With the rapid development and widespread application of Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), IMU-based human localization has become critically important in environments lacking Global Navigation Satellite systems (GNSS) signals. Methods such as UWB/WIFI and other anchor-based localization have been employed to enhance the positioning accuracy. However, these methods are susceptible to the environmental interference and increased costs. In contrast, SINS-based localization methods eliminate reliance on the external data. However, this method can suffer from drift errors due to cumulative integration errors. Inertial navigation error correction techniques like Zero Detection Update Technology (ZUPT) provide potential solutions to address drift errors. This paper proposes an error correction method based on the multithreshold zero-velocity detection and Square Root Cubature Kalman Filter (SRCKF) updates. Compared to the single fixed threshold detection, the multi-threshold zero-velocity detection reduces the likelihood of missed zero velocity detection and false alarms, providing accurate time intervals for error correction. Experimental results demonstrate that the SRCKF-based algorithm reduces position deviation to approximately 0.3146 meters, corresponding to an error ratio of1.14%. The proposed method enables cost-effective and accurate pedestrian localization, driving advancements in the field. © 2023 IEEE.

Sample generation is an effective method to improve the performance of hyperspectral image classification by generating virtual samples for training sample expansion in the training process of classification. However, there are some defects existing in the previous sample generation methods including the lack of spatial information, the redundant generation and the damage of the original spectral components. In this paper, we propose conditional band selection generative adversarial net, named CBS-GAN, to handle this problem. Firstly, the band selection net of CBS-GAN is utilized to avoid redundant bands and keep original spectral information, then the generation net of CBS-GAN generates the spatial-spectral data blocks by selected bands for sample generation. The experiments of classification are also used to demonstrate the availability of virtual samples generated by our method. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The safety and security issues of autonomous navigation function become the main obstacles that hinder the widespread applications of self-driving cars and unmanned systems. In this paper, we investigate the vulnerability of LiDAR-based localization methods to adversarial attacks. Specifically, we developed a feature-based spoofing attack strategy to degrade the localization performance of LiDAR-based localization algorithms. Reflecting on the vulnerability, we additionally provide a resilient strategy to defend existing LiDAR-based localization methods against this attack. The proposed attack strategy is tested on the KITTI dataset to illustrate its effectiveness.

A three-dimensional (3D) thermal lattice Boltzmann model of crystal growth is presented to study the magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD) mixed convection in the melt of Czochralski silicon single crystal growth in this paper. In order to solve the problem of lattice Boltzmann method's difficulty in solving the flow of 3D cylindrical cavity, the 3D physical model of crystal growth is transformed from the Cartesian coordinate system to the Curvilinear coordinate system. And the irregular grids in the Cartesian coordinate system are transformed into regular grids in the Curvilinear coordinate system to facilitate the establishment of the Lattice Boltzmann model. Under the above operations, two coupled distribution functions are established to solve the governing equations. Two D3Q19 models are adopted to solve the melt velocity and temperature. And the 3D lattice Boltzmann modeling of crystal growth with cylinder boundary is realized by interpolation in Curvilinear coordinate system. The comparison with the experiment and other references proves that the proposed model and boundary treatment scheme is correct and it proposes a new way for studying the 3D crystal growth or other similar 3D cylindrical cavity simulations. Furthermore, the unstable melt flow for two cases are also simulated in this paper and the critical Reynolds number are also obtained. Results show that the introduction of the transverse magnetic field enhances the stability of the crystal growth system and increases the adjustable range of crystal rotation parameter. The obtained conclusion has an important reference for adjusting the process parameters during the CZ crystal growth. © 2024 The Author(s)

Given the dual robots play a key role for collaborative work. In this paper, an improved method is proposed to find the kinematic positive solution based on its D-H parameters, model the dual SCARA robot in MATLAB environment, and solve the collaborative workspace point cloud map by Monte Carlo method. The proposed method extracts and plots the boundary curves of the collaboration space by improved the α-Shapes algorithm, and obtains the shape of the common region of the collaboration space of the dual SCARA robots and the limit position parameters in the collaboration space. It provides a theoretical basis for the research of path planning, trajectory planning, dynamics analysis, mechanism parameter optimization, self-avoidance, and anti-collision problems of the dual-robot collaborative system.

This paper presents an improved stability criterion and controller design scheme condition for a networked control system under denial of service(DoS) attack. Firstly, the DoS attack interval is divided into attack interval and no attack interval, therefore, a switching-like event-triggered control can be established to reduce the waste of network resources and improve network efficiency. Then, the studied system is transformed into a time-delay system, and an improved stability criterion and controller design method are established by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional(LKF). Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by a simulation example.

Geo-hazards have become one of the main disasters endangering the safety of people's lives and property in the world. In order to improve the early warning of disasters, a persistent monitoring method of multi-agent systems is proposed in this work. To ensure that the agent's energy is never exhausted, the set invariance constraint is included in the optimization problem. The goal is to minimize the difference between the actual control input of the robot and the nominal control input corresponding to the task to be performed. Moreover, the control barrier function (CBF) is used to transform the forward invariance of a subset of the robot state space into a control input constraint. The coverage control method in an uncertain environment is verified by numerical simulation. This work provides new insights into effective monitoring and early warning of geo-hazards.

For hybrid energy storage systems in DC microgrids, a droop control consisting of virtual capacitors and virtual resistors can decompose power into high-frequency components and low-frequency components, then assign them to batteries and supercapacitors to respond respectively. However, aiming at the service life of the energy storage system, this paper considers the characteristics and key parameters of the hybrid energy storage structure and proposes an adaptive drooping comprehensive control strategy considering the SOC of the energy storage unit given the shortcomings of power distribution within the current hybrid energy storage. According to the self-regulation capacity of each energy storage unit, it is sorted and constrained, and protected by using SOC, which ensures the economy and safety of the system while ensuring power distribution. The traditional droop control and adaptive droop control are simulated to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

In this paper, a template matching and trend feature analysis-based data pre-processing method for seismic wave detection is proposed with two stages. In the first stage, it involves extracting the rock physical parameters from seismic wave detection results using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) method, and extracting the original rock physical parameters from the raw rock property table using keyword matching method. Using the rock physical parameters as a template, a template matching approach is employed to eliminate abnormal values from the original rock physical parameters. In the next stage, a technique is proposed to extract trend features of rock physical parameters for conducting advanced geological forecasting, which considered the expertise of experts in interpreting seismic wave detection data. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the compared simulation results.

This paper addresses the robust finite-time stabi-lization (FTS) issue for stochastic parabolic PDE systems via non-fragile spatial sampled-data control scheme. First, a class of distributed parameter systems characterized by the delayed stochastic parabolic partial differential equation is developed for analyzing the effects of stochastic disturbance, structural uncertainty, and discrete delay on the system performance. Then, a non-fragile spatial sampled-data control scheme is established by setting sampling points in the spatial domain, which effectively saves communication resources and ensures that the closed-loop system maintains good performance when the controller is perturbed. Moreover, based on the partial differential equation theory, stochastic analysis approach, and the extended Wirtinger's inequality technique, several criteria are provided to ensure the robust FTS of stochastic parabolic PDE systems in the mean square sense. Lastly, a numerical example is provided to verify the feasibility of the suggested stabilization criteria and control scheme.
