Aiming at the ore blending problem in the open-pit mining scenario, the optimization objective is to minimize the grade variance of the sliding window of the ore flow, and a cooperative shovel scheduling model for real-time ore blending is established. A reinforcement learning-enhanced dynamic multi- objective evolutionary algorithm is proposed, where a Q-learning operator selection mechanism is introduced to reuse the information from the previous environment for tracking the optimal solution in the dynamic environment. Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively control the grade fluctuation of the ore flow and dynamically respond to external events, and can find a better solution in real time compared with the traditional operator selection algorithm.

Establishing the dynamics model of the offshore drilling experimental system can better complete the offshore drilling test in the laboratory environment and reduce the cost of testing. A dynamical modeling method for the offshore drilling experimental system built on the double-layer Stewart parallel mechanism is proposed. Firstly, the kinematic and dynamical characteristics of the double-layer Stewart parallel mechanism are combined with the Lagrange method and the virtual work method to establish the dynamics model of the mechanism. Then a parameter identification scheme is designed using a nonlinear gray system estimation method based on the trust-domain reflection algorithm, and the model parameters are identified. The model is downscaled to improve the feasibility of the identification scheme and the accuracy of the identified parameters. The actual experimental system data verify this model's correctness and the model parameters' accuracy.

In this paper, a new fourth-orders memristor chaotic system is obtained by introducing a smooth memristor model as the feedback term based on the modified three-orders chaotic system. The system can generate double-wing, four-wing chaos or hyperchaos for different parameters and initial conditions. Through the analysis of Lyapunov exponent and other dynamics, we can see that the system has complex chaotic, hyperchaotic, and continuous chaotic. Other dynamical behaviors such as multistability and extreme multi-stability are found by comparing phase and bifurcation diagrams, and equilibrium point calculations. Finally, the chaotic behavior is successfully verified by circuit simulation. © 2021 IEEE

Blast furnace operating parameters regulate the gas utilization rate (GUR), and different operating parameters affect the GUR on different time scales. However, the existing methods only analyze and model the prediction on a single-time scale, and the accuracy of the model needs to be improved. In this paper, a multi-time-scale prediction method of blast furnace gas utilization rate based on causality is proposed. Firstly, according to the production characteristics of the blast furnace, burden and blast supply are the operation means to regulate the blast furnace on different time scales. Then, this paper presents a blast furnace operation parameter extraction method fusing correlation coefficient and information entropy, and selects two most informative parameters to characterize the operation. On this basis, the causal analysis method is used to prove that the selected operation parameters affect the development trend of GUR. Finally, the long and short time scale prediction models of GUR are established, which are verified by the data of the actual blast furnace production process, improving the prediction accuracy of the GUR efficiently.

The proportion of photovoltaic power generation in the global energy structure is increasing year by year. Because of its volatility and periodicity, grid-connected photovoltaic challenges the safe and stable operation of power grid. One of the ways to solve this problem is data mining. Data mining needs high-quality data support, and data cleaning is one of the important means to improve data quality. Aiming at the problem of poor quality of original PV data, this paper analyzes two typical outliers of PV data and proposes a PV output data cleaning method based on Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) clustering algorithm, quartile algorithm and Pearson correlation coefficient interpolation method. Comparison of DBSCAN clustering algorithm combined with the quartile method of outlier identification with the quartile method alone outlier identification, the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper is verified. Then using the method proposed in this paper for outlier identification based on Pearson correlation coefficient interpolation and cubic spline interpolation to verify the data filling effect, the results show that Pearson correlation coefficient interpolation is superior to cubic spline interpolation. Finally, two sets of data with different data cleaning methods are substituted into the Long short-term memory (LSTM) Model to verify accuracy of the cleaning method proposed in this paper.

This paper proposes a distributed optimization algorithm based on alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) for the distributed optimization problem of multi-agent systems, called ADMM with adaptive penalty terms and conditional communication (for short, AAPCC), by using the local information of agents to update the adaptive penalty terms to speed up the convergence speed while by restricting the communication conditions of agents to reduce the communication cost of agents in the iterative process. Thus, the communication cost of the system is reduced while the convergence speed is ensured. Numerical simulation experiments show that in a multi-agent system, compared with the classical ADMM, AAPCC can better balance the convergence speed and communication cost, suitable for multi-agent systems that require fast convergence speed and less communication cost. © 2021 IEEE

Due to the rapid growth of online education worldwide, assessing the learning effectiveness of students during online classes has become increasingly challenging for teachers. In this paper, a method of assessing online education effect based on YOLOv8 and Vision Transformer is proposed. Firstly, the drowsiness state of students in an online teaching unconstraint environment is estimated by using YOLOv8, and then the gaze direction of awake students is estimated by using Vision Transformer to assess the students' attention levels during online education. The results from YOLOv8 are determined based on the calculated probabilities of drowsiness or wakefulness. And then gaze estimation method proposed in this paper was compared with state-of-the-art methods on the MPIIFaceGaze and Gaze360 datasets in which the angular errors of gaze estimation are 4.58° and 12.27°, respectively. We conducted experiments and analysis on a self-made dataset, from which the results demonstrate the feasibility of our method in an unconstrained environment.

In the past, most robots used rigid structures. With the development of intelligent materials, more and more soft materials began to be used in the manufacture of robots. Magnetic-driven soft robot is one of its important branches. Because of the flexibility of magnetoelastic composite robots and the harmlessness of magnetic field to human body, a magnetically-controlled soft robot has broad application prospects in medical fields such as disease diagnosis and treatment in human body. A small lamellate magnetic soft robot is designed in this paper with the advantages of small volume, light weight, high deformation, fast and simple manufacture. And it can be driven without wire under the control of the magnetic field formed by the three-dimensional Helmholtz coil. The robot can walk and crawl on the surface of magnetically-controlled. The motion characteristics of the magnetic soft robot such as crawling step length and bending height are analyzed. The data are collected through experiments to analyze the relationship between the control signal and the motion characteristics.

Considering the actual multi-agent coverage process, the motion trajectories are seriously affected by disturbances and noise. In this paper, a cooperative control method based on active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) for multiple mecanum-wheeled robots (MWMR) is proposed to improve its robustness. In particular, to suppress the total disturbances during the running of each robot and reduce large computation and observation cost of high order ADRC, a reduced-order cascaded ADRC (RC-ADRC) is proposed. Moreover, distributed controller is proposed to track the expected trajectories of multiple mecanum-wheeled robots under disturbances. Compared with the proposed RC-ADRC based cooperative control scheme and PID based cooperative control one, the favorable motion trajectory tracking performance is obtained. Simulation results verify the superiority of the method.

Early forest fire image recognition plays an important role in timely fire fighting. This paper proposes an early forest fire recognition method based on C-GhostNet network. The C-GhostNet network is an improved version of GhostNet, which mainly consists of a series of c-ghost bottlenecks, each c-ghost bottleneck mainly consists of two c-ghost modules. Through the concat operation and channel shuffle, the c-ghost module establishes the relationship between the input data and the output features generated by the original ghost module, so that GhostNet network has the ability to capture contextual features. The experimental results show that the C-GhostNet network achieves better recognition performance than GhostNet without introducing additional computational load, and the running speed reaches about 20FPS, which basically realizes real-time recognition. In addition, like GhostN et, the C-GhostNet network is also a lightweight network. © 2022 IEEE.
