In modern agricultural production, timely detection of crop diseases and accurate assessment of ripeness are crucial for reducing yield loss and enhancing product quality. Strawberries, being a widely popular and economically valuable fruit, are particularly sensitive to diseases and strict in ripeness requirements, making quality control during their production critical. This paper develops a classification system for strawberry ripeness and pest disease detection based on the YOLOv5 deep learning model and automated robotic arm technology. The YOLOv5 model, known for its high efficiency, accurately identifies strawberries and assesses their ripeness and pest conditions, thereby enhancing the precision and speed of detection. The automated robotic arm technology utilizes the detection results from the YOLOv5 model to perform efficient and accurate automated sorting and grading of strawberries, significantly reducing labor costs and human error. By integrating deep learning and automation technologies, this system substantially increases strawberry yield and quality, alleviates labor burdens, and enhances agricultural production efficiency.

The tree direct contact line is the fault type that has the greatest impact on the power system in the tree-line contradiction. At present, most of the existing studies are aimed at the monitoring and disposal of tree line faults, but there are few studies on the fire time of tree line faults. Based on the 10kV simulated test line, this paper builds a tree line fault simulation test platform for 10 kV distribution lines. The common tree species under the transmission line in Sichuan are selected as test sample trees. The fire time of different types of trees after tree line failure is studied. The test study obtained the fire time of three kinds of trees under the condition of capacitance current of different lines to the ground. It was found that the fire time is not directly related to the tree and impedance. The main factors affecting the fire time are the thickness of the tree and the size of the capacitance current of the transmission line. The process of tree burning can be divided into 4 stages, namely: arc preheating stage, epidermal carbonization stage, water evaporation stage and branch burning stage, and can correspond to the changing trend of leakage current. The research results can provide technical reference for preventing wildfires caused by transmission line tree line faults.

In recent years, many semantic segmentation methods based on convolutional neural networks (CNN) have been applied to road extraction, but objects with similar spectral characteristics to roads in RGB images and road occlusions cause the discontinuous output of road extraction. To ensure extraction performance, hyperspectral data is used as a supplement to RGB data to improve the ability of remote sensing image road extraction in this paper. This paper uses a multi-scale fusion attention network to combine RGB and multispectral imagery. First, band selection is used to select multispectral bands with high inter-class separability, and the Cross-Source Feature Recalibration Module (CSFR) is used to calibrate and fuse spectral features at different scales to achieve fusion of multi-source features at different scales. In addition, a multi-scale attention decoder is proposed to fuse multi-level road features and global context information. The proposed method was applied to the SpaceNet dataset and self-annotated images from Chongzhou, a representative city in China. Our method performs better over the baseline HRNet by a large margin of +6.38 IoU and +5.11 F1-score on the SpaceNet dataset, +3.61 IoU and +2.32 F1-score on the self-annotated dataset (ChongZhou dataset).

The tree direct contact line is the fault type that has the greatest impact on the power system in the tree-line contradiction. At present, most of the existing studies are aimed at the monitoring and disposal of tree-line faults, but there are few studies on the impedance characteristics of trees when tree- line faults occur. Based on the 10k V simulated test line, this paper experimentally studies the change process, development trend and change characteristics of tree impedance when trees of different types, lengths and moisture contents have tree-line faults, as well as the influence of different system capacitive currents on fault characteristics. The experiment took three different species of pine, eucalyptus and bamboo as the test objects. The results showed that the impedance characteristics of the three different species of trees during tree line contact discharge were different, among which pine and eucalyptus had larger impedance and bamboo had smaller impedance. And the correlation between tree length and tree impedance is not strong. Under the premise of the same tree species, the impedance of the part with high moisture content is small, and the impedance of the part with low moisture content is large. In the time range of 0~ 20s, the impedance of trees decreases with the increase of discharge time.

As an essential maritime relay station, the allocation of a limited number of Aerial Base Stations (ABSs) to meet the communication needs of unmanned surface equipments has emerged a vital issue. This paper investigates the selection of formation centers for time-varying formation control of nonlinear Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) assisted by ABSs. First, considering the Laplacian matrix among the leader ABSs and follower USVs, a communication volume-based and position-dependent algorithm is developed to determine the assigned ABSs for each USV. Next, leveraging fuzzy approximators, a fuzzy time-varying formation control protocol for the USVs is proposed, with the assigned ABS serving as the formation center. Furthermore, based on Lyapunov stability theory, it is demonstrated that all USVs successfully achieve the predefined time-varying formation structure while rotating around the selected ABS. Finally, a numerical simulation is provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results. © 2024 IEEE.

To realize the dual carbon policy, the goal of energy saving, and emission reduction, it is important to develop ways to better promote the low carbon economic operation of energy systems. Therefore, this research proposes an optimal operation strategy considering the electric-gas-cooling-heat demand response. Considering the demand response of each participant, an integrated energy system model with photovoltaic, wind energy, and traditional grid as energy supply. Also, electric energy, natural gas, cooling, and heating subsystems with co-production are established. With minimizing the overall system operation cost and optimizing environmental protection, the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve the multi-constrained objective optimization problem. Finally, the optimized model is tested. The results from this study show that the energy system under cogeneration can find a balance between economy and environmental friendliness, and provide a reference for the subsequent energy supply configuration. © 2022 IEEE.

In gear transmission,temperature rise has a non-negligible impact on the accuracy,noise and transmission ***,there is no relevant research on the temperature rise of the anti-backlash single-roller enveloping hourglass worm(ASEHW)*** solve this problem,based on tribology principle and Hertz contact theory,the thermal power calculation method of the ASEHW gear was proposed for the first time and thermal analysis was carried out by Ansys *** bulk temperature of the ASEHW gear under four different rotating speed(300 r/min,600 r/min,900 r/min,1200 r/min)is *** main factors causing temperature rise of the ASEHW gear are analyzed ***,an experimental study is performed to verify the simulation results and validate the theory *** theory presented in this paper provides a solution for the thermal power calculation of ASEHW *** research provides a theoretical basis for further optimization of ASEHW gear.

Semantic layout synthesis based on Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) has made significant advances, however, the generation of high-quality real remote sensing images through semantic layouts remains a significant challenge. In this paper, we propose a Multi-Task Generative Adversarial Network (MTGAN) that utilizes semantic layouts to generate remote sensing images featuring five common geographic objects. Our approach takes into account the unique characteristics of remote sensing images, such as multiple scales, multiple objects, low inter-class separability, and high intra-class heterogeneity. The MTGAN utilizes a global-local GAN structure, with the global generator producing global context information and the local generator generating specific class information. By combining global macro information and local detail information, the MTGAN is able to generate remote sensing images with close contextual connections and clear details of geographical objects.

Source optimization (SO), as a key technology of resolution enhancement technologies (RETs), is employed to improve the performance of lithographic imaging in the advanced node. It is critical to guarantee the superior convergence ability of the pixelated SO method with the optimization algorithm. In this paper, a hybrid genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed as the method of optimizing the intensity distribution of the lithographic source according to the different mask pattern. Although the obvious performance of quick convergence and global search can be well represented in GA, keeping the local optimum in the optimization process is easily caused due to the complexity mathematical model for lithographic imaging process. Tabu search algorithm is combined with GA to widen the search range and break away from the local optimum for approximately generating the global optimum results of lithographic source. The valid pixels in the pixelated source are utilized as the optimized variables, which are encoded as a 1-D matrix in the optimized model. For ensuring the continuous gray-level changes in the intensity distribution of lithographic source, the Gaussian filter method is employed to blur the source shape. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed hybrid-GA have the superior convergence performance in optimizing the intensity distribution of the lithographic source for the different mask patterns. © 2023 SPIE.

The light–matter interface is an important building block for long-distance quantum *** a scalable quantum network with high-rate quantum information processing,it requires to develop integrated light–matter interfaces with broadband and multiplexing *** we demonstrate a light–matter interface at the telecom band in an integrated system.A five-spectral-channel atomic-frequency-comb photonic memory is prepared on a laser-written Er^(3+):LiNbO_(3)*** bandwidth of each channel is 4 GHz with a channel spacing of 15 *** signal photons from time-bin entangled photon pairs at the telecom band are sent into the on-chip memory and recalled after a storage time of 152 *** entanglement-preserving nature of our integrated quantum interface is assessed by an input/output fidelity of>92%for all five spectral *** light–matter interfaces constitute a notable step forward toward a high-rate quantum network involving integrated devices.
