Classical computing (CC) takes place in the binary form of 0 and 1, whereas Quantum computing (QC) takes place adhering to fundamental principles of quantum mechanics, i.e., superposition, entanglement, and tunneling. Humanity is in the race to show that QC is better than CC in terms of time, accuracy, and memory requirements. But since Fault-Tolerant QC hardware with solving problems computationally exhaustive for today’s CC are out of reach, we in this paper emulate Use case of the Recommendation System on Quantum Singular Value Transform Framework (QSVT) of Quantum-Inspired Machine Learning (QiML) on CPU using the Qiskit Library, pyqsp library and have shown a quantum advantage in terms of accuracy, in terms of time and memory requirement classical implementation is a winner as computations in the Quantum Emulations are larger owing to unitary matrix conversions of input matrix and considerable depths, but these depths can be reduced to approximate the target polynomial function in which case the Quantum Implementation is comparable to/better than its counterpart at cost of *** entanglement principle of QM is used in the QSVT Circuit for entangling the QSVT Qubit with unitary Qubits by using the CNOT gates. Also, the entanglement principle is inherently present in the Input User Preference Rating Unitary Matrix as well, if the exact tensor decomposition at a break-off qubit length of the input user preference unitary matrix is not *** input quantum state of our QSVT circuit can be initialized to the superposition of input user states to access all the items corresponding to all the users in one run of the circuit. Hence by using the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics, we have shown quantum advantage over classical implementation in terms of accuracy. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Traditional network strategies are not proving enough to tackle the huge demand to manage and configure IoT networks. A large number of heterogeneous nodes getting added to the network lead to massive data traffic. Network vendors are already struggling with the control of overloaded networks. This is where Software Defined Network (SDN) as an alternate network management strategy can prove to be vital. SDN enables the virtualization of networks and services, which enables rapid and automatic reconfiguration of network devices, rerouting of traffic, new access rules etc. In this paper, we adapt an SDN framework to fulfill the typical requirements of a Smart Water Distribution network. We set up a Mininet and POX controller-based simulation environment and use them to create a Smart Water Distribution network. We successfully use the simulated network to demonstrate load balancing, firewall, and network re-configuration applications followed by a discussion on future work. © 2023 IEEE.

According to data provided by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH), Government of India, about 1.68 lakh people have lost their lives in accidents and nearly 4.4 lakh people have suffered injuries [1]. The number of accidents has increased by approximately 12% year on year. The data also show that people affected by accidents are likely to be in the age group of 15 to 49 years. This age group is virtually the pillar that supports the nation's development. Therefore, road fatalities can indirectly influence the nations development. In this work, we have implemented a system aimed towards powered two-wheelers (PTWs) that detects accidents and sends an SOS signal to a preconfigured contact. The system, upon detecting an accident/critical event, can attempt to convey the SOS signal in multiple modalities for redundancy. The SOS signal includes the last known GNSS coordinates of the vehicle to be able to pinpoint the location of the incident. The system also has a manual SOS trigger option that can be used as a panic button. Detection is performed by a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based classifier running on the system using Edge AI capability that uses sensory output from an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and its derivative data for input features. In this work, we have experimented with the possibility of improving the classification performance of the classifier by augmenting the input feature set with Multivariate Cumulative Summation (MCUSUM) [2] control chart statistic of the IMU data. The results show that this technique can give marked improvements in the overall accuracy of the classification system. © 2025 IEEE.

In today's fast-paced world of technology, we rely on digital interactions more than ever. But with this convenience comes a growing need for security and trust. As we navigate our daily lives online, issues such as data breaches, unauthorized access, and fraud are real concerns that can affect us all. It is vital to prioritize the safety of our digital experiences to build the trust we need to thrive in this digital age. These challenges are particularly acute in the management of personal health records (PHRs), where existing centralized systems do not offer reliable, easily traceable, and securely managed control over patient's medical data. This paper explores the revolutionary capabilities of blockchain technology in addressing the critical shortcomings of traditional PHR management systems. The unique characteristics of the blockchain are decentralization, security, immutability, transparency, and anonymity, which presents a groundbreaking solution to the issues plaguing current systems. By eliminating the risks associated with centralized data storage, blockchain provides a secure and transparent platform for managing health records, ensuring that they remain tamper-proof. The literature survey conducted in this paper examines various research studies that have proposed and explored Blockchain-based solutions for health record management. These studies highlight the significant advantages of blockchain, including enhanced data integrity, privacy, and patient control over health information. Comparative analysis underscores the need for a paradigm shift from centralized to decentralized systems that enhance both the security and efficiency of managing health records. © 2025 IEEE.

Machine learning models for quantum computers are more powerful in providing faster computation, and better generalization with fewer data achieving potential quantum advantage. This paper focuses on the most important quantum machine learning algorithms for the quantum environments. Quantum machine learning is applied to the data generated from quantum experiments and is capable of learning some properties from quantum states under certain conditions. Quantum machine learning algorithms map the input dataset to a higher dimensional feature space using kernel functions. This paper also highlights the learning algorithm on quantum state which are proven for their efficiency using multiple copies of quantum states. The advent of computers has significantly diminished the need for manual computation. As technology has evolved, it has led to the creation of classical computers with high performance, throughput, and memory capacity. Classical computers store data in binary format, using bits that can either be 0 or 1, typically represented by low and high voltage levels, respectively. While effective, this method sometimes demands considerable resources for certain computations. In contrast, quantum computers represent the cutting edge of computing technology. They utilize quantum bits or qubits, which exploit quantum mechanical phenomena like superposition and entanglement, allowing for more efficient problem-solving. This paper presents a simplified overview of the core concepts of quantum computing. © 2025 IEEE.

The quantum circuit simulator on HPC system plays a key role in algorithm implementation, algorithm design, quantum education, and associated other research areas. In this work, we have implemented cuQuantum for accelerating quantum computing workflows on 64-bit floating point and TensorFloat-32-based accelerated system. The commonly used quantum algorithms like Shor’s, quantum Fourier transformation (QFT), and Sycamore circuit are implemented on HPC-AI system. These algorithms are further accelerated using cuQuantum. The observed performance for GPU-enabled circuits increases linearly on 2, 4, and 8 A100 GPUs for the given qubit size. GPU-enabled performance obtained on PARAM Siddhi AI system is compared with those observed from CPU only run as well as observed from the previous generation volta architecture (V100) GPUs. For Shor, QFT, Sycamore circuits, the relative speedup (qubits) between eight A100 GPU enabled run and CPU only run and is observed as ~143x(30), ~115x(32), ~104x(32) respectively. Similarly, the relative speedup (qubits), between 4 V100 GPU enabled run and CPU run observed as ~43x(30), ~29x(32), and 24x(32) respectively. In view of the better compute capability and memory, the relative performance between four A100 and four V100 GPUs varies from 1.5x to 2.2x for all the three algorithms. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Through the observation of individual animal behavior, precision technologies are growing in the context of livestock farming to enhance management techniques and the health and well-being of cattle [1]-[3]. Numerous priority areas can be addressed by consistently gathering data on cattle behavior. The study was conducted to predict the behavioral pattern of cattle using a self-developed prototype model. This study confirmed that the prototype model, i.e., i) a Bluetooth-based cattle node with a neck collar, ii) a low-cost networked software architecture, and iii) a processing algorithm, may enhance livestock management. The low-power Bluetooth protocols provide a dependable data transfer module between the gateway and the node linked to the cow. This low-cost device might be valuable for quick and real-time implementations. A comparison study was made between annotated data and AI-ML algorithms, which showed a significant outcome. So, in this work, an advanced node-based health monitoring module is presented to correctly predict the behavioral parameters of individual cattle, which may help to predict health status far in advance. © 2023 IEEE.
