The broadband quadrature reception system adopts a time interleaved sampling structure to perform high-speed sampling on the phase/quadrature (I/Q) signals after quadrature mixing, in order to meet the high bandwidth and high-speed sampling requirements of the system. In response to the serious impact of time-interleaved analog to digital converter (TIADC) mismatch and I/Q imbalance errors on key indicators of the system, this paper proposes a joint compensation method based on linear neural networks. This method uses the end-to-end compensation method to jointly compensate for the two errors without establishing an accurate joint error model, and simulation results have demonstrated the effectiveness of this method. In addition, the network model has scalability, and future research can further include more types of system distortion errors and perform joint compensation. © 2023 IEEE.

A remaining useful life (RUL) prediction method is proposed, which uses a particle filter (PF) with the generalized exponential distribution (GE). There are three parameters in the adopted GE and the maximum likelihood estimation is used to estimate the parameters of GE. Due to the parameters in GE, more prior information in historical data can be absorbed and taken into PF for RUL prediction. The battery data from NASA Prognostics Center of Excellence Data Set Repository (PCoE) are used to compare the performance of the proposed method and that of using PF with the exponential function. The experiment results show that the performance of the proposed method is better. © 2022 IEEE.

The integration of human-machine co-driving marks an inevitable stage in the progression of autonomous driving technology. Situations where a driver's intentions differ from those of the automated driving system can pose risks to both the vehicle and other road users. Hence, accurately measuring these disparities becomes a crucial challenge in promoting a smooth and safe human-machine co-driving experience. This research delves into quantifying conflicts that arise during human-machine co-driving by combining subjective and objective approaches. Using a simulation platform and devices to capture physiological signals during collaborative driving scenarios, the study explores effective methods for evaluating these inherent conflicts. In this paper, a new human-machine co-driving system based on visual feedback is introduced and validated through experiments in a simulated driving environment. By correlating subjective driver perceptions with empirical data, the reliability of the conflict quantification metric is ultimately confirmed. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper is concered with the nonlinear cyber physical system (CPS) with uncertain parameters under false data injection (FDI) attacks. The interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy model is utilized to approximate the nonlinear system, then the nonlinear system can be represented as a convex combination of linear systems. To detect the FDI attacks, a novel robust fuzzy extended state observer with H∞ preformance is proposed, where the fuzzy rules are utilized to the observer to estimate the FDI attacks. Utilizing the observation of the FDI attacks, a security control scheme is proposed in this paper, in which a compensator is designed to offset the FDI attacks. Simulation examples are given to illustrate the effecitveness of the proposed security scheme. © 2022 IEEE.

Unlike single eddy current coil, eddy current array (ECA) which arranges multiple eddy current coils in a certain way, has the property of higher accuracy and efficiency to detect defects. The process of eddy current array collecting data own naturally spatial and temporal characteristics. In this paper, we introduce spatiotemporal self-attention mechanism to ECA Testing, and propose a spatiotemporal self-attention network for defect detection. In our framework, features from different channels are extracted separately and fused together by Downsampling Residual Attention Modules (DRAM) and Residual Attention Modules (RAM) in a pyramid manner, in which temporal attention module (TA) and spatial attention module (SA) are incorporated to capture spatiotemporally the features of defects. And the depth-wise and point-wise convolution are utilized to compute channel weights and spatial weights in TA and SA modules, respectively. Multiple channel data is taken as input from ECA, which finally leads to a classification result. The experimental results show that the proposed method not only outperforms the traditional image processing method significantly, but also is better than the state of the arts - ResNet, DenseNet in terms of F1 and accuracy. © 2022 IEEE.

The subject of target tracking for satellite videos has received more and more attention. Owing to the development of convolutional neural network, it has been demonstrated that the trackers using deep convolutional features perform well on several object tracking benchmarks. However, it is difficult to achieve excellent results directly in the field of satellite video tracking as there are several challenges such as low resolution, complex backgrounds, limited edge information, many interfering targets, loss of occlusion, etc. Thus, in this paper, we introduce an offline-trained meta-updater into the deep learning tracker to guide the tracker's update in complex situations. Furthermore, we utilize the idea of knowledge distillation to effectively enhance the feature representation, discrimination and localization abilities in tiny object tracking in satellite video. The experimental results on satellite video datasets show that our tracker outperforms other representative deep convolutional feature-based tracking methods in terms of accuracy and precision. © 2022 IEEE.

The energy response of the NaI(TI) scintillation detector has been experimentally investigated by a single-crystal monochromatic X-rays beam facility, a double-crystal monochromatic X-rays beam facility and a calibrated HPGe standard detector. The experimental results show that the NaI detector has great energy linearity in the (22-80)keV energy range and the energy resolution better than 26.13%@22keV. These results will contribute to the scientific research and detection work of NaI detector. © 2022 IET Conference Proceedings. All rights reserved.

This paper aims to propose an electronic chart recognition method based on an ensemble broad learning system (EBLS) to improve the safety analysis ability of waterway areas. Firstly, it is constructed for a dataset containing the navigational difficulty levels of an electronic chart dataset. Secondly, the VGG16 network is employed as the preprocessing model. Finally, the preprocessed data is fed into the ensemble broad learning system to recognize the navigational difficulty levels of the electronic chart dataset. Compared with other algorithms, the experimental results show that the proposed algorithm obtains a great improvement in the accuracy of recognizing the navigational difficulty in the electronic chart dataset, thereby contributing to the enhancement of safety analysis in the waterway area. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to solve the global route planning problem for unmanned surface vessel (USV) in static complicated sea surfaces, this paper proposes a solution method based on the technique of computational fluid dynamics combined with ant colony genetic algorithm, which can generate smooth paths and find a globally feasible solution, and can solve the global route planning problem of USV. First, a model map is constructed by using Ansys Fluent software, and the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method is used to solve the flow equations and generate the flow map of the USV navigating in the sea. Second, the complex local sea area is transformed into a grid form, and the ant colony genetic algorithm is used to generate the optimal local routes. Then, the local routes are combined with the global flow map to obtain the optimal global routes. Finally, the validity and practicality of USV route planning are demonstrated by the simulation experiments and results. The proposed method ensures that USV reaches its destination safely and efficiently during navigation and provides an effective solution to the global route planning problem in static and complex sea surfaces. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper discusses the robust stability and stabilization of incommensurate fractional-order uncertain systems by the parameter space method. Analyzing the Jacobian matrix around the equilibrium points is a direct way to test whether systems satisfy the asymptotic stability theorem. The asymptotic stability theorem of incommensurate fractional-order systems is an expansion of the commensurate ones. This expansion often makes the characteristic equation of the Jacobian matrix high-dimensional. When systems are with uncertain parameters, it is difficult to solve all roots of the high-dimensional equation. In this paper, a parameter space method is proposed by transforming the high-dimensional characteristic equation into a parameter-dependent equation, for selecting the complete stable region from the parameter space directly. One example shows robust stability and stabilization results by using the parameter space method. © 2022 IEEE.
