Traditional blood pressure measurement methods are mostly contact, cumbersome and easy to bring discomfort to patients, and the measurement results are likely to be affected by psychological factors, which is inconvenient for home physiological health monitoring in the aging society. Based on the above problems, we use millimeter wave radar to collect the echo signals from the human chest and wrist veins, and then obtain the specific value of blood pressure through machine learning. This method collects and processes ECG and PPG signals and performs pre-processing, filtering, mathematical analysis and other operations on the signals to finally calculate systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The feasibility of non-contact blood pressure parameter measurement was verified by conducting experiments on 30 subjects and comparing the measurement results of the non-contact method with those of the traditional method, and the errors were within the controllable range [1]. © 2024 IEEE.

The output-signal models and impulse response shaping(IRS)functions of semiconductor detectors are important for establishing high-precision measurement *** this paper,an output-signal model for semiconductor detector systems is *** to the proposed model,a multistage cascade deconvolution IRS algorithm was developed using the C-R inverse system,R-C inverse system,and differentiator *** silicon drift detector signals acquired from the analog-to-digital converter were *** experimental results indicated that the shaped pulses obtained using the proposed model had no undershoot,and the average peak base width of the output shaped pulses was reduced by 36%compared with that for a simple model proposed in a previous work[1].Offline processing results indicated that compared with the traditional IRS algorithm,the average peak base width of the output shaped pulses obtained using the proposed algorithm was reduced by 11%,and the total elapsed time required for pulse shaping was reduced by 26%.The proposed algorithm avoids recursive *** the sampling frequency of the digital system reaches 100 MHz,the proposed algorithm can be simplified to integer *** proposed IRS algorithm can be applied to high-resolution energy spectrum analysis,highcounting rate energy spectrum correction,and coincidence and anti-coincidence measurements.

In this research, droplets with a diameter on the order of 100μm are studied. Their movement in the vacuum arc is simulated with the help of dynamic meshing technology. During the movement, the droplets are heated and charged by the vacuum arc. On the other hand, the feedback of droplets to the vacuum arc is also considered, including evaporation process and the ionization process of the droplet vapor. The results show that with the increase of droplet diameter, the temperature increase and the velocity of droplets decrease. The influence of the vacuum arc on the droplets can be determined by the ablation cloud of the droplets. The ionization process of the droplet vapor leads to a lower electron temperature and higher atom density around the droplets. © 2024 IEEE.

Wildfire, also known as forest fire, is fire that usually occur in forests and are difficult to control. If it could be detected and suppressed at an early stage (mainly smoke and flames), it has important meaning for reducing the loss. With the attention of relevant researchers, wildfire detection technology has become more and more advanced, from traditional manual monitoring to traditional target detection to sensor detection and infrared detection, etc. The various detection methods involved still have problems such as slow detection speed, low accuracy, easy interference and high cost. In this paper, SSD, an advanced target detection method, was chosen from deep learning algorithms. Three independent SSD networks are built with VGG16, MobileNet v2, and EfficientNet b3 as the backbone. The experimental results show that the mAP (mean Average Precision) of VGG16-SSD is 95.34%, which is 4.76% higher than MobileNet v2-SSD and 4.53% higher than EfficientNet b3-SSD. Therefore, VGG16-SSD can effectively detect wildfires in the early stages. © 2023 SPIE. All rights reserved.

Joint extraction of entities and their semantic relationships to form factual triples from unstructured text is a fundamental task in information extraction. However, existing methods either ignore the interactions between relationships and entities or extract the subjects and objects in a fixed sequential order, which makes these approaches too sensitive to the extraction results of subjects. To address the two issues, we propose a pre-relation bidirectional joint extraction model (PRBJE). Specifically, we first detect potential relationships from the sentence to assist in the subsequent extraction of head and tail entities. Then, we extract all possible entity pairs maintained in the text using two complementary directions: extracting the tail entity based on the head entity and vice versa. Finally, we assign relationships to all entity pairs by a biaffine model, thereby forming complete relational triples. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that our model outperforms state-of-the-art methods, with improved F1 scores across four public datasets, particularly achieving gains of 0.9 and 0.7 on NYT and WebNLG, respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

The word 'Gestures' conjures images of persons who are deaf or hearing-impaired. The main reason is that their primary and only mode of communication is based on gestures. Only hearing-impaired people have an understanding of gestures in today's world. As a result, communicating with regular people has become a challenging chore for them. Consequently, there is a significant communication gap between normal people and those who are hard of hearing. All of this is taken into account, and the purpose of the research is to find a successful solution for hearing-impaired persons to communicate with one another. Here, a glove equipped with flex sensors was used to create a novel real-Time gesture detection system based on machine learning. The application of several algorithms, such as the Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Naive Bayes algorithms, might be recognized as a specialty to address this classification problem. The system has been able to achieve a more accurate and precise result by successfully displaying ten messages corresponding to the detected gesture on the Graphical User Interface (GUI). Additionally, this system has the ability to gradually expand the quantity of messages that are communicated by gestures based on the requirements of the users. Due to its wireless connectivity, ease of use, quick response time, and flexibility to meet the user's demands, this system is probably to become a more popular and beneficial communication aid among individuals with hearing loss in the future. © 2024 IEEE.

With the variety and complexity of communication signal modulation, it is more important and urgent to solve the problem of modulation identification. The modulation identification of PSK signal is studied based on the features of M-th power spectrum. The M-th power spectrum of BPSK signal, QPSK signal, OQPSK signal, DQPSK signal and π/4-DQPSK signal are simulated by Matlab. The features of M -th power spectrum of these five signals are summarized through the simulation results. Based on the results, a set of identification rules and identification process are designed, which can be used for intra-class identification of PSK signals. © 2022 IEEE.

In the era of mobile internet, network literacy is an important part of the overall quality of college students. Improving the network literacy of college students is of great practical significance for strengthening and improving ideological and political education in colleges and universities. At present, the network illiteracy of Chinese college students is at a spontaneous stage, including the identification of network information, the ability of network application software, the self-restraint of the network, and the legal issues in the field of network morality. The cultivation of College Students' network literacy is a systematic task and need to integrate several layers using web-based computer technologies and algorithms. Based on the extant situation and data mining results, this paper designed and proposed a framework for cultivating college students' network literacy by integrating web technologies and suggests and discusses the "four all-round penetration"mechanism to cultivate college students' network literacy from four aspects, such as social guidance, college education, family guidance, and self-efficacy. Implementation of these scientific and reasonable four aspects can enhance the knowledge of network literacy of college students and is important for their career development, morality, and psychological stability. © 2024 ACM.
