For a long time, the formation control problem has been one of the core problems in the field of multi-agent collaboration. It’s goal is to make multiple agents form a formation in the tasks and move to a designated target point. In this paper, the reinforcement learning method is used to deal with a special formation problem, and the mean field theory is applied to Multi-Agent Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (MADDPG) algorithm to make it effective in large-scale multi-agent formation problems. The algorithm is compared with MADDPG and Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) algorithm. In the simulation experiment, a team of UAVs are initialized at random positions in the two-dimensional space. The goal is to make the UAVs form an equilateral triangle with the shortest total displacement. We model the formation problem. In our algorithm, a reward function is designed based on the goal of making equilateral triangle formation and requirement of the shortest total displacement;Moreover, we define the equilateral triangle criterion and use it to evaluate the formation effect of multi-agent reinforcement learning. The results show that, compared with DDPG and MADDPG algorithms, MADDPG algorithm using the mean field method has obvious advantages over MADDPG and DDPG in terms of convergence speed and success rate in the formation problem. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

A novel dual-band printed dipole antenna operating at 433 MHz and 2390 MHz is proposed and investigated. The antenna is composed of a two-element double-sided printed dipole array which works at high frequency and one arm of the low-frequency dipole. By loading a capacitor, high-frequency arms printed on one side are shared as the low-frequency dipole's another arm. Additionally, the length of the dipole for the lower band is further shortened by loading inductors. The proposed antenna offers a compact antenna configuration, details of the configuration and experimental results are discussed. © 2022 IEEE.

Under the condition of limited communication, the message interaction between different platforms cannot meet the demand of realtime and integrality, which significantly reduces the task-execution efficiency. Aiming at making full use of all kinds of payloads resources in the dynamically changing environment, we use a multilevel agent system model to describe the control relationship between different types of platforms and payloads, and propose an improved contract net protocol to coordinate tasks that different platforms need to undertake and manage different payloads of a platform. The experiment results of the semi-physical simulation show that the proposed method can efficiently assign the required resources to the dynamic tasks while interacting with little information between different platforms.

The Visual data link is a new type of data link based on vision and artificial intelligence. To address the problems of information interaction, information sharing and behavioural control faced by Visual data link, this thesis proposes a semantic consensus model for Visual data link that can achieve semantic consensus among unmanned platforms and realize the information interaction and information sharing capability of Visual data link in the “spectral domain”; the semantic consensus model and behavioural control model for Visual data link proposed in this study can realize the common sense cognitive understanding and collaborative control of related information resources based on vision. Semantic consensus and behavioural control models can effectively support the development and application of Visual data link.

This paper considers a topology control strategy in the multichannel heterogeneous datalink network, which can meet the connectivity optimization requirements of the network by deploying multimode nodes reasonably and adapting different task priorities. This strategy can improve the performance of data link networks in dynamic scenarios. Finally, simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm.

At present, cloud computing related technologies have developed rapidly. Among them, cloud simulation platforms play a vital role in complex military projects. The complex time management under the cloud simulation platform can ensure the normal operation of the relevant test system, thereby promoting the development and progress of defense-related research. In actual engineering projects, each subsystem in the system adopts different time advancing mechanisms. Based on this, this paper studies the complex time management method driven by compound events under the cloud simulation platform. The research content and results are as follows: Based on the characteristics of physical subsystem and logical subsystem, two advancing mechanisms, real-time advancing and logical time advancing are designed;A complex event-driven complex time management method under the cloud simulation platform is designed;Verify the effectiveness of the compound event-driven complex time management method proposed in this paper under the cloud simulation platform. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid development of computer technology and the widespread use of Internet products have already led us into the era of big data, and researchers are increasingly focused on developing advanced data mining techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets. Frequent itemset mining refers to mining the frequently occurring itemsets in data, which is a reliable method to get useful information from a large amount of data and is used on the Internet, finance, medical and other fields. But as a rule, the number of frequent itemsets extracted from data is exponential, which reduces the usefulness of mining results. To achieve the compressed representation of frequent itemsets, researchers have proposed the concept of frequent closed itemsets, which are greatly reduced in number compared to frequent itemsets and retain the integrity of the information contained in frequent itemsets. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for mining closed itemsets and generators in uncertain data, which can be divided into two steps. First, all probabilistic frequent itemsets are mined, and then, based on the probabilistic frequent itemsets, the closed itemsets and generators among them are identified. And the closed itemsets and generators are associated based on the concept of equivalence classes. The algorithm is proved to be correct and efficient after evaluation on several datasets. © 2023 IEEE.

data link is an information system conforming to specified message formats and communication protocols that links combat units such as sensors, weapons, and command and control (C2) platforms. It could automatically share formatted tactical data, for instance, battlefield situation, command and guidance, tactical coordination and weapon control instructions among combat participants in real time. As a typical data link, link 16 has been the major means of information dissemination in joint tactical operations of the US military, and has played an important role in all previous wars over the past decades. link 16 is capable of achieving interoperability and realizing various tactical functions for all combat participants based on unified information distribution and processing mechanisms. This paper investigates message exchanging procedure and applies discrete event system specification (DEVS) method in modeling and simulation (M&S) of information distribution in air interception operations. The experimental results show that the method can be widely applied to modeling information distribution with good scalability. It is able to provide technical reference for subsequent information processing optimization. © 2023 IEEE.

The development of data link technology brings new challenges to the perception and formation of battlefield situation. In view of the situation formation characteristics of link16, this paper analyzes the situation formation process of link16, proposes a new indicator system, and establishes the link16 based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. The situational quality assessment model is then used to verify the simplicity and effectiveness of the method through the simulation of typical combat scenarios of close air support. Finally, it is concluded that the confidence of the algorithm is more objective and effective than the fuzzy algorithm model and the expert experience algorithm from the aspects of the quantity, quality and integrity of the data. © 2023 SPIE.

The feature matching quality plays an important role in the robustness and location accuracy of feature-based Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) system, in which descriptor is significant of tracking and re-localization. In this paper, we propose an efficient feature-based Monocular SLAM system, BEBLID-SLAM, which use BEBLID descriptor for feature matching in ORB-SLAM pipeline. In the proposed system, adopting histogram equalization to preprocess input images and offline training Bag-of-Words for BEBLID is respectively adopted to preprocess input images and realize re-localization and loop closure. Moreover, we valided that our algorithm has outstanding performance in robustness and accuracy than the popular algorithms in the public dataset EuRoC © 2022 IEEE.
