This research work presents a novel language intervention system for Tamil-speaking children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The system satisfies the considerable requirement for tools aimed at one more section of population that has actually been forgotten by mainstream economics. Traditional language learning applications often lack specificity for diverse linguistic contexts, focusing on general learning rather than the unique challenges faced by ASD children. The proposed solution leverages Deep Learning (DL) modules to transform partial spoken Tamil words into complete, child-friendly vocabulary. This system goes beyond simple word completion;it incorporates interactive features to engage children with ASD and promote active learning. Preliminary evaluations yielded promising results, suggesting the system's potential in enhancing communication skills among Tamil-speaking children with ASD. This paper research study reviews the limitations of existing language learning tools and the rationale behind employing a DL-based approach. We discuss the specific DL architecture (e.g., Recurrent Neural Networks) envisioned for the system and how it will be trained on a corpus of Tamil speech data. This study also investigate the potential advantages beyond vocabulary learning, such as improved sentence formulation and the development of practical language abilities. Future ambitions include broadening the system's scope to include more languages, refining the DL model through ongoing training with enriched datasets, and conducting extensive user research with varied ASD populations. Validation across demographics is critical to ensuring the system's efficiency and generality. This research has the potential to bridge the language acquisition gap for Tamil-speaking children with ASD, empowering them to develop crucial communication skills and fostering their social inclusion. © 2024 IEEE.

Consumer segmentation is essential for accurate targeting and successful marketing efforts in today’s competitive business environment. Modern marketing groups individuals by interests and attributes. Segmentation drives targeting, personalization, and ROI. This article segments customers using K-means clustering. The Elbow approach and Silhouette score determine the appropriate number of clusters and increase segmentation accuracy. They also examine the possibility of precision targeting and customized marketing techniques across sectors. Businesses may optimize marketing, improve customer happiness, and increase profits by using K-means clustering. To compete in today’s market, this research helps marketers enhance targeting. Treemaps are a popular representation to show hierarchical as well as part-to-whole relationships in data. While most students are aware of node-link representations/network diagrams based on their K-12 education, treemaps are often a novel representation to them. We present our experience of developing a software using principles from constructivism to help students understand treemaps using linked, side-by-side views of a node-link diagram and a treemap of the same data. Based on the qualitative survey conducted at the end of the intervention, students found the linked views to be beneficial for understanding hierarchical representation of data using treemaps. © 2023 The Authors.

According to research by the world health organization (WHO), approximately 0.63% of children are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). ASD commonly emerges during childhood and persists through adolescence and adulthood. Early detection of ASD is crucial as it can lead to effective interventions and improved outcomes. Machine learning and deep learning techniques have gained significant recognition for their efficacy in various fields including biomedicine and medicine. These models offer valuable tools for data interpretation in clinical diagnostics and decision-making processes. Consequently, researchers emphasize the utility of both machine learning and deep learning methods for disease screening. This study aims to leverage both machine learning and deep learning techniques to classify ASD cases using a dataset sourced from the UCI repository. The dataset encompasses pediatric cases. The classification task employed k-nearest neighbors' algorithm (k-NN), support vector machine (SVM), and convolutional neural network (CNN). Among these, CNN outperformed SVM and k-NN, achieving a remarkable accuracy of 99.71%. © 2023 IEEE.

Accurate detection and trajectory prediction of moving vehicles are essential for motion planning in autonomous driving systems. While traffic regulations provide clear boundaries, real-world scenarios remain unpredictable due to the complex interactions between vehicles. This challenge has driven significant interest in learning-based approaches for trajectory prediction. We present MMTraP: Multi-Sensor and Multi-Agent Trajectory Prediction in BEV. This method integrates camera, LiDAR, and radar data to create detailed Bird's-Eye-View representations of driving scenes. Our approach employs a hierarchical vector transformer architecture that first detects and classifies vehicle motion patterns before predicting future trajectories through spatiotemporal relationship modeling. This work specifically focuses on vehicle interactions and environmental constraints. Despite its significance, multi-agent trajectory prediction and moving object segmentation are still underexplored in the literature, especially in real-time applications. Our method leverages multisensor fusion to obtain precise BEV representations and predict vehicle trajectories. Our multi-sensor fusion approach achieves the highest vehicle Intersection over Union (IoU) of 63.23% and an overall mean IoU (mIoU) of 64.63%, demonstrating its effectiveness in utilizing all available sensor modalities. Additionally, we demonstrate vehicle segmentation and trajectory prediction capabilities across various lighting and weather conditions. The proposed approach has been rigorously evaluated using the nuScenes dataset. Results show that our method improves the accuracy of trajectory predictions and outperforms state-of-the-art techniques, particularly in challenging environments such as congested urban areas. For instance, in complex traffic scenarios, our approach achieves a relative improvement of 5% in trajectory prediction accuracy compared to baseline methods.. In the paper, we consider the general semantic transmission in wireless networks based on probability distribution. Firstly, we extract a multidimensional semantic probability distribution function, independent of any a specific wireless channel model, by using the variational inference technique. Secondly, we propose a new semantic similarity metric for measuring the difference between the received semantics and the expected semantics based on Kullback-Leibler divergence. Then, we formulate the semantic transmission problem as an optimization problem of transmission symbol adjustment with the aim to maximize the semantic similarity. Finally, we develop an optimal semantic transformation and transmission (STT) algorithm to obtain the optimal transmission symbol adjustment decision. This decision makes the closed-form expression of semantic transmission symbol available, which can realize lossless semantic transmission with energy constraint. Simulation results verify the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed STT algorithm. © 2025 IEEE.

Internet of Things connectivity in home health monitoring is a high-in-demand application area. The electronics industry and procedural researchers seek high-end, secured, on-time, cost-effective ways to build reliable quality of service (QoS) proved autonomous systems using existing wireless techniques. Also, the continuous availability of a traffic-free gateway, particularly in isolated places, is necessary for large-scale data gathering and real-time data update processes to function the sensor nodes in an Internet of Things (IoT) network. Improved Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) is one of the most desirable networks offered by 6th generation (6G) connectivity in IoT-associated remote-monitoring proceedings. In this article, we propose a QoS-aware narrow bandwidth allocation-based prototype model for healthcare monitoring in long-distance high-speed trains during the patient transfer from home to the healthcare center or vice versa. This article demonstrates a possible enhancement in social aspects of cognitive IoT applications with large data systems in industrial informatics. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

Plant disease detection is a crucial task in agriculture to ensure healthy crop production. It is vital to identify plant diseases early in order to avert economic and environmental damages. A Machine learning-based approach including Deep Learning techniques for identifying plant disease was developed using Grape leaf images in this work. Inception v3, Squeezenet, VGG-16, and VGG-19 are some embedders that are used in the suggested method to convert raw image data into a fixed-length vector representation, also known as a 'embedding' or 'feature vector.' Our research concludes that CNN stands out with exceptional accuracy above 99.70% compared to classifiers like Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, and SVM. Additionally, Inception V3 proved to be an efficient feature extractor, enhancing feature representation and reducing processing time. © 2023 IEEE.

The Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA)is a swarm intelligence metaheuristic inspired by the bubble-net hunting tactic of humpback *** spite of its popularity due to simplicity,ease of implementation,and a limited number of parameters,WOA’s search strategy can adversely affect the convergence and equilibrium between exploration and exploitation in complex *** address this limitation,we propose a new algorithm called Multi-trial Vector-based Whale Optimization Algorithm(MTV-WOA)that incorporates a Balancing Strategy-based Trial-vector Producer(BS_TVP),a Local Strategy-based Trial-vector Producer(LS_TVP),and a Global Strategy-based Trial-vector Producer(GS_TVP)to address real-world optimization problems of varied degrees of ***-WOA has the potential to enhance exploitation and exploration,reduce the probability of being stranded in local optima,and preserve the equilibrium between exploration and *** the purpose of evaluating the proposed algorithm's performance,it is compared to eight metaheuristic algorithms utilizing CEC 2018 test ***,MTV-WOA is compared with well-stablished,recent,and WOA variant *** experimental results demonstrate that MTV-WOA surpasses comparative algorithms in terms of the accuracy of the solutions and convergence ***,we conducted the Friedman test to assess the gained results statistically and observed that MTV-WOA significantly outperforms comparative ***,we solved five engineering design problems to demonstrate the practicality of *** results indicate that the proposed MTV-WOA can efficiently address the complexities of engineering challenges and provide superior solutions that are superior to those of other algorithms.
