Biological evolution has deepened our understanding of nature. Since the advent of civilization, humans have continually explored ways to record what they see and hear, from cave sketches to camera photography, with clarity being a consistent goal. Image super-resolution technology has made significant progress, but early methods like interpolation and filtering couldn’t effectively restore details. Traditional convolution methods require high computational and storage resources, limiting their use in hardware-constrained scenarios. Therefore, finding a method that reduces computational resources while ensuring effectiveness is crucial. This paper proposes the Residual Swin Transformer Block based on the Swin Transformer and designs the SR-Swin deep learning model for super-resolution image processing. Experiments show it achieves an average PSNR value of 30.6 dB, indicating good performance.

As an important equipment in substations, 110kV current transformers play a role in measurement, control, and protection. Insulation defects are prone to occur during operation, and preventive tests should be conducted regularly on current transformers. By measuring the tan $\delta$ of 110kV current transformers under different temperature and humidity conditions, the existing temperature and humidity conversion comes from the former Soviet Union. Due to changes in equipment materials, structures, etc., the original conversion factor may not be applicable now. The experiment studied the problem of the influence of temperature and humidity on the current transformer $\tan \delta$ due to the lack of on-site measurement. The experimental results were statistically analyzed using data analysis software such as Matlab, and a method for correcting the influence of temperature and humidity on the measurement results was obtained through Gauss Newton iteration. This provides a reference for on-site judgment of the insulation condition of current transformers.

In this paper, a new consequent-pole hybrid excited (HE) machine with segmented stator (CHE-SS machine) is proposed, which can be applied in some variable speed applications. To decrease the torque ripple, the segmented structure is adopted in the stator. The stator tooth can be divided into two types: the primary tooth and the secondary tooth. The field winding is placed on the primary tooth. The armature winding is placed on the secondary tooth. The U-typed permanent magnets (PMs) are placed in the rotor to improve the torque density and the rigidity. To validate the superiority of the proposed machine, some electromagnetic properties, such as the back electromotive force (back-EMF), the output torque and the cogging torque are simulated and analyzed by the finite element (FE) method. The FE-predicted results show that this proposed machine can exhibit excellent performances.

This paper is concerned with the dynamic coverage of multiple autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs) in the presence of static and dynamic obstacles, limited communication distance, and measurement noises. A modular control method including planning, guidance, and control is proposed. At the planning level, a swarm-based dynamic coverage strategy is developed to achieve the coverage of a given domain. Both the collision avoidance and connectivity preservation issues are solved by using artificial potential fields. At the kinematic level, novel adaptive line-of-sight guidance laws are presented based on cascade extended state observers (CESOs), such that accurate guidance signals are given by compensating for time-varying sideslip angle and suppressing measurement noises. At the kinetic level, two CESOs are developed to estimate the internal model uncertainties and external environmental disturbance, and antidisturbance kinetic control laws are designed subsequently. The proposed CESOs overcome the noises sensitivity problem of classical observers, and thus facilitate the practical implementation under measurement noises. The input-to-state stability of the closed-loop system is confirmed by the Lyapunov theory and cascade stability theory. Simulation and hardware-in-the-loop experiment results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed swarm-based dynamic coverage method. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

With increasing the awareness of environmentally friendly, the ship-integrated energy system (S-IES) combined with power and heating networks has become an upcoming trend in the shipbuilding industry. It decreases the consumption of fuel-based resources by integrating renewable energy resources to replace traditional fossil-based generators partly. Meanwhile, with many intelligent devices, the S-IES performs partitioned and autonomous features because of the unique operational structure. Therefore, the normal operation of S-IES is highly vulnerable, which will be bothered by the infeasibility-driven attack for shipboard devices and influenced by the uncertainties of renewable energy resources. To this end, the energy management problem (EMP) under cyber attacks for S-IES is focused on ensuring secure and green sailing in this article. To balance the number of nods and decrease the communication resources among energy devices, a partitioning algorithm is designed to construct the energy router (ER)-based energy hub (EH) for S-IES. Meanwhile, considering the tradeoff relationship between the economy and carbon emission, a multiobjective energy management model with feasible sailing constraints is designed. Then, to ensure the information exchange among EHs using ERs, a distributed resilient energy management strategy with a detection mechanism is proposed to acquire the optimal solutions under cyber attack. Finally, the theoretical analysis verifies the effectiveness of the designed distributed resilient strategy. Simulation results of different scenarios prove the great performance on ensuring secure and green sailing for ships by the constructed energy management model and its distributed resilient strategy. © 2015 IEEE.

High power microwave early irradiation has a great potential in assisting excavators in breaking hard and abrasive rocks, radiation efficiency is a very important issue. The paper studied the radiation of standard rectangular waveguides on rocks at different working distances, obtained the minimum S 11 parameter through CST simulation, and determined the corresponding optimal radiation position, at a working distance of 0.31λ, the S 11 is minimum, which is the optimal position of the sample relative to the microwave antenna. Using this method, we can quickly and accurately obtain the efficiency of microwave coupling into rocks, can guide practical engineering applications.

Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) is one of the key technologies that allow the radar system to accomplish electromagnetic interference. The dual-channel frequency memory and retransmission module with 5GSPS sampling rate, which is built in the 'ADC + FPGA + dual DAC' hardware architecture, combines the multiport memory architecture of AXI4+DDR3 and the internal BRAM resources of FPGA, and it is logically designed to be a dual-channel module with one receiving port and two transmission ports. The two channels are mutually independent and controllable and can support fast retransmission and deep memory of DRFM. Most of the blackouts and brownouts occur due to the slow response time of devices over the grid[1]. This makes high bandwidth network widely used in smart grids. Eye diagram is commonly used to evaluate the communication ability. But right now, eye diagram drawn and bit error rate measurement still depends on traditional separated instrument, including oscilloscope and BERT. Not only is this way costly, but also the line speed and amplitude resolution can’t meet the increasing demand, especially, when the PAM4 has been widely used. In this paper, a tiny portable block integrating pattern generation and sampling based on delay line has been proposed. It’s adaptable for both low and high data line speed from 1Mbps to 32Gbps to meet different test condition. Besides, it achieves 16-bit voltage resolution with high output swing. A self calibration way has been proposed to make sure the accuracy and reliability of eye diagram and BER measurement. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper proposed a multi-level image steganography model that integrates with image and plaintext encryption schemes. The model starts by partitioning the cover-image pixel positions into two regions of respective purposes, one is reserved to hold the data, and through the implementation of the dynamic difference expansion principle, the other sloughs some parts to the reserved region in responsive to the size of the data to embed. Continuously reseeding and initializing the parameter values of a Linear Congruential Generator (LCG), generate a set of random pixel positions as members of the reserved region. Before data embedding, the region reserved to hold the data as well as the data bits to embed, are then encrypted using AES with respective keys. Encryption keys are randomly generated using a Cryptographically Secure Pseudo-Random Number Generator (CSPRNG), the Fortuna algorithm. Multiplex security nature of using a randomization generator to reserve image region for encryption and encrypting plaintext data before performing steganography still ensures stability in computational complexities better than a logarithmic O(n log n). A visual inspection by evaluators who made 3000 choices to correctly differentiate stego images from its cover-images shows that only 47 choices were correct, 1884 choices were wrong, while 1069 choices were uncertain. An experiment shows an average Embedding Rates (ERs) of 0.00109 bpp and an average PSNR of 72. This concludes, as our integrated steganography and image encryption which implements the dynamic difference expansion principle, outputs encrypted stego mages that can deceive the naked human eyes into identifying them as rather cover-images, its embedding rate is faster (i.e. ER < 0.1), suitably good, and ensures better imperceptibility of cover-image alterations.
