Landfill is one of the important needs that must be provided and considered by a District. Nowadays, in Banyuwangi Regency already had one site of the landfill, but1.5 Ha site of this landfill could only accommodate wastes from 13 areas in Banyuwangi Regency. Bulusan landfill has currently exceeded the limit so it needed a new landfill. It was truly difficult to choose the new location for landfill if it had Togo through a measurements field and check in every indicator session directly, so by using Geographic Information System (GIS) application, the selection of the location of landfill will be helped by using this system in terms of time, cost and energy with an effective and efficient process, and an optimal *** research aimed to determine the candidate of location replacement of the Bulusan landfill that appropriate to Indonesia's National Standards (SNI) No. 19-3241-1994 with Geographic Information System (GIS) help. The process of determining landfill candidate used a scoring method by using Geographic Information System (GIS) to search certain areas that decent to be the location of the landfill. The selection of landfill area consisted of 3 stages namely regional stage, allowance stage, and determination *** the regional stage, there were 10 candidates as the recommended location with the highest overlay score. Then, it continued to the allowance stage. In this stage, the highest score of 10 recommended locations would be chosen. The final stage was the determination stage, which was one of the new landfill location decided. As the result, the appropriate recommendation for the replacement candidate of Bulusan landfill was Location Candidate number VII which was located in Ketapang Village, Kalipuro sub-regency with area 0.4641 km2 or 46.41 Ha. © 2018 IEEE.

The patient's infusion fluid will only be changed if the nurse changes it or based on information from the patient's family. The research method used in terms of fluid volume utilizes the function of the Arduino microcontroller as the brain, the load cell sensor as an infusion fluid weight detector connected to the IoT, fuzzy logic calculations on the infusion volume weight measuring device in line with real-time decision-making when reading gram weight changes with sensors, and the system development method using a prototype model. The test results of three infusion bottles containing mineral water with a liquid volume of 500 ml and a load cell sensor as an infusion weight detector can be accepted by the Arduino Wemos D1 as a load cell sensor processing component. The infusion liquid weight data is uploaded to the MySQL database, and a notification is sent and displayed on the smartphone when the infusion volume reaches 12% of its weight. The results of this study indicate that the design of tools connected to applications on smartphones can work well and facilitate the process of monitoring infusions for patients in real-time © 2024 IEEE.

Filler serves as a filling for the voids between coarse aggregate and fine aggregate in the AC-WC mixture. The filler has a significant effect on the marshall characteristics of the AC-WC mixture even though it is only as a filler. This study aims to investigate the effect of fly ash, volcanic ash, rice husk ash on marshall characteristics. The research data obtained from secondary data based on previous researchers, (Pratama 2021) for fly ash filler, (Rezi 2021) for volcanic ash filler, (Malacca 2021) for rice husk ash filler. The data is in the form of variations in the percentage of filler (fly ash, rice husk and volcano ash) with the same asphalt content. The sample was processed for statistical testing using SPSS version 26 software to determine the effect of asphalt content and filler percentage on marshall characteristics. Optimum Asphalt Content (OAC) test results obtained 6.1% fly ash, 6.2% volcanic ash, 6.7% rice husk ash. The test results on Marshall showed the most influential filler in the 2% rice husk ash filler with density, stability, Marshall Quontient (MQ) and VMA values, while the Flow value obtained the highest value in 1% volcanic ash filler. For the VFB of fly ash and rice husk ash, there was a decrease in the value of the filler content of 2% and 2.5% and an increase in the filler content of 3%. The results of statistical tests using SPSS show that those that have a significant positive linear influence on the asphalt content and filler percentage are Stability and Marshall Quotient (MQ). Microplastics in aquatic environment can possibly enter into the aquatic organism, so this study aims to identify the microplastic concentrations in water, sediment, and milkfish. The samples are taken in downstream Citarum river at Muara Gembong. Water samples were taken using a manta trawl pulled by a boat while sediment and milkfish samples were taken using the grab sampling method. Organic removal and cleaning was conducted by using the Fenton Oxidation method which use Fe and H2O2. The average of microplastic concentrations in river water, seawater ponds, mixed water, and seawater consecutively are 0.0574 ± 0.025 particles/m3, 3.000 ± 2.645 particles/L, 0.666 ± 0.577 particles/L and 1.333 ± 1.155 particles/L. The average of microplastic concentrations in sediment sea water pond, sediment mixed water pond and sea sediment samples consecutively are 3.666 ± 0.577 particles/20g, 2.667 ± 1.527 particles/20g, 2.333 ± 0.577 particles/20g and 0.667 ± 1.154 particle/20g. The average of microplastic concentrations in the gut and gills of milkfish in sea ponds and mixed ponds consecutively are 2.333 ± 2.266 particles/fish and 2.222 ± 3.768 particles/fish. The average of microplastic concentrations in milkfish tissues in the sea and mixed water ponds are 1.333 ± 1.000 particles/fish and 1.111 ± 1.167 particles/fish. © 2020 The Authors, published by EDP Sciences.

Design and construction of road embankment presents several challenges, including the possibility of bearing capacity failure, large total settlement, differential settlement, and slope instability, which may result from the weight of the embankment construction itself, and/or weak foundation. A number of techniques have been developed and can be used to overcome these problems, one of them is by modifying the weight of the embankment itself with the use of lightweight materials, such as soil-EPS mixture. The use of soil-EPS mixture as lightweight material provides several advantages, among which can achieve the same volume or elevation requirement with a significantly lighter weight compared to ordinary materials, improving slope stability, embankment over high compressibility soil, and to reduce soil pressure to soil retaining structures, abutment or bridge pillar. Fly ash also added to act as binder to increase shear strength of mixture. The result of the compaction test shows that the addition of a small amount of EPS to the mixture can significantly reduce the maximum dry density of the mixture. Triaxial UU and UCS test results show a reduction in mixture strength as EPS contents increase, but due to the presence of fly ash increases the strength of mixture as the number of day increases, so that the use of lightweight materials has the potential to be one of soil improvement solutions. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The Meninting diversion-spillway tunnel is a part of the Meninting dam project located in West Lombok District. The construction commenced in 2017;then, a series of severe Lombok earthquakes halted the construction of the tunnel for a while in 2018, where some landslides occurred around the site. This possibly caused rock masses around the tunnel to be sheared off during the earthquake events. Updated probability seismic hazard analysis shows increased seismic parameters, including peak ground, short spectrum and long spectrum accelerations, which then resulted in increased stresses around the tunnel. Thus, the stability of the tunnel decreased in terms of its factors of safety. Although, the overall factor of safety was about 2.5, the tunnel was still stable in current conditions;the tunnel certainly requires more stability improvements to face possible similar severe earthquakes in future. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Traffic accidents are not just individual tragedies, but they also hinder economic growth, especially in developing countries. Traffic accidents continue to increase every year. One of the reasons is that there are still many roads that haven’t applied the principle of safe roads to their design. The increase in traffic accidents shouldn’t be underestimated because traffic accidents are predictable and prevented. To reduce the risk of accidents, it is necessary to carry out a strategy to improve road safety using existing methods. One of the methods is International Road Assessment programme (IRAP) which was used in this study on Dr. Saharjo Road to achieving star ratings 3. From the observation, it was found the existing road conditions were very good for the vehicle occupant it had reached 4 stars, and it was functional for motorcycles and bicycles it had reached 3 stars, but for pedestrians on the road is still lacking in facilities because it only reaches 2 stars. Along with the increasing of infrastructure development in Indonesia especially in jepara, so the necessary of material also increase, for example: sand. Nowadays, muntilan is the sand that often be used in making infrastructure in the government because it is considered that it has the good quality, whereas in the other hand the river sand is also abundant, but the government perverted mintilan sand as the development material. River sand is usually used by the middle to lower county because the house because the price is cheaper than muntilan sand. After doing this research we hope that: can know the quality of the river sand if it is used in infeastructure, knowing the river sand in jepara that have the good quality, such as: keling sand, bangsri sand, The stages of this research are: preparation, sand inspection (mud content and organic faces, filter analysis, moister content and weight, and specific gravity), making spacimens based on SKSNI 03-6825-2002 ASTM C 305, making compressive strength test. The test result show that at 3,7,14,21,28 days old show that keling sand (93,2 kg/cm2), bangsri sand (135,2 kg/cm2). The use of river sand as the construction material by the government and community will have consequence on the balance kf muntilan sand and river sand. The specific treatment on the river sand will that quality that is almost same as muntilan sand. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper presents a case study of reconstructing past landslide failure models in a napal geological formation by undertaking a series of geoelectrical tomographies and geotechnical bor-SPT surveys. study area is located in the National Artery Road 135 Kilometres, Majene-Mamuju, West Sulawesi. Geological formation found in the area is Napal Pambauang Formation. Massive ground movement is obviously detected in the area, and several landslide events have been occured in the last 10 years. In order to derive an effective technnique of mitigating the landslide in the area, past landslide failure models are needed to reconstruct. Therefore, 2D geoelectric tomographies survey combined several geotechnical bors were undertaken. A Framework of geophysics and geotechnical investigations was developed and implemented. The results show that slope failure models can be mapped, following unique patterns in the subsurface resistivity models. The finding slope failure models are well agreement with successive scarp patterns founded in the slope area. Past and recent landslides and future landslide are derived and this can be employed to design effective landslide mitigation strategies. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The Tamblang Dam break analysis using HEC-RAS 5.0.7 and PenRis hazard classification in Indonesia

Tamblang Dam is one of the dams, north of Bali Island, with a capacity of 7.6 million m3, and the downstream areas are in the form of agricultural land, citizen settlements, schools, offices, and other public facilities for approximately 10 km2. Considering such a downstream and its large capacity, the Tamblang Dam would have a significant damage impact if it is a failure. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the failure of the Tamblang Dam. The study aims to analyze the areas affected by floods due to the dam’s failures and to measure the damage risk. The failures were simulated using HEC-RAS 5.0.7 with four scenarios, such as overtopping, upper-piping, middle-piping, and bottom-piping. The simulation result showed that the Tamblang Dam’s failure with the overtopping scenario had the worst impact as it has the highest velocity and discharge compared to the other scenarios. The overtopping scenario inundated 355 ha areas along the river. Six villages would become the victims, namely, Bengkala, Bila, Menyali, Jagaraga, Bungkulan, and Kubutambahan. Tamblang Dam failures’ danger level was figured out in this research according to the PenRis Hazard Classification of Dams in Indonesia. For this case, it is found that 2527 residents are at immediate risk of flooding caused by the failures. Therefore, following the Danger Classification from the Public Work and Housing Guidelines of Indonesia, it can be stated that the Tamblang Dam is a 4-class dam with an extremely high danger status level.
