This paper investigates the cooperative output regulation (COR) of nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) with long input delay based on periodic event-triggered mechanism. Compared with other mechanisms, periodic event-triggered control can automatically guarantee a Zeno-free behavior and avoid the continuous monitoring of triggered conditions. First, a new periodic event-triggered distributed observer, which is based on the fully asynchronous communication data, is proposed to estimate the leader information. Second, a new distributed predictor feedback control method is proposed for the considered nonlinear MASs with input delay. By coordinate transformation, the MASs are mapped into new coupled ODE-PDE target systems with some disturbance-like terms. Then, we show that the COR problem is solvable. At last, to further save the communication resource, a periodic event-triggered mechanism is considered in the sensor-to-controller transmission in every agent. A new periodic event-triggered filter is proposed to deal with the periodic event-triggered feedback data. The MASs with input delay are mapped into coupled ODE-PDE target systems with sampled data information. Then, Lyapunov-Krasovskii functions are constructed to demonstrate the exponential stability of the MASs. Simulations verify the validity of the proposed results. © 2024, CC BY-NC-ND.

A series of silver modified Cu/SiO2 catalysts were synthesized with ammonia-evaporation method and applied in vapor-phase hydrogenation of methyl acetate to *** influence of additive‘Ag’on the structural evolution of catalyst was systematically studied by several characterization techniques,such as N2 adsorption–desorption,N2O titration,PXRD,FTIR,in-situ FTIR,H2-TPR,H2-TPD,XPS and *** showed that incorporation of a small amount of Ag could enhance the structural stability,and the strong interaction between Cu and Ag species was conducive to increase the dispersion of copper species and create a suitable Cu+/(Cu0+Cu+)ratio,which was proposed to be responsible for the improved catalytic *** maximum conversion of MA(94.1%)and selectivity of ethanol(91.3%)over optimized Cu-0.5 Ag/SiO2 and 120 h on stream without deactivation under optimal conditions demonstrates its excellent stability.

In the aviation industry, anodic oxidation serves as a core process for surface modification of aluminum alloy components, albeit accompanied by high energy consumption. Accurate prediction of key parameters can offer decision support for the intelligent control and energy optimization of anodic oxidation. However, the limited sample size resulting from the high cost of data collection and the complex nonlinear patterns caused by the synergy of multiple factors pose a challenge in accurately predicting key parameters. Therefore, we propose a key parameters prediction method based on the Maximum Information Coefficient (MIC), Beluga Whale Optimization algorithm (BWO), and XGBoost algorithm. Considering the adverse impact of low correlation parameters on prediction accuracy, we first use MIC to extract features from the original data. Then, XGBoost is used to integrate multiple decision trees to ensure the strong fitting ability for nonlinear relationships. Compared to deep learning models, XGBoost performs well even in a limited sample size. In addition, considering XGBoost is prone to overfitting training data as an ensemble learning algorithm, we employ the BWO to optimize four key parameters of the model that are difficult to choose, thereby enhancing model's generalization. The model's performance is evaluated using Mean Squared Error (MSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), with values of 0.04388, 0.09410, and 0.20730%, respectively. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms traditional approaches, enabling precise prediction of key parameters and holding significant value for the intelligent control and energy optimization of anode oxidation processes.

The use of biomaterials as photothermal substrates as well as their modification for solar interface water evaporation, self-desalination and water pollutant removal is currently considered a highly cost-effective strategy. Herein, we introduce an evaporator based on typical biomaterial (wood), which obtained through delignification, followed by freeze-drying treatment, then surface carbonization, and finally metal organic frameworks (MOFs) material loading, for effective solar-interfacial evaporation. The outstanding feature of the developed evaporator is that it exhibits excellent ultraviolet to near-infrared light absorbing capacity and high heat conversion efficiency, which can realize the rapid increase of the evaporator’s surface temperature within 10 min. On other hand, the high hydrophilicity of the evaporator ensures rapid water transportation. Therefore, the evaporation rate of Fe-MOF decorated wood reaches a value up to 1.81 kg m-2 h-1 and exhibits an evaporation efficiency of 89% under 1 Sun-illumination. In the self-desalination capacity test, the composite evaporator owing 4 cm2 surface area achieved an efficient removal of 1 g of NaCl in 1 hour. In the simulated sewage purification experiment, the purification rate of tetracycline, methyl orange, and rhodamine B solutions reaches 93.2%, 100%, and 99.3%, respectively, indicating that the developed evaporator can be considered as potential candidate for environmental safety applications. © 2023, The Authors. Filamentous fungal cell factories are efficient producers of platform chemicals, proteins, enzymes and natural products. Stirred-tank bioreactors up to a scale of several hundred m³ are commonly used for their cultivation. Fungal hyphae self-assemble into various cellular macromorphologies ranging from dispersed mycelia, loose clumps, to compact pellets. Development of these macromorphologies is so far unpredictable but strongly impacts productivities of fungal bioprocesses. Depending on the strain and the desired product, the morphological forms vary, but no strain- or product-related correlations currently exist to improve process understanding of fungal production systems. However, novel genomic, genetic, metabolic, imaging and modelling tools have recently been established that will provide fundamental new insights into filamentous fungal growth and how it is balanced with product formation. In this primer, these tools will be highlighted and their revolutionary impact on rational morphology engineering and bioprocess control will be discussed. © 2021, The Author(s).

The relay catalytic upgrading of coal pyrolysis volatiles employing different layouts of basic CaO and acidic HZSM-5 zeolite was proposed to improve the tar quality as well as alleviate catalyst deactivation. The synergistic effect is found in relay catalytic upgrading of coal pyrolysis volatiles over dual CaO and HZSM-5 catalysts system. The relay CaO-HZSM-5 layout is better compared to layouts of relay HZSM-5-CaO, mixed CaO/HZSM-5, and their independent employments. The relay CaO-HZSM-5 layout ensures the highest light fraction in tar with 70.1% and the minimized carbon deposition over HZSM-5 while remaining a relatively high tar yield (7.8 wt.%). Meanwhile, the contents of aromatics and phenols in tar increase by 221% and 164% compared with the blank test (without catalyst), respectively. In this scenario, CaO promotes the cracking of large molecules in tar to form more olefins and small molecules firstly, which subsequently diffuses into micropores of HZSM-5 zeolite to produce more aromatics by dehydrocyclization. In addition, the roles of pre-cracking and pre-deoxidation of volatiles over CaO reduce the possibility of the polycondensation reactions of large molecules over acidity sites of HZSM-5 zeolite, thus lowering the carbon deposition over zeolite. These findings suggest that the base-acid relay catalytic upgrading of volatiles during coal pyrolysis will be a promising strategy to increase the tar quality and slow down catalyst deactivation. © 2022, The Authors. Compared with traditional 2D image processing, 3D point cloud processing has become a hot technology in the industry, but there are few researches applied to nondestructive testing of curved workpieces. This article aims at the non-destructive testing of curved workpieces, using 3D point cloud and robotic arm for water immersion ultrasonic nondestructive testing. Aiming at the 3D point cloud with many outliers, using the commonly used filter in two-dimensional images-the guide filter, the algorithm is improved and used for the filtering and downsampling of the 3D point cloud, and the adjustment of the curved surface workpiece and the robot arm's pose is introduced. Finally, the workpiece was scanned by a robotic arm with a water immersion ultrasonic nondestructive testing system to prove the feasibility of the experiment and improve the detection efficiency of traditional nondestructive testing technology. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. Since the industrial Internet entered people's field of vision, industrial control network security has gradually received attention. Traditional network security measurement methods rely on the accuracy of situation sequences and historical situation values, and various factors in the network have a great influence on the results. However, compared with industrial control networks, the number and types of affected factors are less than those of the modern Internet. Therefore, based on the research on network security situational awareness, this paper proposes an industrial control network security measurement method model based on GRU-SVM. First, the data sets with threat type labels are classified, and then the similarity scoring mechanism and softmax function are introduced, to process the classification results. For the GRU-SVM classification module, the analysis of the simulation results shows that the convergence is better and the robustness is stronger. For the safety prediction measurement part, by comparing with different models, the mean absolute error and root mean square error are smaller and the reliability is higher.

A Generalized Probabilistic Monitoring Model with Both Randomand Sequential Data

Many multivariate statistical analysis methods and their corresponding probabilistic counterparts have been adopted to develop process monitoring models in recent decades. However, the insightful connections between them have rarely been studied. In this study, a generalized probabilistic monitoring model (GPMM) is developed with both random and sequential data. Since GPMM can be reduced to various probabilistic linear models under specific restrictions, it is adopted to analyze the connections between different monitoring methods. Using expectation maximization (EM) algorithm, the parameters of GPMM are estimated for both random and sequential cases. Based on the obtained model parameters, statistics are designed for monitoring different aspects of the process system. Besides, the distributions of these statistics are rigorously derived and proved, so that the control limits can be calculated accordingly. After that, contribution analysis methods are presented for identifying faulty variables once the process anomalies are detected. Finally, the equivalence between monitoring models based on classical multivariate methods and their corresponding probabilistic graphic models is further investigated. The conclusions of this study are verified using a numerical example and the Tennessee Eastman (TE) process. Experimental results illustrate that the proposed monitoring statistics are subject to their corresponding distributions, and they are equivalent to statistics in classical deterministic models under specific restrictions.
