands-on, and postlab experiences. Hands-on lab provides practical guidance on how to handle LLM vulnerabilities to make applications safe with some real-world examples in Python. This approach aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of the precautions necessary to ensure software against the vulnerabilities introduced by LLM output.

An efficient and secure arbitrary N-party quantum key agreement protocol using Bell states

Two quantum key agreement protocols using Bell states and Bell measurement were recently proposed by Shukla et al. [Quantum Inf. Process. 13, 2391(2014)]. However, Zhu et al. pointed out that there are some security flaws and proposed an improved version[Quantum Inf. Process. 14, 4245(2015)]. In this study, we will show Zhu et al.’s improvement still exists some security problems, and its efficiency is not high enough. For solving these problems, we utilize four Pauli operations {I, Z, X, Y } to encode two bits instead of the original two operations {I, X} to encode one bit, and then propose an efficient and secure arbitrary N-party quantum key agreement protocol. In the protocol, the channel checking with decoy single photons is introduced to avoid the eavesdropper’s flip attack, and a post-measurement mechanism is used to prevent against the collusion attack. The security analysis shows the present protocol can guarantee the correctness, security, privacy and fairness of quantum key agreement. © 2023, CC BY.

Performance Analysis of Event-Triggered Consensus Control for Multi-agent Systems under Cyber-Physical Attacks

This work presents a rigorous analysis of the adverse effects of cyber-physical attacks on the performance of multi-agent consensus with event-triggered control protocols. It is shown how a strategic malicious attack on sensors and actuators can deceive the triggering condition of both state-based event-triggered mechanism and combinational state-based event-triggered mechanism, which are commonplace and widely used in the literature. More precisely, it is first shown that a deception attack in the case of combinational state-based event-triggered mechanism can result in a non-triggering misbehavior, in the sense that the compromised agent does not trigger any event and consequently results in partial feedback disconnectivity by preventing information from reaching the local neighbors of the compromised agent. This indicates that the combinational state-based event-triggered mechanism can be leveraged by the attacker to harm the network connectivity by rendering the recent data unavailable to agents. It is then shown that the deception attack in the case of state-based event-triggered mechanism can result in a continuous-triggering misbehavior in the sense that the event-triggered mechanism continuously generates triggering events resulting in undesirable phenomenon of Zeno behavior. BaTiS3, a quasi-1D complex chalcogenide, has gathered considerable scientific and technological interest due to its giant optical anisotropy and electronic phase transitions. However, the synthesis of high-quality BaTiS3 crystals, particularly those featuring crystal sizes of millimeters or larger, remains a challenge. Here, we investigate the growth of BaTiS3 crystals utilizing a molten salt flux of either potassium iodide, or a mixture of barium chloride and barium iodide. The crystals obtained through this method exhibit a substantial increase in volume compared to those synthesized via the chemical vapor transport method, while preserving their intrinsic optical and electronic properties. Our flux growth method provides a promising route towards the production of high-quality, large-scale single crystals of BaTiS3, which will greatly facilitate advanced characterizations of BaTiS3 and its practical applications that require large crystal dimensions. Additionally, our approach offers an alternative synthetic route for other emerging complex chalcogenides. © 2024, CC BY.

In this paper, motivated by wide applications of observers in analyzing different properties of Finite State Machines (FSM), we propose a decomposition technique into subobservers and show how its use can reduce the computational cost of checking properties of FSM that need the design of an observer. We define the notion of total indistinguishability and use the notion of critical observability for the design of the sub-observers. Switching observers are introduced which are constructed by appropriately switching among the set of sub-observers, thereby allowing a traditional observer to be replaced by sub-observers. The methodology is applied to check opacity. An example is also presented to illustrate the results.

For reliable operation, next generation autonomous agents will need enhanced situational perception as well as precise navigation capabilities. The global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals that are utilized by practically all modern positioning systems cannot satisfy this requirement for heighten autonomy levels and positioning is becoming a decisive factor for their proliferation. This work investigates how relative positioning can be achieved using signals that are already accessible in the environment, and derives an online procedure for the exploitation of these signals for localization in GNSS-challenged areas. The proposed relative positioning system (RPS) explores the signal properties over a large spectrum of frequency bands, and derives a vehicle tracking algorithm to accurately estimate the vehicle's trajectory in space and time using an arbitrary set of unknown reference positions. Experimental results demonstrate the applicability of RPS and investigate its performance over the different parameter values. © 2020 IEEE.
