In this paper,a new filtering fusion problem is studied for nonlinear cyber-physical systems under errorvariance constraints and denial-of-service *** prevent data collision and reduce communication cost,the stochastic communication protocol is adopted in the sensor-to-filter channels to regulate the transmission order of *** sensor is allowed to enter the network according to the transmission priority decided by a set of independent and identicallydistributed random *** the defenders’view,the occurrence of the denial-of-service attack is governed by the randomly Bernoulli-distributed *** the local filtering stage,a set of variance-constrained local filters are designed where the upper bounds(on the filtering error covariances)are first acquired and later minimized by appropriately designing filter *** the fusion stage,all local estimates and error covariances are combined to develop a variance-constrained fusion estimator under the federated fusion ***,the performance of the fusion estimator is examined by studying the boundedness of the fused error covariance.A simulation example is finally presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed fusion estimator.

Radon is the most important source of natural radiation to human beings and the second major causative agent of lung cancer other than smoking. In recent years, the hazards of human exposure to thoron (Rn-220), another isotope of radon, and its progeny have gained consensus. To accurately evaluate the dose level and hazards of Rn-220 and its progeny, a standard Rn-220 chamber with strong regulation ability for Rn-220 and its progeny needs to be established for the scale or calibration of measurement instruments. This paper describes the hazards, sources, behavioral characteristics of Rn-220 and its progeny, and some representative Rn-220 chambers established in various countries.

A low noise amplifier (LNA) is one of the key circuits of RF integrated circuits and RF systems, and it is prone to failure due to external interference, so it is necessary to carry out fault diagnosis. At present, LNA's reliable operation is mainly guaranteed through the testing of multiple performance parameters. The testing cost is high and the testing time is long. Moreover, the coupling relationship between each component and each test parameter is not considered, so it is difficult to isolate the faults. The multi-signal model uses a directed graph to describe the propagation dependence of faults, which is a very effective method in electronic system-level fault diagnosis. In this paper, a multi-signal model is proposed to describe the propagation dependence between the LNA fault modes and each test parameter, then a multi-core parallel diagnosis algorithm based on the multi-signal model and OpenMP is proposed for the rapid diagnosis of RF circuits. ADS is used to simulate the LNA circuit based on ATF54143. For the proposed multi-core parallel diagnosis method, the fault coverage rate can reach 100% and the fault isolation rate can reach 81.8% for a single fault, and the diagnosis efficiency can reach 2.033 under 4 threads. © 2023 IEEE.

Motivated by the development of artificial intelligence, data-driven fault diagnosis for analogue circuits has become popular. Data-driven methods commonly include two stages: the feature extraction stage and the fault isolation stage. Traditional feature extraction methods, mainly using signal processing, suffer from the problem of information loss and are highly dependent on prior knowledge. In order to deal with the limitations above, a semi-supervised representation learning method is proposed for fault diagnosis. An autoencoder-based structure is adopted to establish a mathematical encoder. The proposed encoder can directly capture the latent feature from the original signal data without traditional data processing. And then a two-layer neural network is applied to further fault classification task. Experiments on two classical filter circuits are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness and merits of the proposed fault diagnosis method for analogue circuits. © The Institution of engineering & technology 2024.

With the development of Internet of Things technology, traditional power grids are gradually integrating with the Internet of Things to form the power Internet of Things, greatly improving the level of informatisation and intelligence. The terminal sensors in the perception layer of the power Internet of Things cannot apply complex security technologies due to device performance limitations, thus facing information security risks. This paper proposes a data tamper proof method for power IoT sensors based on convolutional encoding and decoding. This method can recover erroneous data to correct data when transmission information is disturbed and errors occur. Moreover, terminal devices of the power Internet of Things are usually embedded systems, and the communication, storage, and computing capabilities of the devices are limited to a certain extent. Convolutional codes have lower algorithm complexity and less computational overhead, and can adapt to most scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

The proper functioning of electromechanical equipment is of paramount importance to the owner. Power analyzer, as an instrument capable of measuring high-precision power of the EE, is widely used in its research and development, production and maintenance. The complex use environment is one of the key factors affecting the performance of the PA. Therefore, in this paper, a hardware architecture of the PA based on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) and embedded Industrial Personal Computer(IPC) is proposed. First, the system startup process is analyzed from three aspects: system power-up sequence, DC power ripple elimination and external device identification, and the corresponding system startup algorithm is proposed. Second, using the BPI configuration mode to reduce the loading time of the system. Finally, a hardware experimental platform is designed and the proposed Power analyzer system algorithm of starting time sequence is verified on this platform. The experimental results show that the designed start-up algorithm can ensure the normal start-up of PA in different ambient temperatures, which has very important engineering significance. © 2023 IEEE.

A multi-body dynamic simulation model is established to study the rack railway guiding equipment (RRGE) in the mountain rack railway train system. This model incorporates the effects of wheel rail-rack rail contact and linear spring damper, which can accurately depict the dynamic response of RRGE. Considering the factors such as train passing speed, vertical distance, and initial gear posture, the model is first applied to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the gear. Then according to the gear entry condition and gear rotational speed, the vibration response of RRGE when the gear passing through rollers is analyzed. Finally, the dynamic characteristics of gear and RRGE under two extreme conditions are comparatively analyzed, and a set of parameters are proposed to ensure the smooth transition of the train. The simulation results show that, to ensure the safety of the mountain rack railway train, it is recommended to set the vertical distance at 173 mm and the initial gear posture at tooth contact. Furthermore, when selecting the train passing speed, factors such as gear entry condition, train operation efficiency, and shock vibration level should be taken into consideration. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Prior to nanoscale memristors are commercially viable, accurately verifying the characteristics of memristors in hardware is one of the effective approaches to rapidly expanding their engineering by applications. Nevertheless, the commonly used equivalent circuit based on commercial devices has issues: large errors, inefficiency, and compatibility. This paper proposes a general digital model for memristors based on Taylor expansion and introduces a polynomial order determination method. Numerical simulations confirm that the proposed model exhibits three typical characteristics of memristors. Afterwards, a reconfigurable memristor simulator is developed based on FPGA. Finally, the simulator is embedded in a digital oscilloscope, and an interface is designed to display the hysteresis loop of the memristor. In addition, by online modification of the polynomial coefficients, the existing memristors can be simulated in the designed platform and the phase trajectory can be displayed with high accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.
