This study aims to explore the driver's takeover performance in different emergency takeover scenes and takeover warnings, and to respond to how to design the emergency degree of takeover warning. First, we designed 4 takeover events based on takeover scenes (accident scene - emergency, ramp scene - non-emergency) and takeover request time variables (5s- emergency, l0s- non-emergency). 42 drivers participated in the driving simulation experiment, and 8 evaluation indicators were obtained from four dimensions: control behavior, eye tracking, heart rate and vehicle performance. The results show that the driver's takeover performance is globally optimal in non-emergency scenes and non-emergency warnings. In non-emergency situations, drivers can reduce stress behavior and maintain good driving status. After receiving the non-emergency takeover warning, the driver's control and psychological performance are better in the emergency scene. This study can provide a reference for a comprehensive evaluation of takeover performance in different takeover scenes and warnings, and can also be applied to the human-machine interaction takeover warning design of automated vehicles. © 2024 IEEE.

A Hybrid Neural Network Model for Marine Dissolved Oxygen Concentrations Time-Series Forecasting Based on Multi-Factor Analysis and a Multi-Model Ensemble

Dissolved oxygen(DO)is an important indicator of aquaculture,and its accurate forecasting can effectively improve the quality of aquatic *** this paper,a new DO hybrid forecasting model is proposed that includes three stages:multi-factor analysis,adaptive decomposition,and an optimizationbased ***,considering the complex factors affecting DO,the grey relational(GR)degree method is used to screen out the environmental factors most closely related to *** consideration of multiple factors makes model fusion more ***,the series of DO,water temperature,salinity,and oxygen saturation are decomposed adaptively into sub-series by means of the empirical wavelet transform(EWT)***,five benchmark models are utilized to forecast the sub-series of EWT *** ensemble weights of these five sub-forecasting models are calculated by particle swarm optimization and gravitational search algorithm(PSOGSA).Finally,a multi-factor ensemble model for DO is obtained by weighted *** performance of the proposed model is verified by timeseries data collected by the pacific islands ocean observing system(PacIOOS)from the WQB04 station at *** evaluation indicators involved in the experiment include the Nash–Sutcliffe efficiency(NSE),Kling–Gupta efficiency(KGE),mean absolute percent error(MAPE),standard deviation of error(SDE),and coefficient of determination(R^(2)).Example analysis demonstrates that:①The proposed model can obtain excellent DO forecasting results;②the proposed model is superior to other comparison models;and③the forecasting model can be used to analyze the trend of DO and enable managers to make better management decisions.

A STUDY ON TWO-STAGE SELECTION MODEL OF TOURISM DESTINATION AT THE SCALE OF URBAN AGGLOMERATIONS

Considering that the demand of tourism destination is variable on the scale of urban agglomeration, the selection process of travel destination is divided into two stages. The traditional transportation combination model based on the multinomial Logit cannot reflect this characteristic. And it is the lack of consideration of the influence of travel distribution and the dynamic transfer of passenger flow between various transport routes. Therefore, this thesis established a combination model of travel demand distribution and transportation assignment with two-stage terminal selection characteristics based on the nested Logit. Based on the analysis of tourists' trip process on the scale of urban agglomeration, a tourist flow transport network with travel destination nest structure is constructed. The generalized cost impedance function of transportation route is constructed based on the direct cost of transportation mode and the indirect cost of travel time. Based on the characteristics of two-stage destination selection of tourists, the form of travel distribution function of tourist flow is given. Through the first-order optimization conditions, it proved that the volume of travel distribution and tourism passenger transport assignment can meet the two-stage equilibrium conditions in the equilibrium state. Based on the idea of MSA algorithm, it designed the solution algorithm of the model and verified the feasibility of the model and algorithm in a simplified example. The calculation results show that the two-stage equilibrium assignment model proposed in this paper can obtain the volume of travel distribution and transportation assignment at the same time, meanwhile compared with the multinomial logit model, the nested Logit structure fully considers the attraction measure of the city destination and the scenic spot destination, which is more in line with the choice behavior of the tourists when choosing the transportation route. Fuel cell vehicle hydrogen supply system is an important part of fuel cell vehicle driving. Ensuring the safety of hydrogen supply system is very important for fuel cell vehicles. At present, the main safety problems in hydrogen supply system of fuel cell include hydrogen leakage, overtemperature and overpressure. In this paper, the fault tree is used to analyze the explosion caused by internal faults in the hydrogen system, and the safety protection for the hydrogen supply system is carried out. As the monitoring equipment of hydrogen supply system, hydrogen controller plays an important role in ensuring the safety of on-board hydrogen supply system. Piezoelectric stages use piezoelectric actuators and flexure hinges as driving and amplifying mechanisms,*** systems have high positioning accuracy and high-frequency responses,and they are widely used in various precision/ultra-precision positioning ***,the main challenge with these devices is the inherent hysteresis nonlinearity of piezoelectric actuators,which seriously affects the tracking accuracy of a piezoelectric *** by this challenge,in this work,we developed a Hammerstein model to describe the hysteresis nonlinearity of a piezoelectric *** particular,in our proposed scheme,a feedback-linearization algorithm is used to eliminate the static hysteresis *** addition,a composite controller based on equivalent-disturbance compensation was designed to counteract model uncertainties and external *** analysis of the stability of a closed-loop system based on this feedback-linearization algorithm and composite controller was performed,and this was followed by extensive comparative experiments using a piezoelectric stage developed in the *** experimental results confirmed that the feedback-linearization algorithm and the composite controller offer improved linearization and trajectory-tracking performance.

An enhanced hybrid ensemble deep learning approach for forecasting daily PM_(2.5)

PM_(2.5) forecasting technology can provide a scientific and effective way to assist environmental governance and protect public *** forecast PM_(2.5),an enhanced hybrid ensemble deep learning model is proposed in this *** whole framework of the proposed model can be generalized as follows:the original PM_(2.5) series is decomposed into 8 sub-series with different frequency characteristics by variational mode decomposition(VMD);the long short-term memory(LSTM)network,echo state network(ESN),and temporal convolutional network(TCN)are applied for parallel forecasting for 8 different frequency PM_(2.5) sub-series;the gradient boosting decision tree(GBDT)is applied to assemble and reconstruct the forecasting results of LSTM,ESN and *** comparing the forecasting data of the models over 3 PM_(2.5) series collected from Shenyang,Changsha and Shenzhen,the conclusions can be drawn that GBDT is a more effective method to integrate the forecasting result than traditional heuristic algorithms;MAE values of the proposed model on 3 PM_(2.5) series are 1.587,1.718 and 1.327μg/m3,respectively and the proposed model achieves more accurate results for all experiments than sixteen alternative forecasting models which contain three state-of-the-art models.

The intelligent control of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) has essential research significance and application in logistics loading, unmanned driving, and emergency rescue. As an idealized human-computer interaction method, gesture has tremendous expressive power. Therefore, the gesture-based AGV control method is the mainstream. However, In a complex environment, noise interference can affect the precise and real-time control of AGV. To deal with this problem, a real-time AGV gesture control method based on human body part detection is proposed. We design a simple AGV control method based on human gestures by the relative relationship between human body parts in space. We extend a new branch on the Fully Convolutional One-Stage Object Detection (FCOS), which constrains the detection range of human parts. This method subtly associates the human parts with the human body, which vastly improves the anti-interference capability of gesture recognition. We train the network end-to-end on the COCO Human Parts dataset and achieve a detection accuracy of 35.4% of human parts. In addition, We collect a small dataset for validating the gesture recognition method designed in this paper and achieves an accuracy of 96.1% with a detection speed of 17.23 FPS. 1,Analysis of Anticoagulant Ice Performance of Superhydrophobic Coating Asphalt Concrete Surface

This study aims to understand the anti-icing performance of superhydrophobic coating applied to asphalt pavements and solve the problem of traffic accidents caused by road icing in northern China and high-altitude areas. With the hydrophobic nano-SiO2 powder and polyurethane modified polysiloxane as the main materials, transparent superhydrophobic SiO2/polysiloxane composite coating was prepared on the asphalt marshall specimen surface by the dip coating method. Then, this study made the analysis of the wear resistance, light transmittance, chemical stability and superhydrophobicity of the coating. Meanwhile, it simulated tests such as icing test, "drop weight" test, and anti-freezing test, which were used to evaluate the abrasion resistance, transparency, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, anti-icing performance, easy deicing performance and low-temperature frost resistance of the superhydrophobic coating and the surface morphology of the coating was analyzed by scanning electron microscope and optical microscope. The results showed that the SiO2 mass fraction is 7.5% and the light transmittance of the coating is 76.3%, the water contact angle of the composite coating could reach 160.9°±0.7°;even if the surface of the test piece was washed by rain for 5 hours, it could still maintain a certain degree of hydrophobicity;meanwhile, the complete superhydrophobic coating and the superhydrophobic coating with abrasion were applied to asphalt concrete pavement, the contact angle of the complete superhydrophobic coating was still greater than 150° after freezing for 1 h at low temperature (−20-0 ℃), and the coating with abrasion on the surface can also maintain a certain degree of hydrophobicity. In a −5 ℃ cryogenic tank, water drops were dropped at a constant rate on the surface of the tilted complete superhydrophobic asphalt concrete and the superhydrophobic asphalt concrete with abrasion. Study on the Spatial Distribution Characteristics of traffic Conflicts in the Upstream Transition Zone of Expressway Nighttime Maintenance Operation Zone

In the Maintenance operation Zone, traffic conflicts mainly occur in the upstream transition zone. Therefore, it is of great importance clarify the spatial distribution characteristics of traffic conflicts in the upstream transition zone of expressway nighttime maintenance work zone. Firstly,a comprehensive traffic conflict risk index was established based on vehicle collision theory and traffic conflict measurement indicators. Secondly, unmanned aerial aircraft (UAV) was deployed to record vehicle trajectory films, and the Tracker software was used to collect micro movement data by identifying and tracking the vehicles. Finally, a quantitative study of the distribution characteristics of traffic conflicts in the upstream transition zone of the nighttime maintenance work zone was conducted. Research results show: rear-end collisions mainly occur within a range of 75-175 meters from the end of the upstream transition zone, whereas lane-changing conflicts occur within a range of 50-125 meters mostly. The comprehensive traffic conflict risk index in the nighttime maintenance work zone increases and subsequently decreases as traffic volume increases. In the traffic flow scenario of 1000-1300 pcu/h, the upstream transition zone range of 25-150 meters is a significantly concentrated area of traffic conflicts with severe consequences. The research results provide reference for the optimal layout and accident prevention of nighttime maintence work zones on expressways. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Mechanisms of Interface Electrostatic Potential Induced Asphalt-Aggregate Adhesion

The electrostatic potential at the interface of the asphalt molecular and aggregate oxides is the primary factor generating the adhesion between the asphalt-aggregate contact surfaces. However, the route of electrostatic potential affecting the asphalt-aggregate adhesion is yet to be determined at the molecular level. This study proposed that the electron accumulation at the interface of the asphalt molecular and aggregate oxides generates a significant electrostatic potential hence to induce the adhesion between the asphalt and aggregate in asphalt pavement. A microscopic molecular dynamics (MD) simulation incorporated with macroscopic adhesion work experiments is conducted to analyze the interface adhesive performance between the asphalt and aggregate. The adhesion work experiment demonstrated the effect of aggregate surface oxides on asphalt adhesion at the macro level and further verified the simulation results. The result demonstrated that a notable electron accumulation can be observed by MD at the interface of asphalt molecular and multiple oxides which generates the electrostatic potential. The strong electrostatic attractions and hydrogen bonds between alkaline oxides (MgO, CaO, CaCO3) and asphalt molecules enhance the relative concentration distribution, diffusion coefficient, and adhesion of asphalt on the aggregate surface. The significant electrostatic potential difference at the interface of the asphalt molecular and the oxide enables a strong adhesion between them due to the near-surface failure potential. Besides, the negative charge accumulation on both the benzene ring structure and oxygen atoms in the asphalt molecules results in poor adhesion at the interface of asphalt molecules and multiple oxides. It was found that a high correlation exists between the MD prediction and experimental testing results.
