Landslide susceptibility maps (LSM) assess the geospatial distribution of potential landslide hazards by analyzing the intrinsic and extrinsic factors affecting landslides, and provide decision support for urban construction planning and landslide hazard prevention. In order to obtain a more accurate LSM, we combine the information model (I) and random forest (RF) methods. First, we combined 41,965 landslide data records and eight types of basic environmental factors (digital elevation model (DEM), slope, aspect, lithology, fault distance, normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), annual precipitation, and land cover type) in southern china, and calculated the informativeness values (IV) of each factor by the I model, and then used these IV as the input variables of the RF. Subsequently, we divided the landslides and randomly selected non-landslide samples as training set and test set, predict landslide susceptibility using the trained model and make graphs. Finally, evaluate the I-RF model by using indicators such as accuracy (ACC) and area under the curve (AUC). The results show that: 1. The ACC of the I-RF model is 0.803 and the AUC is 0.894, which is a significant improvement over the I model alone;2. The LSM obtained by the I-RF model show that the high and very high susceptibility zones account for 21.92% and 3.77% of the area, respectively, but contain 56.01% and 26.80% of the landslide hazards. © 2024 SPIE.

The task scheduling problem in power systems is complex, especially when communication costs exceed computation costs. This paper proposes an improved HEFT algorithm with a node merging mechanism, merging nodes through hierarchical traversal to assign high-communication-cost tasks to the same processor, reducing communication overhead. Experiments with 499-dimensional and 1614-dimensional matrices from the power system show that the improved algorithm reduces completion time by 5ms and 2ms, respectively, compared to standard HEFT. © 2024 IEEE.

With the development of cloud computing and the advancement of new infrastructure construction, the electricity consumption of interconnected data centers is rapidly increasing. Reasonable planning while ensuring the quality of data center services is of great significance in reducing the total cost of data center planning and improving the flexibility of the new power system. Therefore, this paper proposes a day ahead scheduling method for integrated energy system including data center energy storage park based on information gap decision-making theory. Firstly, based on the power constraints of IT equipment and the thermal characteristics of the data center, a flexible operation model for the data center is established. Secondly, based on the energy hub architecture, a comprehensive energy system scheduling model including data center energy storage was established. Then, for the uncertain parameters in the model, information gap decision theory is introduced to model and analyze them. Finally, in a park integrated energy system for example test, to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

Node classification and link prediction attracts much attention in network topology analysis. By forecasting the potential presence of a connection between two nodes in a network, link prediction has extensive applications in areas such as power grid management, forecasting, and security. Recently, Graph Neural Network (GNN) based link prediction methods have effectively leveraged deep learning techniques for link prediction tasks and have garnered significant attention. However, many GNN-based approaches focus on feature extraction from the adjacency matrix for embedding at a single scale based on the entire graph structure. In many scenarios, the presence of a link between two nodes is influenced not only by the nodes themselves but also by potential conflicting links among their neighboring nodes at various scales. Thus, incorporating the effects of links and nodes across different scales within the graph is crucial for accurate link prediction for a given node pair. Furthermore, while heuristic information is frequently used as embedding features in link prediction, its integration into GNN-based methods has been relatively limited. To address these issues, this paper proposes a Bi-order Graph Attention Auto-Encoder with Neighbor Node Correlation Embedding (BGAEN) for link prediction. BGAEN enhances graph node features by integrating heuristic information. Additionally, BGAEN incorporates a node correlation-based graph auto-encoding loss to embed heuristic correlation features into node representations. These extracted correlation of node representations are then utilized into a bi-order graph attention neural network as the encoder to capture features across multiple neighborhood scales to alleviate the conflict risk for link prediction. Experimental results show that the BGAEN approach outperforms traditional link prediction methods. The experiments also confirm the effectiveness of the multi-scale neighborhood information and node correlation embedding design

In order to effectively improve the efficiency of GIS equipment condition maintenance, it is necessary to accurately evaluate its health status, and it is important to select the effective state quantity. This paper analyzes the historical data of defects and faults of GIS equipment, and quantitatively evaluates the detection effectiveness of related status quantities of GIS equipment from the method of defect detection. The results show that the defect detection rate of monitoring alarm is the highest, and the detection effectiveness of frequent suppression, oil leakage, body gas chamber leakage and corresponding state quantity of secondary accessories of the mechanism is the best among the monitoring alarm defect detection methods. Among the detection methods of live detection defects, the effectiveness of the corresponding state of bulk partial discharge and gas chamber leakage was the best. Among the abnormal events of existing equipment, insulation defects such as air leakage and partial discharge of the body and mechanical performance defects of the mechanism and box accounted for the highest proportion. In the operation and maintenance of the equipment, the ultra-high frequency and ultrasonic partial discharge detection, body temperature rise, abnormal noise, SF6 density meter and pressure gauge corresponding to the above defects should be strengthened. In this study, the meteorological fields for 2001, 2010, and 2022 were simulated using the WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model, based on land use data from Chengdu and its neighboring satellite cities. The purpose is to uncover the effects of urbanization on extreme high-temperature weather and the urban heat island phenomenon. It was found that urbanization notably elevates temperatures in Chengdu’s central and new urban areas, with a significant increase in 2022, whereas areas like Longquan Mountain, unaffected by urbanization, experienced minimal temperature changes. The urban heat island effect varies throughout the day, emerging in the morning, peaking at noon, and remaining evident at night due to the thermal inertia of urban structures. The transformation in urban land cover and usage patterns directly influences the distribution of urban temperatures. The study emphasizes the importance of green space conservation, building material selection, and the optimization of urban layouts in urban planning to alleviate the heat island effect. This study contributes scientific insights into climate change amid global urbanization and proposes strategies for urban planning and climate adaptation. © 2024 SPIE.

grid-connected voltage source converters (VSCs) typically utilize phase-locked loops (PLL) for synchronization. However, this approach may lead to transient synchronization instability under weak grid conditions, especially during significant disturbances such as large power steps or asymmetric faults, etc. The transient synchronization instability issues resulting from PLL and weak grid interactions can be avoided by using a natural abc frame without PLL control structure. In this paper, the transient characteristics of VSC with and without PLL control strategies are compared by considering two common large disturbance scenarios: 1) large power step and 2) asymmetric faults. The PSCAD/EMTDC time-domain simulation results are also provided. © 2024 IEEE.

This article focuses on the lightning location system data of a wind farm for over 6 years, and analyses the extraction method of lightning ground flash trajectory based on clustering algorithm. Firstly, the DBSCAN combined with OPTICS method is selected to cluster the lightning positioning data. Then, based on the short-term motion inertia of the same name thunderstorm cloud cluster, a quantitative method is proposed to identify the centroid points of the same name cluster in terms of velocity and direction, and further extract the lightning ground flash activity trajectory. According to the results, it was found that most of the lightning ground flash trajectories were basically consistent with the direction of mountain ranges in mountainous areas, proving the rationality of the method proposed in this paper. Based on the research in this article, the movement law of lightning ground flash activity can be grasped to a certain extent, providing a certain reference basis for lightning protection in the power system. © 2024 IEEE, © VDE VERLAG GMBH ∙ Berlin ∙ Offenbach.

Overhead line ice is one of the important factors that jeopardize the safe operation of the power system, the widely used ice-covered image monitoring technology urgently needs to improve the ability to identify ice-covered defects, in order to improve the accuracy of the research and judgment of ice-covered defects, this paper addresses the above problems, using the improved YOLO8 algorithm to identify the target of the transmission line ice-covered image area. Firstly, the YOLO8 target detection algorithm is improved by introducing deformable convolution DCNv3 to generate learnable offsets to improve the traditional fixed convolution operation, realizing nonlinear sampling of the input feature map during the convolution process, which improves the robustness and accuracy of the algorithm. Then the SioU loss function is introduced to optimize the network, which is experimentally verified to achieve an inference accuracy of 88.8% mAP to meet the identification of ice-covered transmission lines, and the effectiveness and superiority of the algorithm proposed in this paper is proved through comparative tests. © 2024 IEEE.

In response to the problems of low resource utilization and difficult service optimization in the resource allocation of the technology center, this article adopts reinforcement learning to optimize the adaptive resource allocation and services of the technology center, aiming to improve resource management and service response capabilities through reinforcement learning algorithms and integrated architecture management. Reinforcement learning algorithms establish predictive models based on historical task data and current load conditions to monitor the resource requirements of various services in real-time. Through the feedback mechanism of state action pairs, the algorithm can continuously optimize resource allocation strategies to ensure priority allocation to high priority tasks when resources are scarce. At the same time, reinforcement learning can also predict the resource demand of sudden tasks, adjust the allocation of computing resources in advance, and reduce task queuing and system bottlenecks. The results showed that with the introduction of reinforcement learning strategy, the resource utilization rate decreased from 85% to 80% in case of faults, and the task success rate also decreased from 98% to 96%. However, the overall performance decline was relatively limited, indicating that the system can quickly recover most of its performance after recovering from faults and continue to maintain high service quality. The integration optimization strategy based on reinforcement learning and technology platform effectively solves the shortcomings of traditional resource management mode and provides strong technical support for enterprise digital transformation. © 2024 IEEE.
