He currentEy is an HSI manager for a number oflvay R&D and skig acquisition efforts. Dr. Thomas B. Malone:received a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Fordham University in 1964. He is President of Carlow International Incorporated an organization dedicated to human factors research and development with emphasis an mantime systems. He has directed over 350 programs and projects in his 33 year career and is responsible for overall management of all contract programs within the Corporation. He is a Past President of the Human Factors and E r g m i c s Society (HFES) of which he is a Fellow. He is also a Fellow of the Washington Academy of Sciences He was selected as a member of the N A S Space Sciences Technical Advisuiy Committee on Technoloo Requirements for Human Performance on Long Duration Space Missions in 2989 and 90. 作者: SNOW, JM STUCKMAN, BE USHER, JS Jeffrey M. Snow:received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington in 1977. He has worked at Boeing Commercial Aircraft Company and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Since 1985 he has been at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWCC). From 1987 to 1990 he was in charge of quality assurance configuration management and reliability for Aegis (SPY-1 and Mk-99) microwave tubes. He currently is in the Radar System Branch at NSWCC. He is a member of ASQC and ASME. His areas of interest include the use of statistics in process improvement efforts and objectively rating and rewarding suppliers for better quality. Bruce E. Stuckman:holds a Ph.D. degree in systems engineering from Oakland University where he also obtained M.S. and B.S. degrees in electrical and computer engineering. In 1992 Dr. Stuckman obtained his J.D. from the University of Louisville where he graduated cum laude. He is currently an associate in the patent and computer law department of Brooks & Kushman a law firm specializing in intellectual property and technology related causes. Prior to this he was an associate professor of both electrical engineering at the University of Louisville and a member of the Research Advisory Board of the South Central Bell Telecommunications Research Center. Dr. Stuckman is the author of over 75 published works in a variety of research areas including global optimization algorithms control systems communication and telecommunication systems and instrumentation electronics. 作者: RYAN, JC JONS, OP J. Christopher Ryan:earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Naval Architecture from Webb Institute and MIT respectively. He spent three years at the Advanced Marine Technology Division of Litton Industries working on the DD-963 class ship design and related computer aided design projects. he subsequently went to the Navy Department concentrating on early stage design of surface combatants for 12 years including work on the FFG-7 Sea Control Ship CSGN and CVV aircraft carrier projects. He then shifted focus and became the technical director for the Computer Supported Design Program in NavSea for five years. Mr. Ryan has served in several supervisory positions within the Ship Design Group in NavSea since that time. He is currently the project manager for the Ship Design Acquisition and Construction Process Improvement Project. Otto P. Jons:received a Diplom Ing. in shipbuilding from the Technical University of Hannover W. Germany and an M.S. in naval architecture and marine engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1967. He then joined Litton Ship Systems where he was responsible for the preliminary design of the DD-963 hull structure and then for ship systems as manager LHA Ship Systems Engineering Department. From 1972 to 1974 he was principal research scientist at Hydronautics. In 1976 as technical director he helped establish the local office of Designers and Planners. Otto Jons was one of the co-founders of Advanced Marine Enterprises Inc. in 1976 where he is corporate vice president engineering.

As vice president with Geraghty & Miller Inc. he is responsible for engineering services including hazardous and solid waste management environmental and natural resource management remediation activities and designing treatment systems for contaminated sites throughout the United States and in foreign countries. He has designed more than 100 ground water treatment systems. Nyer travels throughout the country teaching treatment techniques at seminars and universities. He has written numerous papers on ground water decontamination and other water and waste water cleanup techniques. He is responsible for bringing to the field many innovative techniques for biological treatment of water soils and in situ treatment and the application of existing technologies to ground water contamination. He is a member of the Water Pollution Control Federation The National Water Well Association The American Institute of Chemical Engineers and The American Society of Civil Engineers. Bridget Morello received a B.S. Che from the University of South Florida in 1987 and is currently working for Geraghty & Miller's Process Group in Tampa Florida. She is mainly involved in treatability evaluation and design of ground water treatment systems. Gary Boettcher is a project scientists with Geraghty & Miller Inc. in Tampa Florida. He received his B.S. degree in microbiology from the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. He is involved in investigation treatability and design of biological remediation systems.
