Broschka is currently a Specialist in Industry Supply Analysis with the Standard Oil Company (Indiana). He holds an M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and has been employed by Standard or its subsidiary companies for 8 years. While he was with the Amoco Oil Company Research Department he conducted research in flammability and flame propagation synthetic fuels and leak detection technology. Irwin Ginsburgh is a Senior Research Associate with the Amoco Oil Company Research and Development Department with whom he has been employed for 31 years. He holds a PhD in Physics from Rutgers University and has conducted extensive research in gas phase detonations and static electricity. Current research interests include unconfined vapor cloud explosions vapor recovery and advanced energy sources. He holds 42 patents has been awarded four IR 100 awards and has published numerous articles and one book. Robert A. Mancini is a Research Supervisor and Process Safety Specialist with the Amoco Oil Company Research and Development Department. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and has conducted research in reaction kinetics process safety environmental conservation and probability analysis related to process safety and equipment reliability. He is a member of the Static Electricity and Fire Safety Engineering Subcommittees of the American Petroleum Institute Committee on Safety and Fire Protection and is a member of the NFPA Explosion Protection Systems Technical Committee. Robert G. Will is Director of the Engineering and Environmental Research Division of Amoco Oil Company Research and Development Department and has been employed by Amoco Oil or its subsidiary companies for 29 years. He is a mechanical engineering graduate from Purdue University and has conducted research in oil spill control process safety and burner design. He holds five patents has been awarded an IR 100 award and is a Registered Profession

Systems Group on the Apollo program and nine years at Bonner and Moore Assoc. installing process control systems worldwide. He joined the Operations Technologies Department of Tenneco Inc. as a Consulting Engineer in June 1980. He is a US citizen and a member of IEEE. Thomas H. Tsai:is a Managing Engineer of the Operations Technologies Department of Tenneco Inc. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Calif. and is a Member of AIChE and a Senior Member of ISA. He received a BS degree in Chemical Engineering at Tunghan University of Taiwan and attended graduate school at Oklahoma State University. James W. Lane:received a BE and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of Tex and Calif. and is a Member of the AIChE Senior Member of the IEEE and Senior Member of the SME. For the last seven years he has been Director of the Operations Technologies Department of Tenneco Inc. a cooperate engineering group providing expertise in advanced control technology for process control energy management and environmental monitoring systems.

In addition he has developed a Laser Tracking & Ranging System for the NS WC Rocket Range: led an Installation Team in the deployment of electro-optical devices aboard ship during the Vietnam conflict tested and evaluated infrared techniques for advance warning of chemical warfare agent attack designed and developed a Fire Control System for a surface-launched laser-guided missile ISMARTROC) prepared the Technical Plan for the Light-weight Weapon Fire Control-System and participated in a variety of programs directed toward upgrading the capabilities of the Navyi Gun Fire Control Systems Mk86. Mk68. Mk56 and Mk63. Mr. Frazer also holds U.S. Patents on an Optical Target Position Indicator on Laser Ranging with Polarization Modulation: on a Laser Projectile Detection System: and on a Multi-Spectral Optical Comparator.

作者: RAWLING, AG JOHNSON, NL Arnold George Rawlings was born 20 December 1921 in Luke Maryland. He received both a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland. He served overseas as an LST officer in the Amphibious Forces of the United Navy participating in the Pacific campaigns of World War II. His professional experience includes theoretical mechanics at the Naval Ordnance Laboratory at White Oak (1949-52) digital computer design and large scale air defense system engineering at MIT (1952-54) Navy interceptor missile guidance and control system design at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (1954-60) flight dynamics and currently submarine simulation as a consulting engineer with the General Electric Company. He is a member of the AIAA and Sigma Xi and is author of the papers “Automation and the Scientific Laboratory from a Systems Viewpoint” “Passive Determination of Homing Time” and “On Non-Zero Miss Distance.” Norman L. Johnson was born on 3 December 1937 in Three Falls Michigan. He received a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics (1959) from Michigan Technological University and is currently studying towards a Master's degree. His professional experience at the General Electric Company includes analog and hybrid simulation engineering applications up to 1967. Since then he has held the post of Supervisory Engineer in the same area. Problems investigated during the past nine years include the body dynamics and control system design for interceptor missiles re-entry vehicles satellites and for the last two years submarines. He is co-author of the publication “Temperature Generated by the Flow of Liquids in Pipes.”
