SONAR transducers that are used for underwater object detection and navigation applications require pulse power in the range of ten to hundreds of kilowatts with variable frequency and amplitude electrical signals. This is typically implemented with several stages of converters at the heart of which is the DC-AC Class-D Power Amplifiers which in turn is supplied by a suitable DC-DC converter such as Phase Shifted Full Bridge (PSFB) converter. The pulse powered operation can be realized by either varying the modulation index or by controlling the input DC source of the Power Amplifier. However, delivering higher power in short bursts of few milliseconds requires precise control of the DC-DC converter transients. Phase Shifted Full Bridge converter is one of the most efficient DC-DC converter that is capable of delivering variable power by varying the phase shifted operation. An attempt is made in this paper to study the performance of various compensators for the PSFB control and thereby arrive at selection and design methodology of suitable compensator as per the application requirement. The PSFB plant model is validated by comparing with the small signal frequency response obtained from the PLECS simulation platform. For the obtained plant model, design and analysis of various compensators is presented and its performance is evaluated through experimental results. © 2023 IEEE.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a non-invasive and efficient technique to visualize the various parts of the body. One of the major problems facing MRI as with any other medical imaging techniques is the noise and artifacts that affects it. This in turn can affect the accuracy of the diagnosis. Denoising is therefore an important part of medical image analysis. Denoising is a post-processing imaging technique aimed to achieve better diagnostic interpretation of medical images. Non-local Means is an efficient image denoising technique that exploits the self-similarity in images. Non-local Bayesian denoising combines non-local means denoising with Bayesian inference. This paper expands upon this approach for Magnetic Resonance Images. The performance of the method is measured quantitatively by means of Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR). In this patch-based approach, the number of patches taken is varied and the PSNR is calculated for different standard deviation of Gaussian noise. Other parameters like search radius and patch size are also varied to evaluate their effect on the performance. An empirically obtained patch count and search radius has been shown to provide optimum denoising results for Magnetic Resonance Images. © 2023 IEEE.

Additionally, it incorporates voice functionality to improve accessibility for users with learning disabilities or literacy challenges. Unlike existing solutions, this chatbot is uniquely designed for agriculture, offering free, portable, and reliable guidance on farming techniques and related topics. By empowering farmers to make informed decisions about crop selection, pest management, and irrigation methods, the system aims to promote sustainable farming practices and enhance financial outcomes. The research methodology includes data preparation, model selection, and the implementation of a knowledge graph memory base. The development of APIs and databases ensures effective communication and user engagement, with comprehensive testing validating the system's functionality, performance, and accuracy in diverse scenarios. This paper highlights the potential of advanced technologies in creating specialized agricultural chatbots, providing a promising approach to disseminate agricultural knowledge and support stakeholders in the sector. © 2024 IEEE.

Hyperledger Fabric is becoming the most popular blockchain framework used by enterprises and medium-sized companies. Blockchain technology is used for many different domains like finance, voting service, land record etc. Blockchain innovation is a self-executing program called Smart Contract. Hyperledger fabric uses programming languages like ***, Java, and GO to implement smart contracts also called chaincode. Smart contracts are programmed to moderate critical transactions between individuals or organizations because terms and conditions embedded in the contract will be executed when certain conditions are met. So smart contract needs to be analyzed before deployment to ensure zero vulnerabilities and flaws on the blockchain application, their execution is critical against attacks which aim at stealing assets. Hence security auditing is an essential part of smart contract development. This paper proposes a static code analysis tool for smart contracts named as UBF-ChaincodeScan which helps to identify security risks in the smart contract code written in *** and GO language. © 2023 IEEE.

Simulation of blood flow in arteries is an extensive topic of research to study various hemodynamic factors in CFD. This paper studies two different degrees of stenosis (less than 50 and 80% by flow area) that have been extracted from real images. The pulsatile nature of the blood flow has been considered. Changes in velocity flow patterns and wall shear stress for the two cases have been studied. Results show that the peak velocity increases drastically as the stenosis area increases to 80%. Negative velocity near the walls of the artery shows flow separation. This value also increases with the increase in stenosis area. This is seen in almost all regions of the cardiac cycle except in the accelerating flow region. With the increase in stenosis area, wall shear stress (WSS) rises drastically. Negative wall shear stress seen downstream of stenosis also indicates recirculation. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

In marine seismic surveys the data is acquired using end-on shooting geometry. The RTM method for end-on shot gathers often results in high-quality images, but occasionally, some dips may be missing or limited on the migrated section. In this paper, we employ the well-known principle of reciprocity in an efficient manner to showcase that a pseudo split-spread shot gather can be created using existing one-sided offset shot gathers. Further, we demonstrate that using generated pseudo split-spread shot gathers, RTM imaging of dipping events lead to significant improvement when compared to using recorded end-on shot gathers. The effectiveness of the proposed approach was successfully tested using both synthetic and field data examples. © (2023) by the European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers (EAGE). In recent years many applications have moved to blockchain-based services due to the increased popularity of blockchain technology. The implementation of this technology in numerous domain applications, such as finance, health management, land record registration, etc. As a result, data security and privacy are essential requirements of the Blockchain platform for protecting users' sensitive data and code. In this paper, a database security framework is proposed specifically tailored for Blockchain-based solutions, including projects based on Hyperledger. Furthermore, this framework detects vulnerabilities in MongoDB and CouchDB and suggests remedial actions. The solution identifies missing patches, exposed Config API, unauthorized changes, misconfigured privileges, and more. © 2023 IEEE.

Indian Sign Language (ISL) is used as the mode of communication among deaf people in India. Currently videos, audio files, and any other synchronized or time-based media are not accessible to deaf or hard of hearing. The proposed Generative adversarial network (GAN) based system will automatically convert text or transcriptions from audio/video file to sign language in avatar form will aid them to understand the content in the media files. It is achieved by breaking down the conversion into two sub-processes. Text is converted to gloss sequences using Neural Machine Translation (NMT), and then it is converted to ISL pose sequences using GAN followed by generating corresponding avatar. Experimental results showed that the proposed sign language interpretation provides richer and more equivalent access to synchronized media © 2022 IEEE.

Due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, people are compelled to maintain social distance in all spheres of life, forcing people to adopt virtual mode of activity. Usage of social media and other internet activity has shot up in this period, and consequently, cybercrimes have also increased. If cybercrimes are reported, computer forensics analysts will examine the concerned website, online forum, or social media to find meticulous details about the cybercrime. But webpage content seen on the day may not be available on the next day. The contents of the webpage, which is the subject of crime, will be deleted or withdrawn, or deactivated to destroy evidence to escape from legal proceedings. The victims usually produce a screenshot of the webpage or image or video as a piece of evidence. But there is a distinct possibility of manipulating the offensive materials and it may not be considered a valid piece of evidence before the court of law. Such a scenario requires a forensic technique that should acquire the content of the webpage before it is removed from web site to maintain the authenticity of captured data. So, we are proposing an automated system for the forensic acquisition of a website that will effectively capture all content from the live website and make it useful for forensic investigation and may be produced before the court as valid evidence of cybercrime. © 2022 IEEE.
