With the wide application of distributed energy resources and the rapid development of renewable energy technologies, building energy systems are gradually evolving towards high efficiency, flexibility and *** buildings (Photovoltaic Electricity Generation, Electricity Storage, direct current Distribution and Flexible Electricity Consumption), as an emerging building energy system, provide a solution for the efficient use of renewable energy and the optimization of energy consumption. While the traditional alternating current (AC) grid has problems of energy loss and instability in the transmission and distribution of energy, the direct current (DC) distribution grid can reduce energy loss and improve the efficiency of energy utilization. The DC distribution grid architecture of PEDF buildings can not only supply the DC power generated by the PV power generation system directly to the load equipment inside the building, but also store the excess power to improve the stability and reliability of the energy, and also It can realize the optimal distribution and management of energy through the intelligent energy management system, which can effectively reduce energy waste, improve energy utilization efficiency, and provide strong support for the sustainable development of the building. This paper summarizes the research progress of PEDF buildings in establishing DC distribution network architecture, which can better understand the advantages and disadvantages of the building and the challenges it faces, and aims to provide reference for researchers and practitioners in this field.

An improved CA-SCL (CRC-Aided Successive Cancellation List) decoding algorithm for Polar codes is proposed in this paper. By introducing the global cyclic redundancy check and local parity check, a lower bit error rate is obtained comparing with the known results. The new algorithm constructs a prune decoding path by the parity check in the local processing. Since the parity check can only detect an odd number of errors, the global CRC is used to increase the error detection ability and the decoding accuracy. The performance of the improved decoding algorithm is better than the known results, especially when the code length is either less than or equal to 512, and the code rate is not greater than 0.5 in case of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) higher than 3dB. In particular, when the code length is 256 with code rate of 0.5 and decoding list size of 32 under the condition of bit error rate 10-5 on the AWGN channel, the proposed algorithm has around 0.25dB and 0.55dB performance gain comparing with that of the CA-SCL and SCL algorithms, respectively. © 2022 IEEE.

DC/DC converter is the key component of power supply system, its safety and reliability ensure the stable operation of the system. Under various environmental stresses, the parameters of the converter gradually deviate from their initial values as the running time increases. When the parameters exceed a certain threshold, the system will suffer from soft faults. This paper presents a novel feature extraction method for soft fault diagnosis of DC/DC converters using wavelet analysis (WA) and gramian angular field (GAF). The degradation index is the ripple of output voltage, After the correlation time-frequency features are extracted by WA, the correlation features are cross-fused by GAF method. On the basis of fusion features, K-nearest neighbor (KNN) network is established for soft fault detection and location. Since no additional hardware or signal injection is required, the entire application process is low in cost and complexity. Simulation and experimental results show the proposed method has a good diagnosis effect on various soft faults. © 2023 IEEE.

The trouble caused by instability of the controller and output saturation can destroy noise reduction performance of feedback active noise control (ANC) systems. Based on the traditional leaky filtered-x least mean square (FxLMS) algorithm, a frequency-weighted leaky FxLMS algorithm is proposed in this paper, where the weight factors of the proposed algorithm are characterized in frequency-domain and can be calculated directly by solving a constrained optimization problem. Moreover, it possesses the ability to depress the control filter only at a few frequencies, which are associated with instability of the controller or output saturation, to cut down loss in noise reduction performance. Simulations and experiments are conducted in a duct ANC system to illustrate the feasibility of our algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

Intermittent faults are usually difficult to be detected, which may impact the performance and reliability of systems. Small magnitude, short duration, random occurrence, etc. are the main reasons lead to that it is intractable to effectually detect intermittent fault. Therefore, it is essential to develop competent techniques for this issue. Although many methods have been proposed to detect intermittent faults in the past few years, these methods may rely on some data assumptions, and may not fully mine hidden information and complex relationships in the data. Different approach tends to extract and utilize different process information. By ensembling the features extracted by these methods, the limitations of a single method can be overcome and the generalization ability can be improved. How to combine features extracted from different methods to improve detection performance has become a new challenge. In this paper, an optimal weighted and moving average feature ensemble model (OWMAFEM) is proposed. Firstly, the principal component analysis (PCA), dynamic PCA (DPCA), moving average PCA (MAPCA), exponentially weighted PCA (EWMPCA) and optimally weighted moving average T2 control chart (OWMA-TCC) are adopted as base detectors. Then an optimal weighted and moving average is developed to ensemble features. In addition, the superiority of the proposed approach is verified by numerical simulation. The final results show that the OWMAFEM performs better than OWMA-TCC, MAPCA, EWMPCA, PCA and DPCA. © 2023 IEEE.

With the increasing penetration of renewable energy, the application of distributed power sources is becoming more and more widespread. Distributed generators are involved in the traditional distribution network applications. Energy storage, as a key factor in regulating the voltage load curve, also affects the flow of reactive power and tide through the charging and discharging of electrical energy, and thus plays a critical role in reactive-active co-optimization. This paper propses a time series based co-optimization stratege for energy regulation of distributed power network. Firstly, reactive generators are added and a stage of energy storage siting and capacity setting is carried out. Then active-reactive co-optimization is carried out on this basis, and no energy storage is set as the reference quantity to increase the comparability. Finally, simulation experiment are conducted for a improved system of traditional IEEE33 node. The results show that energy storage has unique advantages in reducing active network loss. And the active-reactive co-optimization has a better performance in reducing network loss and voltage deviation under the state of renewable energy participation.

In order to study whether the vegetation touching single-phase conductor faults of low voltage distribution lines can lead to hill fires, a 400V low voltage bare conductor simulated tree line fault experimental platform was built. The possibility of vegetation ignition caused by vegetation contact fault in low voltage distribution lines is studied by analyzing the leakage current flowing through vegetation., the temperature rise of vegetation and the traces of carbonization on the surface. The results show that the bamboo with high water content touches the single-phase conductor fault temperature rise obviously., there are obvious charring traces near the fault point in the test., and the maximum temperature reaches 95.3 °C, the maximum leakage current is 180mA., and there is no discharge phenomenon in the test. High water content will limit the maximum temperature near the fault point to be less than the boiling point of water., and the temperature rise will accelerate the loss of water., leading to a decrease in leakage current., and eventually the temperature drop at the fault point gradually stabilizes., indicating that a single-phase conductor fault on a low voltage distribution line with vegetation touching it will not cause a fire. The results of the study are of great significance for the prevention of hill fires on low voltage distribution lines through forested areas.

As an efficient modulation technique for joint carrier amplitude and phase, Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) is a widely used modulation method in modern communications. This article designs a system of 256QAM modulation signal synthesis technology, which supports scrambling, serial data to parallel data, differential coding, channel coding, constellation mapping, shaping filtering, and digital modulation. This article also provides verification tests for the key blocks of the 256QAM algorithm, including the functional test of the scrambling block, the functional test of the shaping filter module, and the functional test of the overall modulated signal. The test results show that the designed module meets the design requirements and meets the expected indicators. © 2023 IEEE.

Silicone rubber composite insulators are often used in high-altitude environments, but the intense ultraviolet (UV) radiation in these areas can impact their reliability. Therefore, it is essential to study how silicone rubber materials age under UV irradiation. In this work, UV-B radiation for 1000 h was used to simulate the ageing process, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS) analysis were conducted for liquid silicone rubber. The results showed that under UV-B radiation, SiO2 particles appeared on the surface of the silicone rubber due to the crosslinking reactions about formation of Si-O-Si bonds. The methyl groups of the silicone rubber side chains were broken, due to chain scission reaction. Additionally, the ageing process was found to develop from the surface to the inside, and the intensity of UV ageing increases with time. This study offers a detailed analysis of the surface and depth variations of the microstructure in silicone rubber, which is essential for its use in high-voltage transmission lines. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. When the inter-turn short circuit fault occurs in the dry-type air-core shunt reactor (DASR), the short circuit loop will consume a large amount of active power, which will cause the equipment temperature to rise in a short time and damage the equipment. Therefore, it is very important to detect the fault in the early stage of the inter-turn short circuit fault. This paper presents a method to detect the number of inter-turn short circuit fault turns of the DASR based on modified active power (Pm) and modified reactive power (Qm), at low voltage with low frequency. The formulas for Pm and Qm are obtained by adding correction factors to the formulas for active power and reactive power respectively. Their correction factors are obtained by using genetic algorithm. The variations of Pm and Qm under normal condition and short circuit condition with different turns are studied. The inter-turn short circuit fault with different frequency and different fault location is simulated. It provides a feasible method for detecting the inter-turn short circuit fault of the DASR and determining the number of short circuit turns. © 2022 IEEE.
