Jacksonville Florida working on site investigation and remediation projects for ground water and soil contamination. His research interests include ground water modeling geologic analysis of coastal plain depositional environments and processing and analysis of remotely sensed images. He was raised in South Carolina and Puerto Rico and received a B.S. in marine science (1989) and an M.S. in geology (1994) from the University of South Carolina. John Dickersonhas been on the civil engineering faculty of the University of South Carolina in Columbia South Carolina for the past 20 years. He is a registered professional engineer and specializes in dynamical measurements and control in addition to the application of microprocessors in engineering experiments. He grew up in northern Illinois received a mechanical engineering degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1963 and a Ph.D. in applied mechanics from the California Institute of Technology in 1967. Leonard Gardnerhas been a faculty member of the Geological Sciences Department at the University of South Carolina in Columbia South Carolina since 1968. He has published numerous papers on the geochemistry of weathering and soil genesis and on geological and geochemical processes in salt marshes. He was born and raised in New Jersey received a B.S. in English (1958) from St. Peter's College in Jersey City and then earned a B.S. (1963) M.S. (1966) and Ph.D. (1968) in geology from the Pennsylvania State University. Howard W. Reevesis an assistant professor in Civil Engineering at Northwestern University. Reeves joined the faculty at Northwestern in 1994 to coordinate the environmental geotechnics research area and was an assistant professor of Geological Sciences at the University of South Carolina from 1991 to 1994. Box 273630 Tampa FL 33688–3630) he has been responsible for maintaining and expanding Geraghty & Miller's technical expertise in aboveground and in situ remediation engineering bioremediation and many other areas. He also provides expertise in engineering services including the design of treatment systems for contaminated water sites throughout the United States. He has designed and installed more than 200 ground water and soil remediation systems. He is a member of the Water Pollution Control Federation NGWA the American Institute of Chemical Engineers the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Edward G. Gatliff Ph.D. is president of Applied Natural Sciences Inc. in Hamilton Ohio. He is a former research director for agricultural studies at Servi-Tech Inc. and has directed the analytical sciences division for Bowser-Morner Inc. In addition to developing the Tree Mediation® process he has worked extensively with remote monitoring with computers and sensors. He continues to conduct research and consultation services for TreeMediation and other vegetative remediation projects.

He joined Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry (CRIEPI) in April 1979. He was a Visiting Research Associate at the University of Connecticut in the United States from 1991 to 1992. He is engaged mainly in research on high-current arcs in power systems. He is currently working in the High-Power Group at the Yokosuka Research Laboratory of CRIEPI. He is a senior member of the IEEE. Graduated from Yokosuka Technical High School Kanagawa Prefecture in 1961. He joined High-Voltage Power Laboratory Foundation Inc. in April 1961. He joined Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry in July 1977. He is engaged in research on high-current arc phenomena. He received the Shibusawa Award in 1971. He is currently working in the High-Power Group at the Yokosuka Research Laboratory of CRIEPI. Chuo University Received his M.S. degree from Nagoya Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. degree from Nagoya University in 1968 and 1971 respectively in Electrical Engineering. He was with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation from 1959 to 1964 Adeka Argas Chemical Co. from 1965 to 1968 and Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry from 1971 to 1994. Since 1994 he has been a full Professor at Chuo University. He is engaged mainly in research on arc control and applied technology. He was a guest Professor at Technische Universität Braunschweig in Germany sponsored by the Humboldt foundation from 1978 to 1979 engaged in research on current-limit interruption. Senz a senior geologist with Geraghty & Miller Inc. in Denver Colorado has more than 14 years of experience as a geologist including 8 years in the environmental field. He has managed projects performed extensive field work and written numerous reports for various hazardous waste sites CERCLA and RCRA sites and hydrocarbon-contaminated sites in the Rocky Mountain region. Senz has experience at sites impacted by volatile and semivolatile organic compounds chlorinated solvents petroleum hydrocarbons PCBs pesticides and herbicides metals and other inorganic compounds and acids and strong bases.
