This paper is collaboration between BMKG and the University of Mataram to mitigate land slide. For this study using light intensity sensors, air temperature sensors, voltage sensors, current sensors, humidity sensors. This research is on a laboratory scale with a soil slope of 10 degrees, dry soil with a tendency to split (clay) from brittle volcanic rocks. The initial conditions were without rain, then the soil was burdened with rain in low (drizzle), medium (25mm/h) and high (55mm/h) capacities. The second condition of the stage is given a vibration which is a model of the earthquake evenly on that stage. Soil Moisture soil, soil temperature, 3 pieces of vibration sensor switch, piezo electric vibration sensor. The initial height of the soil is 36.78 cm with a width of 79.35cm after being rained for 90 minutes, the final height is 29.93 and 60.25 cm, widening receding to the right and left sides.

Batik industry wastewater has the characteristic of dark-colored organic waste, high temperature and pH, as well as high biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and total suspended solid (TSS) content that caused by the use of chemical and coloring substances during the Batik production and coloration process. The waste processing method that can be done biologically is phytoremediation. Hydrophyte (aquatic plant) that can be used for phytoremediation on this research is Cyperus haspan. The sample taking on the research is being done by using a grab sample that can be taken at Rumah Industri Batik Blimbing, Malang. The research plan used is a completely randomized design with the factors that can be seen during the experiment. The time detention factor is on the fourth, eighth and twelfth day. The waste liquid concentration factor is K25 that can be found from mixing 25% (liquid waste): 75% (well water) and K250 that can be found by mixing 50% (liquid waste): 50% (well water), with the total volume of 6L on each tub. The waste parameter analyzed in this research is the BOD, COD, TSS, and chromium. The temperature of liquid waste during the experiment is around 260–320 °C. On the other hand, the pH on the waste liquid is around 7.9–8.9. The effective decrease in BOD and COD on K25 is 68% and 57.8% on day 8, while the decrease in BOD on K50 is 10% on day 4, and K25 and K50 have effective decrease of chromium for 44% on day 12, while TSS is increased. The increase of a few parameter contents that was studied is because the evaporation can cause the phytoremediation to become concentrated and the organic content increased, and the phytoremediation process of the waste becomes less efficient. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Game development in 3D is mostly done by characters, items and the environment. Game items such as character weapons modeled in 3D will be the attraction of a game. In this paper, spear motion as a game items is modeled in 3D. Nonlinear Equations Six Degrees of Freedom (6 DOF) are used for mathematical models of spear motion. The parameters studied in the motion model are: geometry, mass and aerodynamics. Spear aerodynamic parameters were analyzed using the Datcom method. Numerical simulation of mathematical models of spear motion with variations in the initial velocity of the throw and the direction of the throw. From the results of numerical simulation, the maximum range R = 131.7 m at the initial velocity V0 = 40 m/s, the direction of throw (angle θ0 = 35 deg, angle φ0 = 10 deg, ψ0 = 0 deg). And the maximum height Hmax = 12.18 m is achieved at the initial velocity V0 = 20 m/s, direction of throw (angle θ0 = 35 deg, angle φ0 = 40 deg, angle ψ0 = 0 deg). © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A pilot Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project in Indonesia is planned to be implemented in Gundih area, Central Java Province in Indonesia. Prior to conducting CO2 injection, reservoir characterisations have to study thoroughly to assure that the reservoir is to meet with CCS standard requirements. The Jepon well in the Gundih fied was proposed as a suitable site for CO2 injection. The decision was made to proceed with a comprehensive site assessment and geological modelling of the Jepon area. This site was selected based on the reason the presence of a potentially suitable reservoir (Ngrayong Sandstone) and primary and secondary seals (Bulu Limestone and Wonocolo claystone). Using logging data, petrophysics and rock physics model are used to evaluate potential of the CO2 injection site. Permeability results from petrophysics calculations and recent injection tests show very small;whilst porosity is relatively high. This can be caused by fractures mostly are not connected. Hence, rock physics for the reservoir is evaluated and modelled as anisotropy or Vertical Tranverse Isotropy (VTI) in which fractures with preferred orientation. Stiffness calculations for VTI medium with different aspect ratio shows consistent with low permeability result. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.

$\mathbf{I}-\mathbf{V}-\mathbf{VI}_{2}$ ternary chalcogenides were gaining more attention recently owing to their high air stability along with earth-abundant and nontoxic compounds. More interestingly, some of them have been predicted to be potential “perovskite-inspired materials” that can exhibit defect tolerance. In this work, we investigated the optoelectronic properties of cation-disordered $\mathbf{NaBiS}_{2}$ nanocrystals, which have a steep absorption onset, with absorption coefficients $> \mathbf{10}^{5} \ \mathbf{cm}^{-1}$ just above its pseudo-direct bandgap of 1.4 eVe Surprisingly, an ultrafast photoconductivity decay and long-lived charge-carrier population almost independent of defect densities were simultaneously observed in N aBiS2 nanocrystals. Through the density functional theory calculations, these unusual features are found to be highly associated with the non-bonding $\mathbf{S} \ {p}$ orbitals above the upper valence band, which can be further enhanced by cation inhomogeneity. Our work hence reveals the critical role of cation disorder on both absorption characteristics and charge-carrier kinetics of $\mathbf{I}-\mathbf{V}-\mathbf{VI}_{2}$ ternary chalcogenides.

The accumulation lipid from oleaginous microorganisms is recognized as a second generation fuel. Biooil is known to as intracellular product of oily yeast utilizing various carbon substrates and converting different quantities of lipids in the form of triacylglycerols. This second generation fuel can be used to make biodiesel via a transesterification process. This study investigated the morphological characteristics of eight strains of Thai oleaginous yeasts via microscopy and analyzed the fatty acid profiling of yeasts cultured in three carbon sources: glucose, sugar cane molasses and crude glycerol in order to estimate biodiesel properties. To approach this goal, batch fermentations were used to culture eight yeast strains, Rhodosporidium toruloides TISTR 5123, TISTR 5154, TISTR 5149, Yarrowia lipolytica TISTR 5054, TISTR 5151, TISTR 5621, Rhodotorula glutinis TISTR 5159 and Rhodotorula graminis TISTR 5124 for 96 h under 30°C at 250 rpm. Result revealed that eight yeast strains contained significant amounts of fatty acids and lipids and accumulated mainly palmitic acid (C16:0), stearic acid (C18:0), oleic acid (C 18:1) and linoleic acid (C18:2), and they are suitable for the production of biodiesel. Fatty acid productions and profiles indicated that these yeast strains can be potentially used as the triacylglycerols producers for biodiesel production. © 2020 The Authors, published by EDP Sciences.

This study aims to develop a product such as "Digital storytelling of Physics (DiS-Phy)" that can be used as a physics’ educational media for distance learning (PJJ) on magnetic field material. DiS-Phy developed as a digital storytelling media which is able to combine several learning media such as writing, pictures and learning videos in one medium. The developed DiS-Phy also equipped with scientific literacy questions. DiS-Phy can be accessed on all types of distance learning devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets that are connected to the internet. DiS-Phy including the type of research and development (Research & Development) which refers to the ASSURE model. The result of validation test shows the percentages of 91,07%, according to subject-matter expert, 93,16%, according to media expert and 87,50% according to learning expert. DiS-Phy also tested by 4 physics teachers at senior high school in Jakarta that achieved 92,57% points that make this product has been qualified as a worthy physics’ distance learning device. Also of 35 as respondents in this study shows the percentages of 87,48% points that make this product worthy to use as an educational media. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the DiS-Phy has been qualified as a worthy physics’ distance learning device for teachers and students. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. This research is a preliminary study on the use of sago midrib as an acoustic material. This study aims to determine the sago as acoustic material by measuring the absorption coefficient using (impedance tube method) of 100 Hz-1.6 KHz frequencies. The results of measurement were analyzed and compared with common acoustic material available on market as reference. From the measurement of the sago midrib composite, absorption coefficient has fluctuated from low to high frequencies as the absorption coefficient of reference material is found to be more stable. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This study aimed to determine the potential of coffee skin waste (Coffea robusta L) as a superior compost innovation for the growth of pepper-cutting seedlings (Piper nigrum L). This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design using five treatments and five repeats, variations in the dose of coffee skin waste used P0 (control), P1 (90 g), P2 (135 g), P3 (180 g), and P4 (225 g). The shoot height, number of leaves, number of roots, and length of roots were measured. The results showed that coffee skin waste compost significantly affected shoot height, especially at P1 (90 g), resulting in an average growth height of 7.24 cm. In addition, the highest number of leaves was found at a concentration of P1 (90 g), with an average of two leaves. Although there was no significant effect on the number of roots, the concentration of P1 (90 g) yielded the best results, with an average of 33 root blades, and the best root length was obtained at the concentration of P1 (90 g), with an average of 44.6 cm. Therefore, coffee skin waste significantly influenced shoot height and the number of leaves on pepper-cut seedlings (Piper nigrum L.) in the P1 treatment (90 g).

Since the establishment of the COVID-19 pandemic, a range of studies have been developed to understand the pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2 infection, vaccine development, and therapeutic testing, which was preponderant for controlling the pandemic. However, the possible impacts that these viruses can have on non-target organisms have been explored little, and our knowledge of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for biota is still very limited. In response to these concerns, the current study aimed to address this knowledge gap by evaluating the possible impacts of oral exposure of C57Bl/6J female mice to SARS-CoV-2 lysate protein (at 20 µg/L) for 30 days, using multiple biomarkers. Although we did not have evidence of hematological, mutagenic, or genotoxic effects, we noted that the ingestion of SARS-CoV-2 lysate protein-induced behavioral disorders (hypoactivity, anxiety-like behavior, and short-term memory deficit), which were associated with oxidative stress and dopaminergic and cholinesterase imbalance in the animal brain. Furthermore, the elevation of bilirubin levels and lactate dehydrogenase levels in these animals suggests the occurrence of hepatic changes, and the redox imbalance, nitrosative stress, and elevated production of IFN-γ and histopathological changes indicate that the SARS-CoV-2-exposed group showed significant intestinal and ovarian toxicity. Principal component analysis (PCA) and cluster analysis confirmed that the groups were clearly separated and showed that the largest changes upon SARS-CoV-2 exposure were related to ROS, MDA, nitrite, IFN-γ/IL-10 levels and SOD and catalase activity in the ovary;IFN-γ/IL-10 production and SOD activity in the duodenum;BChE activity in the brain;bilirubin levels and lactate dehydrogenase activity in the serum;number of primary follicles in the ovary.
