Wind is considered as the renewable energy resource which consists of high state of efficiency with low pollution. The accurate level of forecasting can reduce the minimal range of losses and risk in the unrealizable factor. High energy of wind powers are defined where it comprises with the challenges in the power systems and other variability in generating the power. One of the key factors of the electricity supply is wind forecasting. It implies with the several improvements where many literatures have initially developed new technologies to forecast the wind power. A different range of forecast are been developed and are been categorized according to the expected production. These are indicated using the power productivity potential over the state of time interval. In this research paper, an overview of the different technologies used in the wind power forecasting are been discussed. This paper mainly focuses upon the research work of different literature review and their principles with the practical development. Based upon the categories, the futuristic development of each wind forecasting are been directed accordingly.

Dental caries is one of the most serious dental health issues affecting people of all ages. It is an infectious disease that degrades tooth structure because of dental cavities. Due to constraints such as the enormous amount of money and time required, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used in medical research in the field of oral healthcare. Deep learning (DL), an AI branch, is currently a growing field that is widely used in dentistry. DL is a solid foundation for dentists to give better, more efficient care to patients while also saving time. AI supports dentists in meeting patients' expectations while also ensuring excellent treatment and better oral health care. Furthermore, DL can predict clinical case failures and propose dependable therapies. This strategy aids in lowering morbidity rates and improving the quality of dental care in the population. Using transfer learning techniques, this study aims to automate the detection of dental cavities. The two transfer learning algorithms used are Res Net50 and Mobile Net. 395 normal and 395 caries dental images from Kaggle are used to develop the transfer learning model. The optimal model is determined by examining both transfer learning models. The Mobile Net gives the highest accuracy when compared with Res Net50. The accuracy rate achieved by the Mobile Net model is 96.12%. © 2022 IEEE.

Water plays a vital role in preserving and giving us a quality life, which has an impact on the people in day-to-day activities such as household and other productive purposes. In tribal areas where the resource-settings are limited, implementation of an organized water accessible system has an impact on the health and sanitation related problems. There has been an alarming awareness that is essential, to have a public water distribution system possessing a high service reliability among the policy makers in the health centers as well as various higher authorities which implement various programs through organizations which help to facilitate basic requirements of the people in tribal areas. A qualitative study was conducted in Barapita village in the Khordha district of Odisha. The interviews conducted were analyzed using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) tools, AEIOU frameworks, personas and direct observation using the six senses. The cardinal problem statement identified is the lack of any water distribution plan in the village, despite being in the vicinity of one of the largest dams in Odisha (DERAS). The perceptions and experiences shared by ward members of the village suggests the need for the implementation of an organized and sustainable water accessible system. The well- being of the tribal people depends upon efficient watershed management which helps to improve the socio-economic conditions that has a positive impact in the overall development of the village. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The problem of efficient trajectory optimisation for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVS) in dynamic and constrained environments is one where energy efficiency, spatial coverage, and path smoothness need to be balanced. The existing methods, namely RRT*, A*, and Dijkstra, are popular but generally heuristic and do not provide globally optimal solutions. They face significant limitations while dealing with complex geometries, dynamic obstacles, and multi-objective requirements. These challenges call for a mathematically sound framework that seamlessly integrates convex analysis and computational geometry to provide an optimal trajectory planning framework. This research work introduces a convex optimisation framework for UAV trajectory planning which unifies multiple objectives, like minimising energy consumption, maximising spatial coverage, and ensuring the smoothness of the path, into a single convex objective function. More importantly, it indicates that obstacle dynamics and uncertain environmental conditions are handled better by it, so it is relatively easier for safe and efficient navigation. Proven to converge faster and with higher precision than RRT*, A*, and Dijkstra, the approach proposed here enjoys intrinsic convex properties, which ensure global optimality. Qualitative measurements show the efficiency of the proposed framework. The result is energy efficiency of 90%, with 92% coverage, 98% constraint satisfaction, and 95% path smoothness, which is 15-25% better on all metrics than traditional approaches can offer. By bridging between theory in convex optimisation and practice for solving multi-objective problems in a dynamic setting, this study provides a more robust solution for UAV trajectory planning. © 2025 The Author(s)

Normally images obtained from satellites are of low-contrast type which hides major information carried by the image. Hence, image restoration is necessary in the image processing domain to extract all the information present in the images. The low contrast satellite image restoration based on adaptive histogram equalization combined with Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is proposed in this paper. The proposed technique is experimented on three different satellite images. The effectiveness of the method introduced in this paper is shown by comparing it against the existing techniques based on gamma correction and histogram equalization combined with DCT and DWT. The comparison is done based on the standard parameters called Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Standard Deviation. The result and analysis on the basis of PSNR values shows that adaptive histogram equalization combined with DWT is more effective approach compared to adaptive histogram equalization combined with DCT. © 2016 IEEE.

Image classification using kernels have very great importance in remote sensing data. The goal of this work is to efficiently classify the large set of aerial images into different classes. This paper introduces a kernel based classification for aerial images. It uses Grand Unified Regularized Least Square (GURLS) and library for support vector machines (LIBSVM). This paper compares the performance of different kernel methods used in GURLS and LIBSVM. The experiment is performed on three sets of aerial image data sets which are obtained from electrical engineering department of Banja Luka University under the DSP laboratory, funded by the WUSAUSTRIA project of the European Union. From the experiment performed, it can be deduced that GURLS library is better compared to LIBSVM in terms of its prediction accuracy. The advantage of GURLS library package over LIBSVM is its automatic parameter selection. © 2016 IEEE.

Increasing power requirements lead the way for the development of new innovative ideas to generate electricity like the introduction of solar power satellites. This system consists of a number of satellites such that the maximum solar energy is collected. This energy is then converted to electromagnetic beams and transmitted to Earth wirelessly. Simultaneous wireless power and data transmission is performed for better efficiency. There are some external forces which act on the satellite formation, as a result of which they are deviated from their orbit. The orbital elements of the formation and the perturbing forces which they are acted upon are determined. A periodic variation on the orbital elements is observed. The receiver on the Earth station, called the rectenna, is designed to collect both wireless power and data simultaneously. A novel design for the solar power satellite formation in a low earth orbit has been proposed. © 2016 IEEE.

In today's world, X-ray imaging is the low cost diagnostic technique when compared with all other medical imaging techniques. In this paper, the proposed method is to classify X-ray images based on tumor. The features are extracted using Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) and classified using different kernels in Library for Support Vector Machine (Lib-SVM) and Grand Unified Regularized Least Squares (GURLS). The proposed method is experimented on X-ray image dataset which is approved by an Oncologist. The effectiveness of proposed method is validated based on classification parameters. The experiment result analysis shows that Gaussian-ho in GURLS provides 95% classification accuracy which is 5% higher than RBF kernel in LibSVM. The performance of the proposed system is validated by an Oncologist. © 2016 IEEE.

Due to proliferating harmonic pollution in the power system, analysis and monitoring of harmonic variation in real-time have become important. In this paper, a novel approach for estimation of fundamental frequency in power system is discussed. In this method, the fundamental frequency component of the signal is extracted using Empirical Wavelet Transform. The extracted component is then projected onto fourier basis, where the frequency is estimated to a resolution of 0.001 Hz. The proposed approach gives an accurate frequency estimate compared with some existing methods. © Springer India 2016.
