Ensuring the safety and security of our oceans demands a comprehensive Maritime Situational Awareness (MSA) strategy. However, this task has several challenges, including using multi-modal data, data sharing among agencies, privacy concerns, and bandwidth limitations. To address these challenges, this research introduced FedRS-Net. FedRS-Net is a federated deep learning framework that trains multi-modal remote sensing data without exposing client data. The system employs a communication-efficient federated averaging algorithm and a novel convolutional neural network architecture called Redesigned Skip Connection. It integrates synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and optical satellite imageries to achieve remarkable results. Extensive experiments were conducted on the maritime vessel datasets, resulting in a testing accuracy of $99.8 \%$. Further, applying secure aggregation and momentum-based gradient compression reduced communication costs by $\mathbf{7 \%}$. FedRS-Net overcomes privacy concerns and facilitates agency collaboration by enabling collective maritime monitoring through decentralized data. This research provides a robust federated learning solution tailored for multi-modal remote sensing analytics applications.

Compressed Sampling (CS) overcomes the oversam-pling trap caused by using Shannon's sampling theorem in sparse ultra-wideband signals. The Random Demodulator (RD) is the infrastructure for compressive sampling, which uses a random sequence to induce an aliasing spectrum, then passes through a filter (equivalent integrator) and sampled at a low rate. Numer-ous scholarly works have been refined and optimized utilizing this framework. This work also proposes an optimized, lower-correlation RD framework named Random Sampling Period Ze-roing Integrator (RSPZI). It retains the aliasing sequences $P_{c}$ and period reset integrator of RD while using a randomly triggered holders (Matrix operations are accumulations of pseudo-random intervals) of Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) to smear the tones and increase the reconstruction probability. This work gives a possible solution for constructing an RSPZI and explains why the RSPZI can smear the tones, allowing us to recover the full frequency band from the baseband samples. Furthermore, we mathematically demonstrate that RSPZI has a lower correlation between the sparse and compressed matrices compared to RD. Therefore, the probability of exact reconstruction of RSPZI is higher. Experimental results support these conclusions.

With the development of renewable and distributed energy sources, DC microgrids(Mgs) are widely used in various microgrid fields due to their advantages of no AC-DC conversion, high efficiency, and no harmonic, synchronization, and reactive power problems. In this paper, a dynamic droop control is proposed, where an additional dynamic droop term is added to the conventional droop control to form a two-degree-of-freedom droop structure, which improves the dynamic tracking performance of the system without affecting the power regulation of the conventional droop control. In this paper, the output impedance of the conventional droop control system is firstly pushed to in detail to demonstrate that the droop coefficient of the original droop system affects both the linearized power regulation performance and the dynamic performance. At the same time, the output impedance of the system of the proposed method is also pushed to the comparison of the output impedance of this method, and the dynamic parameters of the original system are improved by reasonable design parameters. Finally, simulations and experiments verify the correctness of the proposed method.

The paper mainly investigates the distributed unknown input observer-based global fault-tolerant average consensus control problem for multi-agent systems (MASs). First, a distributed unknown input observer based on relative estimation error is proposed, which can effectively reduce the impact of external disturbances and achieve accurate estimation of the agent states and the faults they suffered. Then, based on the obtained accurate estimations and using the relative estimation error, a global fault-tolerant average consensus controller is proposed. The proposed controller can compensate for the effects of faults and enable the MASs to achieve global average consensus. Finally, simulations are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

This paper presents a novel design of an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) module that is pluggable into all kinds of existing laser heads in industrial applications. The current method of coupling OCT with a laser head needs customized light-splitting optics inside the laser head, which bounds the OCT and laser head manufacturers, hence hindering a wider application of OCT in the monitoring of laser processing. For the existing laser heads in service that need to add the function of OCT monitoring, one needs to open up the laser head, install the dichroic mirror, and tune the optics, which is time-consuming and runs the risk of damaging the laser head. In addition, the existing OCT coupling method shoots the probe beam through the thick focus lens for high power laser beam, which degrades the signal strength and introduces dispersion issue. To address these issues, we propose a laser head-independent OCT module that functions as a plug-in component, which avoids interference with the laser head and works fully independent. The test demonstrates the feasibility of the plug-and-play solution for new independent OCT products and updating the existing laser head with OCT function with seamless integration and un-degraded performance.

Proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) has the advantages of low operating temperature, fast start-up, high power density, etc., which has a wide application prospect in the field of automotive power. The fuel cell performance can be analyzed under different current densities by using the zonal current collection detection technique. However, the existing method has low resolution and cannot accurately reflect the current distribution inside the automotive fuel cell stack. In this paper, a high-resolution segmented measurement device with 396 points is used to experimentally test the local current density distribution characteristics of a 406 cm 2 automotive fuel cell during a stepwise increase in load current, and the results are presented in three-dimensional data. The experimental results show that when the load current is 0.1 A/cm 2 , the current density at the hydrogen inlet is significantly higher than that at the oxygen inlet, with the highest current density of 0.154 A/cm 2 and the lowest of 0.0489 A/cm 2 ; when the load current is 0.6A/cm 2 , the current density at the oxygen inlet is higher than that at the hydrogen inlet, with the highest current density of 0.926 A/cm 2 and the lowest current density of 0.375 A/cm 2 with a difference of 0.551 A/cm 2 . The precise analysis of the current density distribution characteristics using the high-resolution segmented current collection measurement technique is of great importance in studying the control strategy of the fuel cell system and diagnosing the failure.

In electronic warfare, the development of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radars and electronic information countermeasures (EIC) equipment affects the power of weaponry, communications between forces, and the coordination of command and control warfare. In an electronic countermeasures environment, the problems of background noise interference and lack of sparse priori information associated with radar signals can degrade the processing speed and accuracy of the channel receiver. Meanwhile, the compressed sensing (CS) method to solve the massive data processing problem of MIMO radar systems is difficult to obtain ideal reconstruction results under low signal-to-noise ratio conditions, especially in the fields of wave-absorbing material frontend characterisation and radar electronic countermeasures. To address the non-adaptive problem of MIMO radar systems to noise and sparse priors, this letter proposes a CS-MIMO radar device self-test-compensation framework with sparsity and noise adaptation, which is divided into two parts: noise compensation and sparsity adaptive selection of measurement optimization methods. First, we establish a channel noise model and theoretically explain the noise folding principle by analyzing the effect of noise on the reconstruction performance of the CS-MIMO radar receiver. Then, we analyze the statistical properties of the compressive measurement noise and its effect on the reconstruction performance and design a compressive domain projection adaptive filter (CPAF) to obtain the position information of the noise subspace. This information is further used to construct a noise compensation matrix and optimize the adaptive filter parameters to filter out the channel noise introduced into the CS-MIMO radar and compress the subband noise background of the receiver. The repetitive controller (RC), owing to the capability of zero-error tracking periodical signals, is widely used to compensate for harmonics in the grid. Compared with Conventional RC, by eliminating specific order harmonics for different application scenarios, selective harmonic repetitive controller (SHRC) can simultaneously achieve high control accuracy and less computation burden. As SHRC is sensitive to frequency variations, it is improved to frequency adaptive SHRC (FA-SHRC) via adding filters to approximately compensate fractional-order delays caused by frequency variations. However, the external stability of FA-SHRC remains a problem. In the article, a detailed passivity-based designed approach of FA-SHRC is proposed. The proposed method can tune the impedance of the inverter with FA-SHRC passive for the full frequency range, which ensures the system is stable, dynamic, and adaptive regardless of grid impedance and frequency variations. Finally, experiments are performed to validate the superiority of the approach for designing FA-SHRC.

This paper investigates secure and privacy-preserving consensus control for cooperative-competitive multi-agent systems (MASs) under Byzantine attacks. Considering that agents simultaneously interact cooperatively and competitively, we introduce a novel differential private (DP) resilient bipartite consensus protocol based on the Mean-Subsequence-Reduced (MSR) algorithm to defend against Byzantine agents. First, a resilient bipartite consensus controller incorporating Laplace noise is developed, which only works on competitive pairs of agents in the presence of potential eavesdroppers. Then, the convergence and privacy analyses demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively preserve the privacy of initial states while simultaneously achieving resilient bipartite consensus. Furthermore, the privacy level is shown to be correlated with the minimum network degree. Finally, numerical simulations verify the effectiveness of the proposed results.

This paper studies the problem of a fuzzy integral sliding mode control (SMC) with switching gains for fuzzy impulsive systems with parametric uncertainties and unknown nonlinearity. To parametric uncertainties and unknown nonlinearity of the controlled system, a new fuzzy integral-based SMC approach is introduced. Compared with the traditional fuzzy integral SMC method, the sliding surface (SS) designed for fuzzy impulsive systems incorporates an additional impulsive component, aimed at preserving the continuity of the SS. Based on the designed fuzzy integral sliding surface, a fuzzy integral SMC law with switching gains is proposed to guarantee the attainment of the sliding surface at any specified time, and its switching gains is used to save resources by considering the different switching instants of the closed-loop systems. Then, by using the Lyapunov function theory and developing a time-varying Lyapunov function, the sufficient conditions to ensure exponential stability of the closed-loop system are established. Additionally, to convert the resulting nonlinear matrix inequalities into linear ones, a design algorithm for determining the control gains is formulated, leveraging the derived stability conditions and applying the Schur complement. Finally, by using an inverted pendulum as a simulation case, the efficiency of the constructed fuzzy integral SMC approach is proved.
