This paper aims to propose a fallback system isolated from man-in-the-middle attack (MITM) for networked controlsystems. In this paper, fallback is an incident response of the controlsystem in which facilities are preferentially protected and a minimal system operates during MITM. Since the communication contents of the networked controlsystems can be tampered with by MITM, the proposed system named a "fallback system" is installed in a control target side, and the fallback system detects MITM without the communication contents. This system detects MITM based on the bilinear observer and switched Lyapunov function. When MITM is detected, normal operation is switched to fallback operation automatically. As a first step of this study, a selector and a fallback unit of the fallback system are developed. A practical experiment simulating a simple defective discriminator is shown.

In this paper, a cooperation method between wind farm and Electric vehicle battery switch station (EVBSS) was proposed. In the pursuit of maximizing their own benefits, the cooperation between wind farm and EVBSS was formulated as a Stackelberg game model by treating them as decision makers in different status. As the leader, wind farm will determine the charging/discharging price to induce the charging and discharging behavior of EVBSS reasonably. Through peak load shifting, wind farm could increase its profits by selling more wind power to the power grid during time interval with a higher purchase price. As the follower, EVBSS will charge or discharge according to the price determined by wind farm. Through optimizing the charging /discharging strategy, EVBSS will try to charge with a lower price and discharge with a higher price in order to increase its profits. Since the possible charging /discharging strategy of EVBSS is known, the wind farm will take the strategy into consideration while deciding the charging /discharging price, and will adjust the price accordingly to increase its profits. The case study proved that the proposed cooperation method and model were feasible and effective.

In this study, a control strategy to improve the fuel economy was proposed for a PHEV(plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) considering driver tendency. To identify the driver tendency, a driver model which reflects the driver tendency was developed using the driving data. The target PHEV model was developed based on MATLAB/Simulink and validation of the vehicle model was performed by experiments. From the driving data, the driver model which can reflect the driver tendency was developed. To describe the driver tendency, degree of driver aggression(DDA) was proposed, which was determined by fuzzy logic. Using the DDA, a PHEV control algorithm was proposed to improve the fuel economy, which consists of the engine on/off and battery charge-engine operation. The engine on/off control reduces frequent engine on/off for a high DDA(wild driver), whereas the battery charge-engine operation controls the engine operation by considering both the engine thermal efficiency and powertrain efficiency to maintain the battery SOC. It is expected that proposed control algorithm provides improved fuel economy of the target PHEV.

Aiming at the chiller process variables cannot be strictly obey the Gauss distribution,and the large number of variables between the serious correlation,this paper describes a fault detection method to detect the faults of *** Component Analysis(ICA) approach is used to extract the correlation of variables of chiller and reduce the dimension of measured data.A ICA-based method model is built to determine the thresholds of statistics and calculate statistics I2 and SPE,which are used to check if a fault occurs in *** method is validated using the laboratory data from ASHRAE RP-1043 and compared with Principle Component Analysis(PCA).Results show that the ICA-based method has better fault detection performance of *** has very good sensitivity for early fault and can effectively reduce the false alarm rate.

This paper proposed the FSVM (Fuzzy Support Vector Machine) based on affinity to achieve the intelligent wheelchair motion control. The gravity center, which can be computed by calculating the weights of four force sensors under the wheelchair seat, is the key factor to determine the intention of movement of the user. The improved fuzzy membership function of FSVM can reduce the effect of clustering gravity center caused by abnormal clustering gravity center data generated from malfunction. Comparing with the traditional SVM (Support Vector Machine), the improved FSVM algorithm has lower error rate. This paper further validates the practical feasibility and validity of the proposed control algorithm. The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the precision of omnidirectional intelligent wheelchair motion control.
